This place has the very best summer camp my children have ever been to. It was fun, exciting, and different every week. I spoke with the owner several times because I was concerned my son would not like it, but I was so wrong. She was very kind and patient with me!!!! He begged every day to go back all summer. The employees and management are the absolute best. We are already counting down the days until next summer. Thank you all for making such a tough summer so wonderful for the kids in Jax Beach!

We absolutely love Beaches Gymnastics!! The coaches are wonderful and the facility is awesome! It’s become a second home for our daughter, and she loves being there practicing her skills and enjoying her teammates and coaches.

We have been at Beaches Gymnastics since 2012 and it keeps getting better, they are always making improvements. The new facility it awesome with plenty of space and equipment that is kept clean. It’s easy for them to do social distancing. Staff is friendly and supportive. I really like during meeting that the girls alway get a hug after each event no matter how they did. This is more like a family than a place of business!

I am so impressed with the way we have been treated here! This is by far the most professional place for gymnastics in town. My child learns so much more here than they ever have before. It is a little more expensive than our last gym, but it is well worth it! I guess you get what you pay for!! We have enjoyed every second and hope to add classes this summer.

Ive been bringing my 4 children every single day for years. Beaches is the most amazing place for children. All the staff are trained incredibly well and my kids are always improving. I have a toddler who attends the preschool class and this is the most age appropriate activity we have found. The patience her instructor has is incredible! I have a boy in the recreational program and he absolutely begs to come to all the open gyms. This is much better than jumpstreet because these are full time coaches who have been trained for years. I have two daughters on the team, and one has done incredibly well and the other is starting to find her stride. There has been something for each of them all along. I appreciate the individualized instruction and how hard the owner has worked to develop their confidence. This is also the cleanest gym I have ever walked into! 10 stars from our family.

Everything about this gym is amazing! The coaches are all so professional and work great with the kids. My daughter has learned so much in the past few months and LOVES going to gymnastics. We are so happy to be apart of such a wonderful gym. :)

My daughter has been at Beaches Gymnastics for 5 years and she has had a great experience. The coaches are top notch, the owner is well versed in safety and the gym is a brand new, beautiful facility. Great place from beginning gymnastics to high level competition gymnastics.

We are loving summer camp at Beaches Gymnastics! My daughter is so excited to go each day and is always eager to share with us what she has learned at camp. Looking forward to joining the Beaches family for regular season gymnastics in the fall.

I took my daughters, who have gone to this gym for 2 years, to an open gym night on a Friday. My youngest daughter did not feel good about an hour in so asked to call me. The girl in charge gave her the phone, but had the wrong number on it. She noticed and showed her older sister who told the girl it was the wrong number. The girl forced my sick, 6 year old daughter to leave a message on this number. When I showed up an hour later my daughter was in tears. I confronted the girl and she said they definitely called me and left a message. I told her that nobody called me and showed her my call log, she refused to do the same. I went outside to talk to my daughters as they told me it was the wrong number. So I went back in to confront her about it. Since she is insists my girls are lieing. Another girl who worked there approached me defending the girl, in a very rude manner. So now we have 2 college girls calling a 6 and 8 years old liars for being wrong about the call. I tell them what I think of them and leave.I email the owner and “she is going to take care of it” after getting audio/video of that day when she gets back from vacation. Yes, these are the girls in charge while she is gone! Obsurd. After 19 days of waiting for a reply from the owner I decided to email her back. She admits the girls were wrong and my girls were right, they were forced to call the wrong number while sick. I never once received an apology from the owner. She claimed I pushed a young girl while in there, which I told her that the girls name was Lily and she is my daughters best friend and that is a lie. Since she was the only kid in there after going back in... Her dad, who I know was right there. So more lies, but from the owner. She also claimed I swore while in there so was banned from coming back!!! I swear all the time and is part of my lingo for 30 plus years, but was proud of myself for actually not at them. I recall it well, was kinda surprised that I did not, even tho I was livid at how these girls treated my sick 6 year oand 8 year old this way. So the owner is lieing again. She refused to show me tape or audio and said to contact her lawyer. The worker also talked down to my girls like trash while waiting for me. Asking “are you gonna be the one who cleans up puike??? Then I will puike.... are you gonna clean mine up too?”This place used to have wonderful teachers and atmosphere, but that went downhill fast. My girls want nothing to do with the slow-paced, boring hour they are there also, so no loss for us. But beware of a careless owner leaving poor workers in charge when out of town.I don’t post reviews on google much, since I used an other site years back.... this is an old account but I felt people needed know the behind the scenes. When parents leave their kids alone here. Not a safe or comfy atmosphere when parents aren’t around. Careless management leads to poor employees.

We have been members for almost a year and are happy with Beaches Gymnastics. My daughter loves going there and looks forward to it weekly!!!

Can’t give this place enough stars! The coaches are all so good with the kids and are really excellent about pushing them as well as making sure they’re still having fun. The facility is always clean and maintained and the two viewing windows are perfect to keep an eye on your little one if you decide to stay and watch their class. Highly recommend!

These people truly care about children. My daughter has gained so much confidence since coming to Beaches. The coaches are always smiling and kind. They always have time to answer my questions. I highly recommend.

Best kids activity at the Beaches. My daughter loves it, and I have never been treated so well. My daughter has been coming here for three months, and she is not the most talented athlete so no other sport wanted her. We have tried lots of other sports to no avail. Beaches Gymnastics immediately treated my child like she was important, they made good recommendations, and took the time to evaluate my child. She has learned so much, but most importantly we have found her new home away from home.

My child has been a gymnast since kindergarten. When we moved to the beach from Fleming Island, Beaches Gymnastics was recommended to us, and Im so glad! The atmosphere for team gymnasts is caring and supportive, and the emphasis is on excellence, not medals or podiums. The coaches promote teamwork and training, always with an eye on the bigger picture, which we appreciate.Communication is timely, appropriate, professional, and friendly. There are many recreational, mommy and me, and tumbling classes for anyone who wants to up their cheer game, but its also a serious gym, for serious gymnasts. Were moving next spring, and the coaches are working on making sure my gymnast is competitive with the larger club she will be joining in South Florida. Our experience with this gym has been nothing but positive.Two years ago, my child was injured during training, which can happen in ANY sport. The coaching staff handled it brilliantly, like the true professionals they are. Their first priority is safety, and this was made clear in how they handled the situation.All in all, I would unhesitatingly recommend Beaches to anyone looking for a gym to develop physically as well as mentally.

My son and daughter love it here. It is their favorite after school activity. Friendly staff, good prices, and everyone is always smiling.

We travel often from Alabama to visit family in Jacksonville and regret having our daughter miss days or weeks at a time from our home gym when we do come visit. Beaches Gymnastics came highly recommended after doing some research and asking locals in the area about finding a second home facility to supplement when we visit two years ago. We scheduled to have our daughter attend a trial class, and then scheduled subsequent drop-in sessions throughout the year so she can continue to train even when we are on vacation. After just her first class, she brought home new skills and the confidence to keep her pressing forward, even showing her coaches back home enough to promote to the next level much earlier than we expected! We now plan to send our daughter for extended visits, especially during the summer and winter breaks from school, instead of just a handful of drop-in sessions throughout the year when we are in the area. Our little gymnast always looks forward to vacation gymnastics so she can go home and show off her new skills and even help mentor the others back home!

We have only being going to this gymnastics center for a couple months, but it is easy to see all the instructors do a good job with the kids. I have found the school to be flexible in working with my attendance days, and no matter what evening I take my daughter, the instructors are high quality given the age of my child(5 years old). Very age appropriate instruction in my case and knowing how to deal with 5 year olds could not be better. This place has surpassed any of my expectations for beginner level gymnastics instruction for my daughters situation. As long as my girl wants to continue with gymnastics, this will be the place we go.

Its great that you can use a 0 rating now because the owners are zeros. Instructors arent skilled enough to coach competitive girls & arent patient enough for girls just learning.Owner is a real piece of work also. We signed a one year contract at $60/month. After the school year I approached him & said we going to do some traveling, could we take July & August off & come back when school started. He said that was fine. After a month I got a bill with a late fee. When I called to remind him of our conversation he said that wasnt his policy & he didnt remember the FACE to FACE conversation that we had!After sharing my displeasure with the situation & really the overall experience with the gym he said my daughter really wasnt that good anyway. Really dude? Shed been there 4 months and had 3 different instructors including a very nice but unqualified older man in his 60s. My kid is there to try & learn otherwise why do I pay you?He said he was going to send me to collections & we never went back.Stay away, do a little research on your own & find a place better. I did.

Owners and trainers are rude. They fire staff via Facebook and claim they were inappropriate with the children when the coaches themselves are mean to the athletes. If they claim the staff are inappropriate I wonder if the trainers are. Accuse someone but they themselves are guilty. Gross. Dirty gym.

First let me say that my child loved this place and had a good time there. That being said, there were instances where we felt my child was not being watched; the most recent one resulted in us cancelling our membership and not returning to this location. Recently our child went to the bathroom and did not tell the instructors. Because she didnt tell them, she went to the front bathroom which is out front and has direct access to the public. She was in there for a long time with no oversight, and was even yelling for help at one point. We came back to pick up our child, only to find our child in the bathroom with the lights off. Anyone could have walked in from the street, we felt that could have led to a very dangerous situation. Thankfully it didnt, but that lack of oversight was very concerning. I expressed my concern to one of the managers and she was very sincere, concerned and committed to fixing the problem with new policy. She apologized greatly for what had happened, refunded my money, and committed to me in changing the policy so there was oversight for the kids.

My daughter started gym when she was 5. She learned the basics and progressed as far as she could go at the gym she was at. Thats when we met the staff at Beaches Gymnastics. My daughter learned more in one summer than I could ever imagine. I wasnt sure how she would like being pushed the way that she was and the amount of hours that were required by the new coaches BUT SHE LOVED IT! They get to know each child, their strengths/weaknesses, and their personalities. She has been with them now for 3 years and has grown tremendously. They know exactly how she operates and when to back off. She spends roughly 25 hours a week at the gym and hates to miss one single second. The coaches are very well educated and are qualified to do what they do. Go to any competition and the majority of the girls on the podium are wearing turquoise and black (Beaches), no matter what level you watch. We drive an hour and a half one way 4 times a week to get our daughter to gym- that says it all.Yes, the waiting room is small and the veiwing windows arent huge but, your child is there to learn gymnastics, and need as little distractions as possible. If youre looking for a gym thats the real deal without all of the fluff, Beaches Gymnastics is your place!

The staff is not friendly and are not willing to work with your child. My daughter had a trial class here and when we first got there it wasnt any staff members present to greet us I mean nobody was out front so we waited a bit til I finally opened the door to where the classes were being held and finally someone saw me holding my daughters hand and said Ill take her over whats her name? I told the lady and she walked her over. Then I walked myself back out the door. I mean nobody asked any information about my child so they can have background information about her. So during the the class I watched my daughter and she did awesome for it to be her first class ever!!! Afterwards when the class was finished the door opens up to one of the managers and she didnt say hi how are you, thank you for coming, my name is..., she didnt say anything to me but loudly in front of everyone she says well how old is your Daugher I told her then shes like well we had issues with her communication she wasnt really communicating with her coach and we have no doubt that she can do it physically but she wasnt verbal enough that caught me off guard I mean its her first class kids get shy . Anyways since I wasnt very pleased with this place from how they handled things in the very beginning I told her its okay Ill take her somewhere else. I took my daughter to North florida gymnastics and let me tell you this place is much more professional and have way better facilities. They said my daughter was amazing and she did just fine her first class.beaches gymnastics is cheaper I will say that much but you definitely get what you pay for. And at North florida they have a bigger viewing room free WiFi and family oriented. Beaches gymnastics has old dirty plastic chairs to sit in and two very small viewing windows the facility is also really small. At North florida my Daugher was greeted by happy smiling staff who took her hand and walked her to her class and made sure she knew where to go and where to put her belongings. Nothing like my experience at Beaches gymnastics.
