Brought my 4 and 8 year olds out for this hike on a rainy spring day. Starting off at the Janesville outdoor school is good because of the signage and cabin. Then taking the trail down towards marsh creek offers good views of the valley. The last part of the ice age trail offers some old trees and hills.
Great scenic walk along a creek. I dont know if its part of the ice age trail, but its close to it. The creek was so clean and clear I couldnt help but splash around in it.
Gorgeous walk today. Saw three deer.
Nice wooded area for a walk but signs say “NO PETS” and we drove a significant distance for this with our pooch AFTER looking for any info regarding pets and failing to find. Info should be updated.
Nice place nobody knows about but trail topography requires physical fitness.
Beautiful place to hike and get away to the woods. The trails a a little scary in the winter due to being icy.
Easily one of the prettiest places in Janesville for a hike. Open to the public daily from sunrise to sunset. Great place for a picnic and full of wildlife!
What a beautiful spot for a nice hike! Absolutely love it here :)
It was looking overgrown today, but it looks like a nice learning place. Instead of guessing at which way to go as I didnt see a clear area map, we traversed the Ice Age Trail instead & it was a nice hike through the forest.
Some very nice hiking trails here. Hilly with a nice stream and meadow. Deer are common companions. Facilities are minimal.
Great place for a hike with the dog.
Love taking my morning walks here! Peaceful and well maintained trails.
Enjoyed hiking on this very beautiful trail.
Great place for a hike, arbor ridge is great place to drop hills
Love going to this place @ sunrise.
Great place for nature hikes. A Janesville treasure
Love walking the trails. There tends to be a lot of brush on less used trails.
Love this place
Lovely place for a hike, has a nice part of the ice age trail
Great fun with schools
Great, quiet place to take a walk. Just make sure theres not a field trip going on! Kids everywhere!
Great place to get into nature
Have been hiking here since I was a little kid. Beautiful, well maintained trails with lots of varied terrain.
Easy hike.
Its a lot of fun and a cool place to visit.
It looks a little overgrown and forgotten about, I hope to see it cleared of invasive species and fallen trees soon.
Great stretch of the Ice Age trail. Do not follow google maps and turn onto Arbor Ridge Way. If using Cty A the entrance is past the entrance to Arbor Ridge Way. And if using Cty E parking is across the street from Northridge Dr. There is no parking along Arbor Ridge Way.
Awesome place love the trails. Definitely challenging to the beginner.
Very scenic, well marked trails
Very pretty. Bring mosquito repellant!
Great place, though much habitat ruined by neigboring housing developments, its a resource for scouts and students.
Lovely walk but hard to find from the Google maps pointer
Can be a hard hike in certain areas but pretty fun.
Passed through on the Ice Age Trail.
Beautiful trails, family friendly.
