Deck the chairs was beautiful. We had a great time also learned a lot about the trash that hurts our environment. They made such beautiful artwork of all kinds of things! Its a great place to bring the younger kids for fun and pictures!

Love how they used recycled plastic for their Christmas display! Bet it looks beautiful lit up at night!

Whats not to love .Ok so to be fair there are a couple local beach bummers that need removed but other than that its the ocean love it.I could spend hours hear and cry like a kid told no in a candy store when i have to leave.Absolutely beautiful.

I did a nice walk with my dogs, there tons of construction going on right now and several homeless people out there but other than that it was a nice walk about. The beach is always nice to enjoy as well

I liked the fact that parking is free Mon-Thu, lot is kept clean and has lots of spots available with only a short walk to the beach.

It seems you cant sit anywhere.without being harresd by police.

Jax Beach: Deck the Chairs. Pretty cool, and the soft fuzzy snowball fight was inspired.10/10 will do again.

Tuba Christmas has moved to Seawalk Pavilion as part of Deck the Chairs. The weather was beautiful and the bandshell made for a great performance. These free community events are great for all ages, and extremely peaceful if you show up a little early.

Me and friends had a blast the hour i stayed from 12-1pm, i might even return later to recieve some more Jesus. The Calvary Chapel Band was well prepared in so many different ways. Thank You Jesus. Amen.

Great place to go to the beach. The shops leave a bit to be desired. Our son enjoyed the Christmas decorations.

This beach is so clean and well maintained, or could use some picnic tables though

Great place to take a walk with your pet, your loved one, or family and enjoy the sights and sounds of jax beach. The various festivals are always a great treat. The grass in the area is smooth and soft enough to teach my son to ride his bike. It was a good place for him to fall without getting hurt! During the times when theres no organized activities its great for sitting and letting the toddlers run around and burn some energy for free!!

Great amphitheater for tuba Christmas. Plenty of reasonable coffee and lunch or dinner walking distance of each other.

Great place for concerts and community festivals. Parking can be challenging, so consider walking or taking public transportation venue had plenty of room for larger crowds tipp spread out. Being close top beach and ocean is nice.Be sure to bring a chair and water bottle. No water bottle filling stations though.Port-a-johns seem to be only toilet options.Plenty of bars and food available in immediate area.

This such a cool place to take the family. Right on the beach and tons of cool stores and great restaurants/ bars. Live music on weekends at some of the restaurants.

Great space for so many different events. We were here for the DSAJ Buddy Walk and the space was perfect for the event.

Very interesting, easy to walk around, parking was within walking distance. Very nice informational experience!!

They seem to have a lot of events here over time. I stoped by last year around Christmas time and they were decorating life guard chairs with Christmas themed elements which they called Deck the Chairs. I believe this is an annual event. I have seen other concerts and events here over time. Hey you cannot go wrong it is right next to the beach and free parking most of the time right next to it. Go live a little and check it out.

We attended Franklin Grahams Evangelical Event here last Sat. It was an outstanding and blessed time in a fantastic venue!

Great shows with a great view! Its nice that you can watch most shows here for free, unless you want to pay a nominal fee to be able to see everything up close.

Should have vender trucks especially when events are being held. Needs more stop and go eating places instead of sit down but nice place

Outstanding Christmas decorations and lights.

Great place to enjoy the beach as well as good food and adult beverages. Free parking is available if you can find a spot or plenty of spaces available in the pay lot $3 for 2hours and...up to $7 for all day parking. Also great entertainment at the band shell from time to time...

Nice oceanfront setting. Attended IU Pep Rally for TaxSlayer Gator Bowl at this venue. Superb setting for this event.

We shared a revival with Franklin Graham and a few thousand of our Jacksonville neighbors.

Great please for a music festival. Blues festival was very nice....Could use a few more restrooms close to the main stage area. Maybe they were there & I just missed them.....

Eclectic shops and lovely beach atmosphere. Plan to come early to snag parking and enjoy the stay!

Loved walking around the pier and down near the pavilion! Im in a wheelchair so I appreciate the amount of accessibility put into the area. Saw lots of closed/under construction buidings surrounding the pavilion so thats the only reason for the 4 star instead of 5..

Visited for the Blues Festival. We try to make it every year. Great time for the whole family. I missed the fortune teller though

Deck the Chairs is a feast for the eyes

Its great if there is a show. Check schedules and go. If there is no show its not great, but the beach and bars restaurants etc are worth a trip here any time

Was here for a Jacksonville Humane Society event. They have events almost weekly and even deck the chairs in the winter. A great area for something to do on weekends.

Great location for beach side fun. The Christmas lights exhibit was top notch.

Bruval festival was great. Music bands were good. Had a great time...

First time to see Deck The Chairs. Sadly, some were knocked over by wind and not repaired. Best was the display made of recyclable materials; the jellyfish were outstanding as tentacles were made from long plastic tubes filled with clear plastic water bottles. Powerful statement, well executed.

They have movies on the beach outside on Friday nights in the summer and they have festivals all the time almost every weekend in the summer and for the festivals they have bounce houses and stuff for the kids great music food trucks with great food and local restaurants that bringing food trucks for the events spun for everybody and free except for your beverages they sell beer and your food youll have to buy them from the trucks

Was out there for the blues festival. Great place for concerts. The sound was great, bands were good, plenty of food and drink with a chill atmosphere. Good times!

Music was great! It was a beautiful sight to see all ethnic people together in one place enjoying each others company. Also, there was total peace. And the security was amazing very safe and secure. The police presence was very comforting. Everyone involved in the event did a great job. The rides were a bonus I never actually went into the festival park that can see it all from the boardwalk I love that they added rides for the kids we needed that for them. And for once in many years I did not see any drunk individuals which made it for a really peaceful time for everybody especially for the families that want to bring those children and enjoy everything I dont ask that worried about drunk people because it used to be like that great job Jax Beach police for your presence and whoever else in our city council or the festival leaders for changing that aspect its good for our kids and our community.

Its hard to taste this venue becuz the Jacksonville beach police make it very difficult for friends and family to enjoy a weekend with out their targeting people around us and like bullys just pushing visitors around, making unnecessary threats..other than those 4 or 5 incidences we witnessed it was potentially a good venue and outdoor event

The sea and air ahow was awesome!! The BlueAngels were stunning and on point!!

This place was great. It was my first time at Jax Beach and we got to watch a free concert and view items from local vendors. Very nice, well kept area. We had a great time.

We came for the Deck the Chairs and it was an amazing little event for families to get together and see lights. Best of all you dont have many FREE events now a days and the parking was easy and accessible. Jacksonville Beach is really coming around again.

The only time its fun is for special events. Otherwise its just a big lawn to sit on

This was very nice and with live music. I found that my son loves rick N roll. There was food, music, and rides. We definitely enjoyed Seawalk Pavillions music feast.
