Had a company event here and our coach/instructor James was more than helpful when it came to teaching!One thing that we worried about was how clean it would be, because well... COVID... but upon entering the facility, everything was exceptionally clean! They even had someone cleaning the self-serve beer area every 15-20 minutes! Overall, it was a great experience and we will DEFINITELY be back! :)

This was my favorite night in Irving! It was safe with great instruction, but more importantly the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming! I highly recommend this spot! Hailey (beautiful lady in plaid, so sorry if we didnt get your name right!) deserves a dang raise for putting up with us! Also, she helped this lumberjacks daughter hit the bullseye!

First time axe throwing and it was fun! Shy was a great coach and had us hitting the bullseye quick! There is plenty of space and the lanes are set up for quality social distancing fun. James was fun and very engaging and made the experience more personal and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend getting the game pass and taking advantage of some of the extras they have to offer as well. We will be back!

We went with girlfriends on a Saturday afternoon. Dress comfy, you can really get a workout! This place was so fun. The beer wall also had Cider and seltzer on tap. James was an excellent host. We ordered food from one of the places near by which was tasty and convenient. Definitely want to come back.

I had a great time at Stumpy’s. James was very friendly and willing to provide tips throughout our session. The facility is well laid out and groups can be easily spread out, which made me more comfortable. It was a great way to change things up on date night! Will definitely be back.

We had so much fun at Stumpy’s last night. We had a group of six that have never thrown ax’s before. The staff was extremely helpful as well as very supportive. I would highly recommend this experience. If you get the chance, I would highly recommend playing tic-tac-toe against Shy. She took me down last night, but I’m coming for you again.

This Thursday evening we took a trip to Irving Texas to visit Stumpys Hatchet House Toyota Music Factory. The venue is beautiful; very spacious and super clean. They have a beer wall that offers tons of local beers and other favorites. We were greeted by our axe coach Soy and she walked us through the safety rules and demonstrated the proper way to throw. She was very attentive and took great care of us. James was also on hand to give us some background on Stumpys and made us feel right at home. Great experience and definitely recommend you stop by if you are in the area!

Stopped in at Stumpys on a whim to work off some election night steam... Had a blast. Really cool system for self-serve beers, friendly staff, and... You know... Axes!

We took a large group to Stumpys, and had an absolute blast. The staff was very attentive, especially Brooklyn who went way above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. We will definitely be back, and hopefully get her to put up with us again.

This place was great!I went with 3 coworkers for an event put on by a vendor. None of us had done this before. Within a few minutes Emily had us all hitting the target.We are planning to go back with more people.

We went to Stumpys on Saturday afternoon to escape the heat and had a blast! Our coach, James, was so friendly and willing to help us learn how to throw the axe and teach us different techniques. We were told it gets busy on Friday and Saturday nights but we were the only ones there in the afternoon and had a a great time. They have other fun games (like cornhole, jenga, and beer pong) and have beers on tap that you can pour yourself. We were also told you can bring in food (check out Resevoir across the street!). Great place for groups of any size. We will for sure be back!

Went there for Father’s Day with my wife and daughter, not knowing what to expect. We had the time of our life! Staff was professional, knowledgeable and spent as much time as necessary on safety and technique. Beer selection was great and cold. Facility was clean, neat and organized. COVID-19 practices were in full effect. Having your own “stall” offered plenty of social distancing. I would highly recommend Stumpy’s for anything from a date to a team outing to a family get-together for a great time!

Ive been with Stumpys as an employee since the very beginning, and I can honestly say its been the best job Ive ever had! Its been an amazing journey getting to grow and meet some of the coolest guests who are willing to learn and are not afraid of having a good time! Absolutely love the concept...Sally was a great host, and Patrick was a really fun instructor (even though he was Navy and i was Army, we still got along well). The self-serve beer on tap was especially fun and novel concept. Everyone in our group had a blast. By the end of our session we were fairly consistently hitting bulls-eyes, so don’t worry if you’re not good at first...we weren’t either. We are definitely going to go again before/after shows. (Really love the entire area by Toyota now)

Hubbs and I had a great time for Date Night! Played an hour of axe throwing then hung out playing the other games they have. Music was great! LOVED that we poured our own beers. Our coach (Cheyenne?) was great and checked on us often. Well def be back!

This is a great way to spend an hour or two! I was nervous at first since Ive never thrown an axe before, but it was freaking awesome! The self serve beer taps are icy cold! A nice alternative to arm day at the gym. =)Tip: Once you throw the axe, dont take your eyes off of it until it stops. If youre throwing hard it can bounce off the wall back at you. I had to dodge and jump a few until I got the hang of it.

This place is a playground for adults. The staff is incredibly friendly, and James is the coolest instructor that you should be looking for! Plenty of drinks on tap, axe throwing boards, darts, and more! Our squad had way too much fun over here. Great place if you’re looking for something to do over the weekend, highly recommend.

Went for the first time for a friends birthday. Had such an awesome time. The instructor was really clear on the rules and showed us how to throw the axe. I think we went over our hour but they still let us throw. The inside is really clean and you can play other games such as cornhole, darts, and beer pong. Would definitely go back.

This was actually everything you would imagine it to be. We sat around and played corn hole and darts and threw a few back before we started our hour of axe throwing. Everyone was nice. Beer was great. And I’m basically a professional axe thrower now. Worth it

It was fun, but it seemed very unorganized. The young lady that had our lane just taught us how to throw but when we threw and didn’t quite get it, she didn’t give us pointers as to how to throw it better? We also were just throwing axes for thirtyish minutes just thinking “is this all it is here?” Then she came over when we had 25 minutes left and said “y’all want play a game? Not very interactive but it was still fun I would say. I just wish the girl was a little more around and attentive. We had to call her over to replace our board and seemed to get an attitude when she saw that we had gone through the boards and into the wall behind. But we still had a fun time, it just wasn’t as great as some other axe throwing places we go to. Always willing to give things another chance though!

Does this place have covid cause this place is SICK! Good place to bring friends for a night out!

Cool concept, but a few things were very off-putting. For one, the prices are sky-high. Its $25/person per hour. If you have a group of ten, thats $250 an hour. For that price, youd expect to have fresh targets to throw axes at and sharpened axes, but thats not the case. Our target was torn up when we started and it was incredibly difficult to make the ax stick. We even tried to hit the ax in up close just to see if it could be done, which it could not. The staff members refused to change the boards out for us.Secondly, there was a new female manager who we found out had just been promoted to manager. She was incredibly lacking in customer service skills and overall was a terrible employee. She had an attitude upon check-in and even yelled at employees in front of customers. Numerous employees complained about her behind her back and made it clear that she was not management material.Lastly, there is a self-serve beer system. The system charges you for foam at the top of the keg and then randomly cuts you off after two or three drinks. It was more of a hastle than having a traditional bartender.To put things into prospective, Top Golf costs about $40 an hour for a group of ten and utilizes much more technology than throwing dull metal at old boards.Save your money and go somewhere else. If youve been and have had to deal with the manager lady, Im sorry.

I always bring my first dates here and they always have a good time.

A lot harder than I expected! Had a fun, new and unique birthday date with the fiance. Only downside was that the host had a very dirty mouth on her. Normally I can hang with any kind of language but she just wouldn’t quit with it. Then she hovered around our lane/box for half the time so it was like we had a third wheel on a date. We’ll be back but we’ll both be hoping she isn’t working that day.

We went for our 5th anniversary. It was so much fun! Our host Soy was awesome. Everyone who works there is very entertaining and they play songs that you request. Also they have a self serve tap! We will be going there again for sure!

I was a little hesitant and didnt think ax throwing would be my thing, but ended up having the BEST time. I highly recommend this for a team building event, bday party, etc. SO MUCH FUN!!! Coach Bear was GREAT and made the whole experience that much more enjoyable.

The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. We had a blast and definitely plan to go back for some axe! The pour your own drink stations are so convenient and it was awesome not having to wait for a server.

Ken was a great coach and instructor. Uses very precise vocabulary to tell us how to concentrate and how to fix our mistakes while it gives us opportunity to reach the bullseye. Highly recommend him on any future visits.
