Fun, friendly, welcoming environment. Thankfully, the actors show that you can be funny without resorting to being crass.

My favorite place to go on weekends. Family friendly and fun for kids. 9:30pm shows are uncensored though, which are fun too. Laughed hysterically many many times. Downstairs is the bowling alley with a bar and food. Reasonable pricing for show.

These folks are some of the most talented and extremely dedicated performers I’ve ever met. Anytime I’m in town I make time to catch their shows and love their support for one another. Great community!

Saw Josh Wolf. Great show. Arriving a little early will let you grab seats as close to the front as you desire. Venue has a nice app for food and drinks to be delivered to your seat. Seating is a little close, but not obnoxious.

Great date night! Its in a relatively small room upstairs in the bowling alley. The performers are awesome! The comedy is original and had my wife and I roaring with laughter! The bar downstairs in the bowling alley has cheap drinks and theyre made pretty strong. Best of of all you can take them into the comedy show. I do recommend eating before you come cause the food there is borderline terrible. I think between the drinks and the door charge I spent about $80 WITH A COMEDY SHOW?! Thats just awesome.... Definitely going back!......

Had a really great time here tonight. My wife and I were staying at a hotel nearby for our anniversary and decided to give this a try. We went to the 7:30 PG-13 show and had a blast. For my $12 Id rather do this than watch a movie any day. They actually asked for a volunteer from the audience and I stepped up and played Chain Murder, kind of a Clue-Meets-Telephone game. It was a great experience. I may even go back for the $10 improve class on a Monday night. Enjoy!

The pizza was really good. Service was great! But the only thing that I didnt like is that they play teen music. They need to provide for all ages.

Fantastic shows every weekend. 7:30p shows are perfect to bring the whole family to. You can get drinks and food from downstairs and enjoy them during the show. Perfect night out.

Pretty decent Improv group. Having been to nearly every improv club Hollywood has to offer, this wasnt bad vs a treck from south bay to Hollywood as Irvine was an easy 30 min down the freeway and parking was a breeze. Could use a few more characters and taking the games to another level. The energy and wit was good Id say a 6/10 but it was a packed room and everyone was laughing so maybe im a tough critic. For a family of 3 this was a low cost fun night out and we could go bowling after so we may be back for another family night.

Best comedy show Ive ever seen. Hands down. Everything is unique and customized to the crowd, so no two shows are alike. I was blown away by how witty, spontaneous, and hilarous the performers were. And how can you compete with the price? Theres just no comparison. We also hired some of the actors for a side project we were doing. They came early, dressed well, were beyond professional, and executed to the highest degree. Cant wait to go back!

Professional quality improv comedy in Irvine. It happens to be located in a room above the bowling alley, but the comedy is top notch with a professional cast performing. Only $10 per person. Youre allowed to bring drinks in from the bar downstairs. I really enjoyed the show. I highly recommend it! 7:30pm is PG rated, while 9:30pm is uncensored fun!

Great comedy club! Comic book night was great! All of the performers were sharp, witty and very creative! I cant wait to go back, I wilk be recommending this plac to all of my frienda and family! Keep up the great work!

Took my 13year old and a few of his friends here for a birthday night out. The show was so much fun and completely appropriate for people of all ages. They made it a special night by singing him a fun bday song. They also use the audience participation in their show - we all had a blast!!! Highly recommended for family fun!!!

The later show is not kid-friendly, but the early show is. Sort of a Whose Line Is It Anyway type comedy show. They play games with suggestions from the audience. Pretty funny, although the comedians definitely range in skill, from beginners to experienced. If you’re looking for a low key comedy show that’ll make you laugh and doesn’t require you to buy drinks, this is it. It can be hard to find your first time, it’s upstairs above the bowling alley. Park on the side of the bowling alley building that’s away from Boomers and go in through the side door, then up the stairs. Sort of a funky venue, they use a conference room, but they make it work. Go on your birthday and you’ll leave with a free ticket! If you do something extra participatory (eg give them your phone so they can read your text messages or make sound effects for a scene), you might get a free ticket too.

Really impressed with the group. I learned a lot. It is different. If you are looking for a venue for personal development and to challenge your speaking skills it is great place to go. If you are a novice speaker you might want to try toastmastee first.

Had a great time there, very entertaining interactive show, and very good talent. Also cant beat the price.

My boyfriend and I have been to the improv city shows a good amount as we live down the street. They are hilarious and always makes for a fun night. I brought my dad and brother, who is 11 and it was also appropriate for him. Go check them out! Its right above boomers so you can always bowl or play games then see a show or vice versa.
