Amid shutdowns and postponements, the Irving Art Association is developing new strategies to bring art to the people. Bug things are on the horizon.
Irving Art Association is a 63 year old nonprofit, and is a growing resource in DFW. They not only have a gallery that changes art exhibits monthly, but they offer FREE Basic art classes W - F weekly and workshops on the weekends . They also have an annual Holiday Art Fair (11-17-19 from 1-5 pm), where talented artists sell their artistic creations - from painting to ceramics to jewelry, etc. Its a great place to purchase unique Christmas gifts! Even though I live a good ways from it, it is WORTH THE DRIVE! You dont have to live in Irving to take advantage of this most excellent treasure. Check them out on Facebook, Instagram and their website. FUN, Fun, fun!
Nice, comfortable space. Lots of great art on display. And I love that they have different group experiences throughout the month to explore mediums
Nice neighborhood art center. Good local art shows. The park is nice too
Nice place for a casual visit.
The Irving Art Association sponsored a very interesting exhibit which was open to the public and free.
They were supposed to be open at 1 pm and the Google map showed that it was open but the entrance was still closed until 2 pm...they left a not saying will open at 3 pm. Was worthless visiting there
Awesome streamroller exhibit and great art classes for the community
Wonderful artwork.
Friendly local art gallery
The Irving Art Association is great interactive art experience. Lots of classes, special workshops, exhibits, great gallery.
The park right outside it had a duck pond which the kids can have out around and there is also a playground for toddlers. Furthermore, the actual building can be rented for many events for a cheap cost.
Excellent
Beautiful work!
