Great historic site. The decor, enviroment and overall feel of this place was spot on. My children and I loved it. Entertaining and educational. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Overall very family friendly and a great experience!

Such history! The volunteers who wait patiently for adventurers to wander inside spring to life and share their knowledge and love of Missouri history in interesting ways. It’s really a great little piece of history in Jeff City.

Was there to catch train back home to St.Louis.

Because of flooding Amtrak was not able to run that day. So Windstar ran the River Run. It was my pleasure to drive it.

Stopped by in January, all closed up, but the exterior of the buildings in this area definitely give the feeling of age! There are some signs around with information, and great photo ops nearby with the promenade area and the Governors Mansion.

Lots of walking up stairs, pretty boring for the kids. But a beautiful building.
