Out of the way but easy to see and get to from the main road. Not crowded. There is a small bathroom that looks nice but I didnt go inside to check. There are pavilions that youre supposed to reserve ahead of time.It is very spacious, the grass is lush, there are shade trees and charming old school playground equipment around.The only problem was that there was a little garbage. Nothing big, just a wrapper here and a cigarette butt there.

Our Family Reunion has been held at Rod Mills Park for the last 12 years. Because of the beautiful secluded area and the large covered Pavilion with picnic tables and electric outlets and running water! Plenty of parking (one of our long distance relatives drives their motorhome). A small playground, basketball court and baseball (or kickball) area and a horseshoe pit (bring your own horse shoes). You must reserve the Pavilion early (an unrefundable deposit of $100 is required). *We reserve ours in February to have it available on the first Saturday in July. *Weve learned from experience! But, Ive also learned that the smaller area with picnic tables is first come/first served, no reservation is required. Go check it out.... Youll be glad you did.

Spacious and clean. Great place to take my dog for a run.

They have really cleaned up this park,my family really likes to go there.

A nice park. Three picnic shelters that can be reserved, but you have to do so in person and for cash at the township office. One slide, some swings, and a merry-go-round for kids. Two porta-potties. One short trail that we could find, kind of overgrown. Plenty of parking. The setting is good with lots of trees around the perimeter. A few ballfields and what looks to be a soccer field.

There was a lot of trash laying around... should have more trash cans around the park. Otherwise, it was fine.

This is a big park but not enough playground equipment in my opinion. So much can be done to this park to make it Great. Its the only park in the Northwest Jackson area thats closest for families to go to.

We had a really good time here

Mostly clean park. Has slide and other things for kids. Even has baseball field. Has bbq areas and an area under a roof with picnic tables.
