I love Dave & Buster’s! I’ve been going to this location since it was first opened. Since the previous manager is no longer there, the management has improved significantly, including new employees who actually enjoy their jobs. Our server was very nice and professional while taking our orders! Would highly recommend this location instead of the one in Orange

Pretty small and a lot of games were out of order but overall it was a good experience. Great food and drink selection. Would recommend if for a date night.

A costly sports bar but their signature cocktails are worth trying when visiting Irvine. The signature burger is also a must.Took my son and be too loved the place since this was his first night out when moved to Irvine.

One of my favorite go to bars. Plenty of TVs, giant theater size screens, and the big game of the night is always on. Prices for beverages are the best that I found at Irvine Spectrum. During summer, get a drink, and enjoy people watching on the patio. The energy is awesome! Cheers

Had lots of fun as usual. I love hanging out at D&B. There was something wrong with their systems and all the machines were down when we were there yesterday evening. It was fixed shortly. Couldnt get a chance for my child and I to play on the dance machine because a bunch of teenagers were continuously taking turns playing on it amongst themselves.

Good service. Foods taste great. Server Mr. Jose was good. Always keep track of your credit card spending and dont forget your server name. I dont like the way they take your credit card away to charge when you pay. They should have an option to pay at your table liked other restaurant where you scan or insert directly into a machine at your table after you done eating and ready to pay. Too many scam artist out there to steal your card.

One of the better Dave and Busters Locations... come and enjoy dinner, a beer, watch the game, play pool or play some video games... Cant go wrong, unless youre in a bad mood.. in that case.. just stay home.

My bf took my out to celebrate my birthday. Probably my favorite birthday every. They gave me the recipe to my favorite drink and we had a blast playing their games. Its now a birthday tradition for us! ️

The turn around time for food from when you order it is a bit long, my main concern was that our Party witnessed another customer(A Patriots Fan)Sat. 01/04/20 during the end of the Patriots game..get in the faces of several other customers at the bar/gaming area and started Yelling at them, them saw some of those people talk to one of the staff members, but nothing was done. No other staff member came to talk to this man, no one from security came nothing, So kinda worried about how safe this location is in regards to how things are handle if reported to a staff member...

Dave & Busters has been getting worse since 2017 but in late 2018 its been better.

First time at the D&B in Irvine. The staff is definitely not the most friendly group of people I have ever met. I tried to reactivate my card. Yes, its my fault I lost it but were military and move alot things get lost! Needless to say 20minutes of waiting in line to activate a new card and I still dont have one. The lady at the counter didnt seem at all interested in helping.. just getting you out of her face as quickly as possible. We got the Power hour cards and found a seat to eat (seat yourself) the cards are not really for an hour. The card deducts 5min for every 1 game played and doesnt work on most the games. I was aware it wouldnt work on games for tickets but it also limits other games as well. The food was your typical D&B bar came out fast and made the kids happy.

Jen the bartender was a racist to me, I saw her treating every customer who was white with courtesy and providing them excellent service, but the moment I asked for her to fix my drink she said she would not throw it away that I needed to drink it and that I should be lucky to have that drink. I will never come to this Dave and Busters again. The racism I experienced here was nothing like the experience I expected when coming here. I wanted to have a good time with my fam and instead left feeling like I was not welcome.

Went Superbowl Sunday (Feb 3, 2019). Amanda was incredible, even though she was super busy. We had delicious appetizers (traditional buffalo wings, mini cantina nachos, smashed bar burgers )... and for dessert we had the build your own churro sundae and the brookie sundae tower. The game might have been meh, but our experience dining here during super bowl Sunday was definitely an amazing one!

Its like a Chuckie Cheese for grown ups. But, the food is 100 times better. Service was great. Had fun in the arcade. It was a great experience for an adult birthday celebration.

Great place! Watch sports there (I go for soccer games)! Have their Philly Cheese Steak with all the toppings, it is amazing! Their cocktails are also delicious! For appetizers try their lettuce wrap and their wings! They have Shuffle Board but it is in a room you don’t see if you don’t search for it... they should move it to a different place, because most of the time that room is reserved for large parties and you cannot play! Overall, this Dave and Busters has great management and their staff are nice!

Our server was super slow. We need to ask another server for our server a few times!!! Food is decent but some are very salty. However, its a good place to let the kids roam around.

While the experience at Dave and Busters was not bad it was just ok. The restaurant itself is very nice and clean. However, it didnt feel like there was anything in the experience that felt like it was amazing. Staff were adequate but didnt really go out of their way.

I arrived alone, I planned on just sitting and have a meal before heading home after a business meeting. I arrived moments after a large group and the girl at the counter seemed stargazed with one of the people with in the group so it took her a second to realize, she them proceeded to tell me oh just anywhere you want they should find you I questioned should ? But okay I had been to a Dave & Busters in two years, so I sat in two different locations and walked past several employees not one person notice even when in the same room ( which I did sit in two different locations for about ten mins each time). If the place had been busy and someone had at least acknowledged that I was there it wouldnt have been so bad, however the place was rather desolate, out side of two groups of six-nine (one group per room) as well as about the same six-nine people sitting at the bar. I have had better luck at Dennys on a hectic day.

My wife and I love coming here randomly for some gaming. I wont knock any stars off for a few games having either broken components(2)/error screens(1)/Out of Order(1). We always get the $50 for 300 credits which will last us about 2.5 hours.

First time at this D&B. It wasnt very busy so got sat immediately, had our order taken and got our food pretty quickly. The Philly cheese sandwich was good a bit too wet with good fries but nothing special. Their mac n cheese was also okay not too saucy, dry or salty. Seemed a bit overpriced. $15 for a bowl of mac and cheese. We chose the power play or whatever that meal & chips deal was. Overall our dining experience was great had no problems with the food or server... except:Small note: Our server tried a bit too hard to upsell the powerboost for our chips. And wasnt very good at it. When we objected she said But its a better deal. Obviously! Are we stupid to you? Didnt like that at all. Down to 3 stars from 5 for that alone.The arcade had a large variety of games. The ticket payouts are pretty sorry for how many chips most games take. The games vary from 5 to 10 chips which is steep to me. Did see a few games out of order. Not half of them like some of these other obviously emotional reviews exaggerate about. If this place is so bad why do you keep going? Do you enjoy complaining? lolOverall had a good time. Wont be coming here too often though.

Worst bar and food service Ive honestly experienced in the longest time, zero hospitality bar tenders didnt smile or greet you or clean the bar even though they all had rags in their back pockets. You had to try to get their attention and even when you said hey boss can I get a drink they just walk by and find something to do. Irvine could do much better in my opinion, Dave and Busters has really gone down hill theyre there to take your money thats it. I would honestly give no stars or even negative stars.

Went here recently to watch a televised sporting event with a friend. Sat in the bar area. There were several different appetizers for around $5 each, such as meatball sliders, quesadillas, and guacamole and chips. We were lucky enough to be right in front of a big screen TV. There were other games going on at the same time, such as NHL Hockey & a NBA Basketball game.

I took my twin girls here to Celebrate their 5th grade promotion!! The service was great as was the food The drinks from the bar are amazing so dont let the 2 drink limit deter you from going and having a ball. My girls loved the place as it was a step up from Chuck E Cheeses yet more age appropriate.

I visited this location with my dad and 5 month old daughter on the afternoon of September 11, 2019. My daughter has a dairy allergy and therefore, I maintain a dairy free diet. I informed our server of this, and she read everything on my order back to make sure it was correct. The manager hand delivered my food on a covered plate and went through my whole order to be sure it was all correct and dairy free. I wish I had gotten both of their names because they were more than accommodating and it was excellent! Navigating food allergies can be difficult and they made it seamless for me. Well done!

Food is good. Have had events there and it is a good place to have events they do a good job. They have pool tables and plenty of video games. Parking is free at this location which is nice

Nothing against the staff or management.I think what offends me most about D&B is the greed. They affirm that by trying to be something for everyone youre mediocre in everything.I hate coming here with my kids and doubly hate coming here with adults. Its a celebration of the banal, the bland and an extra dose of dull and lukewarm. Just walking through the doors drained my life energy.There are so so so many GodD#$m better places to enjoy food, company and drinks.

It be cool if most the games would work. Lost about 8$ total attempting to play games while staff said they need proof of it not working, next time would ask for a crew member to come along just to prove it

Fun for everyone, great place to take the kids while having a few cocktails. Game days get the all day pass. Food is good, can be intimate if you want or big groups. Kids are always exhausted by the time we leave.

Will never go back again!We ended up paying for someone else’s pool table, Madison who dealt with this situation was very rude and very unprofessional, she told us she can’t do anything about extra charge and paying for another table. Her attitude and manner was not acceptable at all!We then talked to the manager and he apologised for Madison’s behaviour but still didn’t offer any resolution.This review and complain is not about the money and charging us a few bucks extra, it is just about the very poor and unprofessional customer service, with no doubt the worst one ever!

My family went here for the first time....and the last time. The service was ATROCIOUS!!!! We sat at a table for no less than 9min, before a waiter even stopped to say ANYTHING!!! Mind you there were at least 8 different waiters who passed by us, on 10-12 trips, right by us...WITHOUT even an acknowledgement!!!! One waitress said she would get us menus, and a male waiter brought them....not even offering us water or anything!!!??? Right in the middle of our order he just walked off....really!!! I left my glass by the edge of the table for about 5min, waiting for a refill, he came by the table and didnt even offer a refill, then left, as he came back by I had to ask for a refill....which took 5min!!!! The food was decent, even above average, but the service was despicable!!!!! We even had to ask a different waiter to get us a to-go-box, as are waiter just disappeared for about 15min. No one else even spoke or made eye contact with us, as if they didnt want to help us out!!! We will not be going back to D&B, at least not that location!!!!

This used to be my favorite place, until a waitress named Allison was so incredibly rude I will never return. I try to be empathetic to wait staff and people in service, however rolling your eyes and showing your disdain for your job is not fair to patrons. Upon complaining to the manager, he simply gave us the shrug, said he was sorry but this was not his normal area. My Google timeline shows D&B once a week on Sundays, not anymore.

Over priced games, bad food.... Not a fanLast time we ate there I had fajitas. The tortilla were all balled into a rock, beans were cold and quality was bad.if youre paying a premium for the entertainment value I expect at least decent food.

My second visit to a Dave & Busters, each time with grandchildren. They like it very much but for my part some of the games require too much effort and time to figure out how to set up the controls and are often not calibrated properly. It takes two tries to figure it out! Same with a two-game competition sometimes. So its not as much fun as I think it could be. And I think its probably more expensive than it needs to be.

Food was great! Service tho was very poor. I had to find someone to take our order after waiting almost 20 minutes. The waitress never came back to see if everything was good I had to go find her to get the check. The games are more for adults and half of them did not work. I was disappointed with the place overall. Not really kid friendly.

Honestly this place has horrible service. Jen the bartender was beyond rude and extremely racist. She was super kind to everyone white around me avoided me for a good 10 minutes and the moment I got near her she started giving me attitude and rolling her eyes. I asked her if she can fix my drink because it was not what I expected and she said no that I was forced to drink it that she would not correct and throw it away that that was not company policy. She said I was lucky to even have the drink she was making. We Love Dave and Busters. The food is WAY to high in calories its good food but not worth going there for. The Arcade is wonderful. The machines are always in top notch shape and they always have deals and discounts. When we went last time we were informed when we got there that they were closing the entire restaurant and arcade for a private party and we would have to leave. Kind of unhappy about that we live 2 hours from there and only go once maybe 2 times a year and we only got 2 hours or so of play. We will be back as there is no other arcade as well run only next time we will call ahead.

Went there with my husband for dinner and to play some games. My husband sat at a table and waited a half hour and nobody came by to see if he wanted anything. So he finally got up and flagged down the manger and told him what happened. The manager offered to help him. He said thats okay and we left. The server came to apologize but it was a little to late. Guess we wont be going to that location anymore.

The food is decent, staff are friendly, however my dad ordered a soup and a salad, but the soup never came.Some of the games are fun.Its depressing, however, that a good proportion of the games are made by Raw Thrills, specifically their sit down shooter dressed as whatever IP (Space Invaders, Jurassic Park, Ghostbusters, etc.) Is popular. Its all the same game.The other games are usually some form of oversized cell phone game, basketball game, or chance game your 7 y.o. has no chance of winning.Its kinda lazy and makes it hard to spend $20 when after $5 you really dont want to do any more of one of 3 types of games.

Worst Dave & Busters Ive ever been to. The host ignores you while you are standing there. Taking to other host about what hes going to do the following day. Finally talks to us and tells us there is a wait and suggests open seating. Went over there with my family to look for a table, every open table was dirty. Will never return to this location.

Great selection of new games. Took my 16 month old son and he had a blast. Only major issue involved two games that didnt work but the game room tech was there after a long wait to resolve. It would have been nice to offer a bonus game for making us wait almost 15 minutes. Overall, will be back over and over...

Yoooo Turn the AC on...It gets hotter than hell playing those games and the heat from the machines. It makes it uncomfortable to want to stay. I would also suggest staying up on game mainteance.

So many fun games that are new and updated for the whole family! Newly remodeled interior makes it bright and open, love the new look.

They have to improve with the birthday partys service they dont answer emails, bad customer service online very slow. onsite service is good but online they dont know what they are doing, more training to answer questions by emails. the manager answered me their workers had days off and the other one was in maternity leave, that is not the correct answer, if they dont have workers somebody needs to cover days off and review emails and answer questions. it was my first and last birthday party there, bad experience i dont recommended this place they dont respect you.

First three games that my friends and I attempted to play were not functioning properly. First game was refunded but my buddy was directed to different people at least three times in an effort to correct the problem with the game. I’ve been to other Dave and Busters and have had a much better and more fun experience, I feel there should be a certain standard to be held no matter branch location for this company. No complaints or arguments from the staff at the bar though!

Not a bad place to spend time with friends. Used a Groupon - $20 unlimited games (tickets excluded) and it was pretty fun. The cards had some delay on them but it wasnt too bad. Ended up having a couple appetizers at the bar and the pretzels were pretty tasty. Service at the bar was slow, but it was a busy Saturday night so it was expected

My family loved this place! They have so many fun games for all ages. The food was so-so, the pricing was mixed with the gaming cards, so.....for 3 of us it was 115.00.

This is a great experience for me. I never played these games as a child with full freedom as I was always restricted. But the fun you gain on earning tickets and shopping with them is great. The games were just as old from past 10-15 years, but any new upgrades would bring this place more joy and fun.

The arcade was great and we had a lot of fun. However our waitress came to our table twice the whole night. My daughter asked the waitress for a condiment which was never brought the whole night. We never got our drinks refilled until after she brought the check. The food was ok tasting. We did end up having a really fun time in the arcade. They had a lot of games to choose from.

Place closed a 1am and i had to go to bathroom badly. I was inside game room with a 3/4 full beer and it was 1:05 a.m. the security staff guarded the bathroom and wouldnt let me use the bathroom. I had to go badly. I wasnt creating a scene, i am a grown man and i needed to relieve myself after spending my money in that establishment. I hadnt been in a while to Dave and Busters and i can assure you that with service like that i wont be going again. If you want to be treated with dignity and respect, dont go to Dave and Busters

In response to what would have made it a 5 Star visit. Overall the visit was fantastic. It was extremely uncrowded whihh was nice, however after we were seated, we were asked if we wanted drinks and it was at least 2p minutes before we got them. Then we had an almost 30 minute delay on the dood after ordering. On a busy night we totally expect this and its acceptable for sure but we literally had 2 other couples in our section where we were sat so it definitely diminished the overall experience.

The food was good and drinks were poured well. First time at one of these bit will definitely be going back. Had a great time.

Dave and busters might be an old place but its still a good time and their food isnt bad. This is the go to spot for when I want to watch the NBA finals also. They have huge TVs and a good selection of drinks.

This place is so much fun. We drove out here from Oceanside. The only thing you have to keep in mind is that the parking spaces are limited. So just give yourself a few extra minutes to circle the parking lot a few times and you will have a blast here.

I enjoy going to Dave and Busters for their great happy hour. It is a clean and fun place to be. The only thing that I have an issue with is the time it takes to get service. The service is awesome when you get it, but it may take some time.

Took my 6 year old grandson. He had a blast. We spent most of the day here. We cant wait to go back

Brought 5 families into an empty building. It took us 20 minutes to get water from one waiter who said he couldnt split up checks unless we sat at the same table. Waiter did not work with us was very slow and were went next door and spent our money there.

Adult arcade. Can walk around with your drinks from the bar. The best part is that they have a dance dance revolution game in the corner in case youre too shy to try to bust a dance move in a public place (;

Great place to for casual night out, group events, watching the game and having a drink, playing some games...Really the only reason I took a star off cuz mix drinks and cocktails (are kinda small portion for the $). They use tricks like over icing, deceiving glassware... Which is not an uncommon thing, but here you feel like you are getting much less then they you should .
