This club is everything youre looking for, if you love grown folk music, and the Havanas food inside is so delicious.

The women are beautiful and the vibe is good! The problem I have with Cuba Libre is the menu will say 10$ but tell you cost 12.50. I ask why it cost 12.50 they said thats the way it rings up. Hidden gratuity for everything you buy. Beer 5$ but you pay 6$. Watch your wallet because you will end up tipping twice.

Awesome FOOD, MUSIC, friendly staff, bachata, reggeton, DJ played. We had 2 Champagne Bottles and scrumptious dinner seafood platter. We celebrated my friends BDay from California originally. Definitely go great atmosphere felt safe and protected. Thank you Staff.

The afrobeats dance class was nice. The crowd was small but the vibes were cool. Promote Friday nights more.

The music is way too fast! The DJ needs to slow it down just a bit and learn how to mix the music better. Other than that is very diverse and nice music selection.

Prices are decent.

The food was tasty. Really nothing but great experiences here, so I will be back. Prices were fair for the quality of the food.

Great place to meet new people, awesome Latin music to dance to and the staff was amazing. Definitely taking my family when they come from Miami, which everyone knows is the spot for fun.

If you wanna go deaf hang out here... The music was SO loud we couldnt even hear the staff at the door- we walked in and walked right out. Theres no reason on earth for music to be THAT LOUD. It was a huge disappointment, we were looking forward to drinks, dancing and fun. Ive been to a lot of clubs in my life from Miami to New York to LA and Ive gone to many concerts too. Never in my life have I entered a building with music this loud. EVER. You wouldnt be able to hear the same if you expose your ears to that. This was last weekend -7.5.2019. Major disappointment! We saw great reviews here and Facebook and were excited to visit this club during vacation. Epic fail. I do not recommend.. The location is also a little ify... I wouldnt go again even if music volume was corrected to be honest. Thats all.

I hosted my teams very first annual Fashion Show and the location is absolutely gorgeous. The equipment was amazing and the food is fantastic. My guests were happy for the most part. Overall the event was a success but there were a few complaints about the service from my guests.Lorena was a joy to work with and she was very easy to communicate with.Francisco was very accomodating and allowed me to cone in to the venue multiple times for rehearsals before the event.The kitchen manager was a little aggressive and almost got into a full blown altercation with me over something that i had already discussed with the team that booked my event.I would recommend them to anyone for their events. They are great and just like anyone else does, they make mistakes. I will be back with more events in the future.

Last night was my first time there ( Thursday 1/25/18) I love the place it’s so spacious and very contemporary scene. The only thing I didn’t was that bar tinder lady got short hair. She was not friendly at all and served the men first and skipped us. Other than I love the place!

They need to have more Spanish clubs here in Jacksonville.. this place is the only choice we have to go to listen to Spanish music.. I feel like they need to step it up and throw different events every week.. salsa concerts or contest.. or bachata etc.. being that they are the only Spanish club here.. I would step it up a few notches.. but other then that the food is great.. service is good too..

I’ve gone twice for Saturday Latin night. Menu is limited and overpriced. I ordered the Cuban sandwich and it was not made properly and tasted terrible. Only two servers for the entire lounge. Long wait to even place my order. The lights turned on and bouncers were asking everyone to leave and I was still waiting for my bill. Which then turned out to be incorrect and they attempted to charge gratuity for a table of 4. The DJs seem to be getting worse. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING. If I could give zero stars I would

I dont think its right they make you pay first for entrance then after you fork up the money security ask for IDs to verify age??. Isnt that kind of backwards??. I brought it up to managers attention but he just smiled and try to act like he doesnt know English. Wierd. But I give 1 star for large TV screens and another star for size of dance floor...I AM NOT SAYING IM UNDER AGE. IM SAYING YOUR STRATEGY IS BACKWARDS. ID CHECK SHOULD BE BEFORE PAYMENT. NOT AFTER.

Ive never been disappointed when visiting Cuba Libre! They have a beautifully appointed bar area with many comfy seating areas. The staff is polite and responsive to a person and their food and drinks are both just great! This could be Jacksonvilles best kept secret!

Great music. Good seating. Bartenders were good. Especially the short woman with the blonde hair. She makes a mean drink. I only have one recommendation. I would not use the little silver double jiggers that some of the bartenders used to measure a shot. Its not an actual full shot and shows the customer you dont know how to pour. A bartender that knows how to pour knows a shot is a 4 count. Also, in order to increase revenue i would always offer the customer top shelf. If they say no, then i would pour well from the speed rack. Only one bartender asked if i wanted top shelf. I will however be back. Music was great!

I was really looking forward to coming here, but unfortunately they advertise events as free online, but when you get to the door they don’t honor the tickets. I don’t mind paying a cover, but I hate when businesses lie. It’s so unnecessary. Just say it’s ten bucks or whatever. Don’t make an advertisement for a specific event, say that it’s free, and then try to come up with some cover at the door. So shady.

Great place to dance but the DJ sucks, the songs dont play all the way through and the mix between songs dont compliment each other, also there is too much talking in the middle of songs from the owner.. the remodeling is awesome but the old amesphire and DJ were better. I was very displeased taking my family from Atlanta . Also to to much reggetton. Not cool..

Went on a Friday night and it was dead. No one was dancing. Hope business can pick up because its a nice set up.

Best latin place in duval county

Only speaking for the Cuba Libre area, it has been changed a bit and now has lots of low tables and chairs (from the previous high tables/chairs) on reservation basis and a couple of VIP areas. Stage and dance area and 2 bars have not changed (although bar service seemed unorganized and awkward). The DJ switched songs/genre like a sample mix, playing less than half of any song. There was a band that was decent, but the accoustic and sound system did not appear flattering to their music. Cant speak on the food, it used to be really good, but have not tried since the management change. Still recommend giving both a try and decide for yourself.

My cousin, her friend, and I went to Throwback Thursdays. It was 2 of our first time so we didn’t know what to expect. The place is huge with a good size dance floor with little to no people dancing lol. The music was great as well as the drinks. Only thing was all the table were VIP or taken by 730, smh. But by the end of the night I had enjoyed myself and didn’t want to leave. Whenever I’m in the Jax area I know where to come.

I went there last night, from out of town, I can see myself going returning. Great staff cool people.

Visited here for the first time last week, the lunch buffet was amazing best food Ive had. The place was clean and inviting and Lorena the GM was so great she made the experience that much better.

I am only commenting on the night club aspect, since Ive never eaten there. The good is that there is a good sized dance floor, the security act and dress professionally, and the lighting is just enough to set the mode. Now the bad, is bad. Starting with the #1 reason you go there and thats to dance to the music. The DJ plays far to much Reggeton because it seems like thats HIS preferred music and the only type that he can mix some what well but on top of that its being delivered from an unbalanced sound system whos mid range and horns cut in and out and base is distorted. Will earn more stars if these important aspects are correced.

Fake Cuban food, some plates taste like Cuban kitchen but not in all, qualities vs price is over pricing, think this the chef is from South America (Argentina or Uruguay and the owner is from Nicaragua??look like but is not.of course something is better Thant nothing.

Came in ordered a drink it was 9:42 pm went to the bar ordered a drink ordered a drink and sat myself. 9:45 someone came to my table to take my order. This place plays Spanish music. It has a small menue of 11 items at night.

Arrived at 11:15 PM was charged 10 dollars and then additional 10 for a drink. Lights came on at 11:30am and the place is closing. It is suspose to stay open until 2am. Very displeased.

Cuba Libre its a really nice place, where you can go and enjoy the night, love the music and the DJ Little Yankee is one of the best!!!!

Im very disappointed I paid almost $35 for 3 sandwiches steak sandwich which was all bread barely any meat and on top of that it tasted burned I also bought a midnight sandwich which was also very disappointing cold and didnt taste right it tasted like it had salami in it and it doesnt bring that! And the pan con lechon was what ever I know it was not worth what I paid for not 10 each sandwich NEVER AGAIN now the place looks nice but way over priced and didnt even taste good at all.

Go to cuba libre every weekend that i possible can, love the music that dj Little Yankee plays, a variety of music but he kills it when it comes to salsa, bachata, merenque. I would give this place a 5 start but i had a problem with some lady called mara, her customer service is not proffessional at all, shes very rude! to me and my family when we went. I just keep coming back because of the music, ive gone to other places and the music sucks! the dj doesnt know how to mix, heard dj little yankee mixes on the radio latina and when i found out he was a cuba libre i went and havent stopped going when i get the chance, i never really used to go to you guys the dj yall had before wasnt good at all. They are very rude and discriminatory toward gender here. My guest was embarrassed and quite frankly so was I. Everyone needs to know that this place does not welcome transgender patrons. They treat them like criminals in here. I am highly dissapointed!
