We heard good things about ShuChih art studio and enrolled our 5 year old daughter. That was 7 years ago. Today 2016 she is still enjoys going there, learning art at the studio, and her skill and understanding of art keep getting better. They are also flexible in schedule and payment. I think this is a very good art school for kids.

Both my kids go the studio. Very nice place to get your kids to learn fundamentals and up for Art. Teachers and Staff are very friendly and patient with kids. Love the environment. They always open to accommodate make up classes when needed. My kids enjoy learning art here

Love this art school -- kids get individual attention and guidance. If you want to encourage your childrens creativity, this is the school and training they need. Especially since art is seldom taught in public schools.

ShuChih is an incredible teacher! She takes time with each student and with groups to bring out their creativity and to help them gain confidence in their works of art. We have had a wonderful experience.

The studio is awesome. Shuh Chih is a wonderful teacher. My kid loves it here. This is our second year here. We come all the way from Anaheim Hills.Trust me she is really good. It is not like some studios where the teachers do all the drawing. They learn concepts. My daughter is lucky to have her.We had some timing issues because of conflicts with soccer or other school stuff and she is great in accommodating you and the best part is she responds very quickly.She is an awesome person.

What a great art studio. Shu Chih and her teachers clearly care so much about their students. Everyone is treated as an individual and not mechanically taught the same techniques. They are encouraged to individualize their projects. She always allows our daughter to stay late if she wants to finish her project. She organizes events outside of class to draw outdoors, visit art museums participate in local contests, etc. Weve tried several other art studios in the area and this is by far the best!

Signed up all of my kids. They learned the foundation and fundamental skills to creating a piece of art. Teachers and instructors are great with lots of patience. Kids learn by using the techniques they learned in class. Great place to get kids into art.

Ms. Shu Chih is a very loving and dedicated art teacher. Her teaching style is very organized and easy to understand. She hired 4 other art teachers to help different level students while she is in charge of the all levels. She also organized field trips twice a year. This is a great opportunity for students to comprehend and appreciate art works in life. She is also very familiar with available art contests for children at different levels and strongly encourages children to participate according to their strength and interest. I really appreciate her sense of involvement in community events so art is not an isolated subject but part of our life and community. Kudos to Ms. Shu Chih!

I took classes with Shu Chih for years. Shu Chih is always warm, kind, generous and patient. She pushes students to be the best that they can be while encouraging them to develop their own style. She is very knowledgeable of art and art history. I had lots of fun in her classes and never wanted to leave! I was also able to take home projects to develop a portfolio that I was proud of.

My child has not only benefit the awards and profolio which Mrs ShuChih has dedicated to support him, but also has use what he learned to enhance his school projects by his sence of art talent like biology graph robotic, science Olympiad... Now he resent just got into UC Berkeley with computer science major. I highly recommend to encourage your child come and learn the life of art at shiChih studio.
