A nice mile hike.Views of the Missouri River.Easy to moderate hike.Plenty of benches. The final overlook is boring.A lot of information about Lewis & Clark and Native Americans along the way.
It is a fairly small area that is public. Just 5 feet off trail is PRIVATE land. I LOVE dogs, but there were a couple of local dogs that were loose and aggressive.
A nice short hike but disappointing as it was not possible to see either the Missouri or the Osage River from the lookout point because of all the trees. It would look different in late autumn or in winter.
Nice hike. Need to do it again maybe in the fall, so you can see the river better.
Lil on the rough side but def an experience worth hiking
Beautiful trail with an amazing reward at the end, minus the 5ft black snake curled up sun bathing on the trail.
An historic walking trail, with signs denoting the Lewis and Clark history abounding! There are several burial mounds located on the crest of the hills, with markers explaining their significance and history. The end of the trail features a gorgeous deck overlooking a large bluff, with miles of forest below. A definite must for anyone looking for an invigorating hike with a fantastic view if history!
Its da best view
Short hike, beautiful historic area
I enjoyed the trail. Nature at its best. Educational as well.
Beautiful place
It is a short (1/2 mile each way) hike up to the top. Youll learn about local culture and history, as well as about natural and local flora.
Great walk. Not as easy as it used to be for me but still a great beautiful walk!
A nice little area to be alone and get your thoughts together I did not walk the path but I do think it is a beautiful place
Would recommend not going during the summer. I was hunted by mosquitos and horse flies.
Very good
Great Historical place, has informative display
It was a nice quiet hike. Kinda cold for January but I dont believe that you could see awesome veiw during spring or summer. Im glad that no one has trashed it out yet
Pretty cool place, but very secluded. At the end of the trail is a lookout that faces east. The trail is fairly easy to walk and there are a few decent views of the MO River.
The trail has steep inclines, is somewhat washed out, and is full of tree roots nearly everywhere, but the views are great. I would recommend going at least once. I think you will be happy if you do!
Clarks Hill/Norton is a sight to see. I was there today taping an interview with Carol Norton for my TV show JCTV Mid-Missouri Art News. I love the look from where Lewis & Clark once stood and treked.
A lot of historical markers that had signs full of interest facts!
Way off the beaten path! A fantastic Central Missouri historical trail
Nice trail to walk definitely get some exercise.
Beautiful trail!
The hike is short and wooded and the views are every step!
Beautiful walk to the junction of two Rivers
Long walk to see little
Historic place!
