The show was outstanding WILD PARTY. The cast seem to envelope the audience inside the plot. Its so obvious that these cast members are doing what they love, now how can that not be brilliantly entertaining. If you have a free evening check it out. You will not be disappointed you will be swept aback to a party in the 1920s. Mr. Black was particularly talented... but Im biased. This little theater came alive with the pulsating energy from these talented actors.

This is my third time at Players by the Sea, and I can only say that is has been Great! Loved the plays!! A Christmas Carol was very well done!!

Staff is friendly, the seating is older and tight. Its a smaller venue with no assigned seating, so arrive early.A small reception area that is updated as well as bathrooms and a intermission area. Drinks are available for a price.This is a local playhouse with mostly local talent. Encourage the arts and their efforts by attending.

Delightful! Not a bad seat in the house and a very talented cast.

Its a good time. The plays and most of the staff is done through volunteers. They have a wine and beer menu. My wife and I went to see A Trailer Park Musical there and the production, set, and actors were all good for a local show. The venue is a little small and seating is done by first come first serve basis. Parking can be slightly challenging as you have to find parking along public streets close by. Overall it was a good experience that Id recommend to others.

Weve lived in Jax for about 4 years and just found this theatre. We went and saw In the Heights with some friends and thought it was great. The caliber of the set design and the performers were above and beyond what you would expect at a community theatre. Its definitely worth checking out if youre in the area.

Small but a nice place.

I just saw A Seat At The Table, written by a local author. I really enjoyed it! The show was very well done, and the theater space was comfortable and nicely laid out. Absolutely would recommend.

This is a wonderful little theater with a small venue and a bit larger one that seats 150. The staff here couldnt be more welcoming, outgoing, and friendly. The choice of plays is excellent as are the actors.

I was absolutely surprised in a good way by this theater. I totally did not expect such high caliber performances in Jacksonville being raised surrounded by many professional theaters in Russia. I have gone back to Players by the Sea a few times since, and every single time, I enjoy it. Trust me, you will love it.P.S. take you date there and you will score triple points ;)

The show was good. It’s nice to have a place for young actors to craft their art. The building is in need of modernization.

Wonder and intimate community theatre right by the ocean. Very convenient for beaches residents. Nearby restaurants makes for an entertaining evening experience.

We loved the experience of being so close to the stage that you feel like you are part of the action. Definitely coming back again!

Small local theatre company stages professional-level productions of occasionally edgy fare. Everything weve seen here has been superb particularly the musicals. Be sure and read the reviews beforehand if you are unsure if a given play will appeal to you or not. This aint Disney folks, this is mostly for grown-ups, a diverse and highly literate Jax Beach crowd.

Have seen two productions the last season. PBTS is known for staging unique, shows that arent know to the theater community at large. Both the productions that I saw was top-notch, professional, and thought provoking. I plan to attend more of their productions.

This is the best community theatre in Jax. They offer so many musicals and plays that at least once per season, there will be a show to interest you. Ive performed there, worked there, and seen alot of shows there and I will always go back because I love it.
