Usually has similar music but if you need a packed little place that has so much flavor to offer and 2 amazing bars with cool ambiance and decor.. this is your place.

It gets overly crowded in there. You cant walk with out touching someone. The music is sometimes good. To get a drink your best bet is to go to the back bar. Or have some drinks before you go. Make sure you get 2 drinks though at the main bar so you dont have to go back and wait.

Went there in a whim with friends and it was a great night!!! Wide variety of music and dance floor was packed. Try it out if youre ever in the area.

Went out Saturday night with my cousin for her birthday and we started at park place(amazing place) then we moved to the loft, Which dont get me wrong to each person their own bar, but man for a packed place they sure do try to take advantage.To clarify, I was the only one to order drinks out of our group, and I ordered a LIT, which the lady bartender goes to make. Now, anyone who knows a LIT, got quite a few liquors or a premixed with all liquors in one. Well, this was lemonade sugar water and not only that she tries to charge me for 2! I quickly notice, not even leaving the bar, I waved down what looked like to be the manager or owner and he quickly rectified the situation and boy that drink was good! So good, I order one more before leaving!Lets fast forward to today Wednesday 08-14-19 5 days later and a $20 charge for the first set of drinks appears on my banking statement, which I only got 1, and a $10 for the last one. Park place charged me instantly, same night, no lag, tip included in the transaction. Dafuq guys?Just want to say be careful. Not only that, 2 Iranian dude 30-40 years of age was trying to rub up on girls in that place as well. Warned the security guy close to us and he kept an eye out.

Good place but management needs a lot of help

I have been going to this place for several years. The bartenders know me by name sadly . But it’s honestly taken a few steps back. I miss the bouncers that were part time “hells angels” and would throw you out if you blinked during a Cardi B song . Now 45.8% of the bar’s crowd are people that come and spend no money and wanna dance all night and NOT contribute to the light bill . Overall I have a good time cause I drink like I’m a fish underwater, but the place needs to be more assertive and start cracking heads like old times . Also, the DJ needs to be fired and replaced by me

This could go as a bar/small club. Love the decor in this place, and the big screen plays some awesome remix videos to the live DJ music. They also have two TVs over the bar that plays movies on repeat. Thursdays are good nights to go if you want to have fun and people watch. Expect to show up around 10:30-11 for when it starts to get going. So many different walks of life come here. Mainly a hipster venue (due to the area its in), but youll get anyone and everyone in this place. Great music, and drinks are slightly over priced in my opinion. They have a small separate intimate bar in the back to the left that serves some good beer. They have an outside smoking area for all of you smokers which is great for us non-smokers inside. Guys this is a great place to get some girls as well. I would certainly and plan to take any of my out of town friends here to have fun. Ive had so many good nights here, and many more to come in the future!

It was my first time going here but I definitely enjoyed myself! The drinks were NOT watered down and the music was great(they should just try to be a little more diverse with the music seeing as though there are a lot of different people there)

It always smells funny in here! But if youre looking for a club rather than a bar in Riverside this is the place for you. They play popular dance music and have old school videos playing on projectors on the wall. I love the layout and atmosphere of this place. Theres several parts to this club which is nice if your with a group and want a little space you dont have to be in the crowded main area.

Was in JAX for a short vacation with a family member and a friend who had relatives in the area. We were in the market for some night life and the other reviews for this place were really good. One thing mentioned by all the other reviews was how crowded the LOFT gets--they werent joking!!! The inside bar isnt very big and because its so popular people are wall to wall. If you can make it to the bar, you wont be disappointed though. The bartenders are fast and the drinks are good for a night club. All the staff were friendly and the place was surprisingly clean (Im used to college bars in Tallahassee). The best part was the mix of music. It attracted a diverse crowd from mid 20s to early 40s.

The place gets packed. Expect staying in line for a few minutes during the peak hours on Friday and Saturday nights as the bouncers only let people in as others leave because they reach capacity. Friendly and quick staff. Love the atmosphere.

I went to the loft with my best friend last night and they over charged his credit card for drinks that he never had, that’s not cool at all so before you had to the loft make sure you have cash because they will screw you just like the screwed him. Never going back. SHADY ASF.

The dancefloor is way too small. If they didnt plop the bar smack dab in the middle of the place, thered be a lot more space to dance and get around! Furthermore, the sewer will sometimes back up and cause a pungent smell of feces to permeate the greater bathroom area. To my dismay, the LOFT seems to be the go-to option in Riverside for clubbing. I sure do miss the West Coast scene!

It was a fun nightclub. Really crowded and the mens bathroom toilet was disgusting (but what else would you expect at a nigtclub on a Saturday nighy). I like the old TV shows on the big screens. DJs are good, as well as the drinks. Id recommend this place if youre looking for a good Riverside bar.

I have always loved going here with friends due to the great atmosphere, music and cliental. Hands down one of the best spots in Riverside for nightlife. It is really sad that after I gave my debit card for payment that I received it back burnt as if someone took a lighter to it and I was no longer able to buy a second drink. Never in my life have I ever had my plastic card around a flame. I am honestly blown away and speechless as to how this happened. I am more than willing to give them a second chance but management needs to address this situation as this is more than a huge hassle towards the consumer. That being said, I understand mistakes happen. I truly hope I am the only one that experiences this because most patrons will not be as forgiving as myself.

Oh The LOFT...so much I could say, one of them being this will be the source of MANY good nights to come, if you love to dance, greet yourself with a shot of Vodka and have at it. Very comfortable cheers-esque environment where everyone knows everyone, expect to see normally the same crowd with the exception of handful of curious sightseers. Always a fun-filled experience, never a disappointing night. The only thing one could say would be better would be drink specials. Expect to spend a couple bucks if you are looking to get the most out of your night. Other than that small oversight, different days have different events, such as Thursdays your drink FREE PBR from 9p-10p if you are on the list; $3 otherwise, Saturdays are usually when you can expect to see large crowds with long lines, bring BETTER entertainment. you will more than often see migrates from The Pearl located here, if you knew of the myth once called The Pearl then you know the outstanding chaos you are up against. Enough said, come one come all! 5/5

Nice riverside club atmosphere but can be a wait to enter and sometimes I think they overcrowd the place just to make more drink sales, which the bartenders sometimes seem overworked and understaffed during peak times.

Its ok. Drinks are a bit pricey and it is super packed for such a small place. Usually around 11pm is when it starts getting packed and has a line outside. No cover charge.

If looking for EDM you will be EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED IN THE LOFT. Jacksonville dance clubs as a whole are a grave cry from electrifying and stimulating.
