Kids will loved this aquatic center, just get apropied swimming clothes, so you can swim or wont let you dive in.

My sons love the water bucket at the top that gets full the pour the water on the kids below. If you live in Irving adults are $3 kids are $2. I came labour day and had to pay $7 for 1 adult and 2 kids. I believe kids under 2 are free, my assumption tho. Gotta have on a swim suit and if your child is under 7yrs old they must be accompanied by an adult at all times in the water. So, that means you and the Child has to have on a swim suit. The concession stand was OK but over priced. $2.50 for a hot dog, really guys?! 90% of the employees are teenagers so good luck finding and adult wen theres a serious issue

I got here at 7 and they were already closed. Online it says the close at 8 which is a lie. The place is really small compared to what the pics look like. I guess it’s ok for the price of you live in the area but if you don’t save the drive and go elsewhere.

Fun place to take the kids. The lockers were out of order so there was no place to put our things. At one point they made everyone get out of the water for about 10 minutes or so without explanation but other then that the kids enjoyed themselves.

Pool water is nasty and murky. Staff is alright. Its over crowded. Bathrooms are hardly cleaned. It does have good shade spots to sit. Ill let them have that. Though they should be consistent with their own rules on themselves not just to patrons. If you can tell someone to not use profanity because its a family facility, then it should apply to staff as well.

Its a nice little water park, just to crowded for me . Thats my opinion. But all in all nice little water park for the low price.

Talk about a WASTE OF MONEY! first off. Their website is misleading on prices. It says ages and have the price $2-$3. Then at the VERY bottom it says nonresident. Not that it even says $2-$3 residents. So that we get there thinking it’s going to be $2-$3 per person. It ends up being $8 per person. And the kids are 7 and 5. And they have to wear these yellow wrist bands that means that you as the adult can’t just merely watch them. But you have to be there at ARMS REACH. even in the 1 foot deep splash zone. Weren’t allowed to go on the rockwall because they didn’t take a swim test. Even with me there and one has a life vest on.What are the lifeguards being paid for? To sit on their butts and blow their whistles at every little thing.Don’t waste your afternoon or more time. It’s not worth it. They have so many rules that it is not even fun at that point.Definitely will just keep going to the Epic, such a better place.Crappiest aquatic center I have EVER been too.

I really love this place, but why is a 45 minute long break necessary? I think it should be 15 minutes. Overall, I love this place.

Yes the lifeguards are kind of rude. But I imagine they get tired of babysitting everyones kids while in the hotass sun. This facility is cheap, fun, and relatively clean. I dont know what the rest of you expect for about $4 a person. Come here if you want a cheap, fun experience with your kids. Dont come here if you take things too personal because chances are a lifeguard will say something to your kid if you arent watching your kid.

Lots to do, very cheap can bring own food, good people work here BUT the water is not clear. Probably because people dont rinse before getting in pool. You pay and walk directly into pool area. Im from the North and every pool I have been in up there you have to pay THEN walk through shower areas. Water always looked cleaner. People rinse off please we will all be healthier if you do

I love this place, we went there today with my 3 kids. If ur Irving residents kids is only $2 and adult is only $3. thats pretty cheap. My kids have much fun. The water is clean. They have a lot of lifeguard that watching us. And speaking of lifeguard, their lifeguard is so helpful. Im having hard time bringing all my stuff to the car and alot of them offered their help.i highly recommend this water park, its very accessible..

If I could rate this location with a “zero” I would! Today, 7.26.19, we attended the FragilX private event from 10am - 12pm. Keep in mind this is a private event for children with a or multiple DISABILITIES. The life guards including the manager were rude and treated everyone with disrespect.1. The children could not swim in all pools or areas.2. The children could not swim against the current.3. Food had to be out of site.4. Life guards and manager said, there were new rules. Rules are posted and there were NO NEW SIGNS.I could go on and on. Again, the children In attendance have DISABILITIES they do not understand and some like the sensory they on the lazy river to go against the current, reason we reserve this place for a private event.Because they are disable they are all times with an adult (parent).If you do not welcome people with disabilities to the West Irving Aquatic Center please post it somewhere in your facility! And if you do train your life guards to treat your visitors with respect and accordingly to the disability they have.Another thing, the life guards do not look old enough or with the proper training to save anyone’s life in case of an emergency!

Took my kids here and had a really great time. They have a water slide for kids taller than 48 inches, a slide for toddlers, and a wading pool. Just a few tips: 1. You can bring a cooler and snacks. They have a concession stand, but youll do better bringing your own. 2. If you dont live in Irving it will cost a little more to enter. We had a great day

Probably a 4.5, but its pretty nice overall. Snack shop, 2 waterslides, lazy river. You could do a lot worse.

Great place for my grandson and his Posey to cool off and stay away from trouble

Small and very well life guarded. They were posted about every ten feet.Irving residents pay $5. Non residents pay $8 even if not swimming.$5.00 cooler entrance fee, which is cheaper than other places. No bottles, no alcohol and something else I cannot remember.Concession stand is clean and reasonably priced, but you can bring in your own drinks in plastic or cans and your own food.

Affordable for the family, lifeguards on duty and attentive, snack shop on site, do have to bring approved swim wear, does get packed inside if trying to find a quick spot to lay your personal items. They do have restrooms with private showering area as well life vests.

My family and I enjoy visiting this aquatic center. It’s relaxing. It’s small but enough for my daughters to have a great time without me loosing site of where they are. The kiddy pool is shaded and perfect for my 2 year old son.

My family and I love this pool. They have two good-sized slides and a lazy river-style pool, with a cool play area for older little kids. They also have a really cool baby pool. My family of three and can spend all day here for only $5. You cant beat that.The lifeguards are, for the most part, attentive and polite.

Its I nice pool to take your family and friends. Theres an area for young children another for slightly olderchildren,two waterslides, rockclimbing and a lazy river for thy he price you pay to get in its worth it

Its great for what it is: an inexpensive, local place for the kids to cool down and have some summer fun. Very clean facilities, friendly staff, options for the littlest kids through adolescents. Cheap snacks too!

I like that theres life guards around pool areas.it makes a parent like my self feel more secure with my children.You muat wear swim attire. Bags with food are allowed but there will be a fee in entrance. No glass containers are allowed whatsoever.

An excellent little water park

My children and I loved this place on my off days. Its a great place to kool off during hot summer days. They provide life jackets and have plenty of lifeguards. My children also enjoyed watching the huge turtles in the creek below the bridge you have to cross from the parking area. For the price this place is a great family outing.

Nice place but the rules are just ridiculous, and suck all the fun out of the day.Strict dress code rules, if youre under 17, you have to pass a swim test to swim in the deep pool. Life jackets arent allowed in the deep pool.Theres a rock climbing wall in the water and only one person can climb at once, even though there are four full size panels.You just hear whistles all day over rules being broken that dont make any sense.Not coming back again.

Always have a blast my daughter and I when we go here! As long as you have an Irving drivers license and or Irving ID if not it will cost you an arm and a leg to get in! The one time that it is a plus to be an Irving Texas resident...lol

My kids love this water park!

This our go to summer waterpark and it is very relaxing.The lazy river can get a little crowded on Fridays and weekends, since this is the closest waterpark for South Irving residents.Weve been coming here for the past 10 years. But just be mindful that they do check for proper swimwear.They have a concession stand, ice machine and they do accept ice coolers.Call ahead to find out extra detailed info.Other than that, great for the whole family and a great way to beat the Texas heat.

A surprising place for Irving. Not affiliated with the city pools such as Senter. You have to pay separate membership fee or daily assurance fee.

Its kinda small compared to Hurricane Harbor and Hawaiin Falls, but its perfect for a good place to beat the heat and just chill. The lazy river can get crowded and you can keep an eye on your kids from every angle of the park. Very good for a waterpark in the middle of residential Irving. Just be aware that they do enforce proper swimwear after youve paid and youre inside the park.

Very small, very busy most if not all of the time due to they allow other cities to come for an extra charge. So many rules, I just dont understand why they build it so small, I get it was funded by the city but honestly if it was at least double the size I wouldnt mind one bit paying double the price. Youre better off going to Hurricane Harbor.

I was just there. They told us to pay and we asked the lady what time they closed and she said 7:15.. we were there at 6:53. Seemed off they were trying to make us pay to swim for 15 minutes so i called and asked what time they closed they said 8. I told the “supervisor” what happened and she basically said I was lying. The lifeguards arent rude but these two ladies.. very rude. These the kind of attitudes we have to represent Irving?

This looked like a neat pool but I couldnt believe after a half an hour of swimming they noticed my boys shorts didnt have an inner lining so they were not counted as swim trunks, and we all got kicked out of the pool! Very stupid reason in my opinion, after they charged us 8$ Per person (we have a large family:)

The center is worth 5 stars, but they need to save, maintain and clean the brook between the parking lot and center. especially for animals that live there. Rest, amazing place for kids or family!!! good price for entry, life guard, food service, toilets and bathrooms all are well

First of all the life guards are to busy talking and flirting; but then turn to scream at kids. Every time I go to try and give them another chance I always leave mad although the kids love it which is really the only reason i do go,but the kids really dont know any better! They dont even deserve the one star

Im a traveler with work. My son is on the road with me, and try to get him out and about locally! He loves pools! This place was great and my son enjoyed the pool and slides! It was a slow day! So, not too many people! If you arent a resident than youll have to pay an $8 fee per person plus the admissions! Just wished that every city I ride through has such facilities too!

Really good place for relax

Nice place to take the kids to swim and play in the water, HOWEVER, the lifeguards are the reason I do not plan to go back. These cocky teenagers were very rude to my family and I and one in particular yelled at my nephew who has special needs. Management needs to seriously reconsider hiring new staff there before they have bigger issues to deal with in the future.

The pool itself is very nice! While at the pool someone stole my nike slides! I told staff and asked could they look at cameras to see who did it because I live out of town and needed my shoes but they said no and were very rude and selfish about the entire situation! So I basically had to go home barefoot smh!

Not enough sitting with tables, but enough chairs. Perfect spot to chill with kids and family!

Fantastic place to bring kids and a wonderful price. For parents of young kids they have a shaded splash area that is a ton of fun for young kids.

Very small water park. The only thing about this place is that their are so many DUMB rules. For instance I have to get off the water slide from a certain side. Who cares what side I get off on!!! And then I like my little girls to dress modest, so why isnt my girls rash guard swim attire not okay unless they have another swimsuit underneath. Way tooooo strict in my opinion.

Packed on the holiday weekend, but the price is right and the kid has fun.

Its definitely good if you have kids, however. If you are grown up or have teen. Avoid it, there is no real place to swim, they have two water slides which are a plus. One lazy river, 3ft pool area and play area for toddlers. They have a 6ft pool, but you cant really swim on it because they dont let you hang on to the walls. So if you get tired, then youre supposed to drown?

This water park is good, not the the best though. If you are trying to have a good evening with the family this park will do. The hours that its open are wrong online, I think they close at 8:00 PM in the weekends.

Attend a birthday party several life guards rude picking on kids would not let them enjoy their swimming. Then 10 mins till 11:00pm they closed the restrooms and didnt allow anyone to change and very rude to us. Everyone was soak and wet and the lifeguards just laughing and rushing us. I always attended parties there several times never had problems. But this time was very unsatisfied and treated rudely by the lifeguards and management.

When my family went there there was a female employee that decides whether you swim or not based off of what youre wearing and if youre wearing a shorts and tank-top, youre considered as not able to swim in that when we saw PLENTY of people wearing a tank-top and shorts. The female employee shouldve thought twice before judging because if youre wearing a tank-top and shorts to swimming, youre likely wearing something underneath. But besides that, the overall the water activities were great, you do get what you paid for.

I went to the aquatic center yesterday, it is closed.and I can not find the reason. and another familly also talked with me about this aquatic center. they should updated status or post warning messages on the wall. it really waste my time.

I went to the park last week with my 5 year old grandson and thought this was a great place for kids. They have a variety of water spaces designed for different age levels. There is an 8 years and under pool that has a toy in the center (kind of) and a slide. This area is completely covered so tender baby skin is protected. Then there is the main area with a play area and a moving water area. You just kind of go with the flow (pun intended) The play area has a slide and a huge bucket that fills with water and spills out and gets you really soaked if you happen to be standing underneath. There is also a smaller bucket that kids can fill with a rope pull and then spill on any willing grandma or parent who would be willing to stand underneath. There is also a regular swimming pool where adults can swim without children and very large slides for teens, well actually anyone over a certain height. They do have a concession stand with prices that I consider high but less than the movie theatres. We are planning our next trip and taking a picnic with us as there are tables and chairs in a covered area. I see that one Daquarious Smith is complaining about not being able to wear shorts. I can only assume that this young man wanted to wear the kind of shorts with lots of pockets where you can hide lots of items. I think they are very lenient on what you can wear and I saw lots of heavy ladies wearing shorts and tops. I actually noticed lots of kids wearing shorts but regular shorts and they were allowed to use life saving floats and even the odd toy seemed to be allowed. As I am a senior there was no charge so it was a $2 day for me. We look forward to our next trip.

I LOVED IT!!! we got there a little late at 7:00 so they let us go for free, i made a new friend and i got dunked by that big bucket thing!! there was a lazy river and so much more fun stuff, my dad didnt swim but he told me it already looked fun, but there is only one problem when they shouted POOL CLOSED!! i couldnt go to the bathroom to change they already started cleaning so i had to change in the car, that was so annoying, but overall i loved it!!

We attended West Irving Aquatics Swimming Pool located on Conflans road for the first time and as a black first time visitor it was a horrible experience for me, my child, and my extended family. Before we attended the center we made sure to read the rules online to assure as black people we did not violate any rules, however, even following the rules wasnt enough. One of my relatives who is also an army veteran wore her army swim attire to the pool which was covered by a tank top. Upon entering the center we all were very visible in our swim attire, we made sure everyone was dressed appropriately, and nothing was said to us by two cashiers about our attire except your fee is non-refundable. We all went in put all of our items in a locker that were not appropriate for swimming, about 20 minutes into playing with our children a Hispanic female lifeguard approached us and said that my aunt could not be in the pool with her top on over her swim attire, we asked why and was not given an explanation. We than began to point out several other whites and Hispanics who also were wearing puma t-shirts, a Hispanic kid was seen swimming in an air Jordan t-shirt, another Hispanic female was seen swimming in an Aeropostale t-shirt, based in the rules none of those items are considered swim attire. I then asked why are they allowed to swim in t-shirts and she stated because they have swim attire under the shirt, however, they did not. As we packed our things to depart I asked the cashier at the desk for contact information for the supervisor and she then stated for what reason, I explained the incident and she rudely stated we are trained to identify whats appropriate and whats not appropriate. Obviously not! And she refused to give us the information.
