Have taken 2 pottery classes here and they were fantastic! If you’ve ever wanted to try your hand at pottery this is the place. The facility and the people are terrific! Can’t wait til they open up again.
Best fine arts center ANYWHERE with many different types of affordable art classes. There are bunnies birds and turtles on the property that add to its charm, just please DONT FEED THE BIRDS AND ANIMALS. They are well taken care of and giving them human food can lead to an early death and makes for very gross poop that pollutes the lake.As a bonus its a great place to hunt pokemon! There are multiple poke gyms and many stops. Ive been going to this place for 30 years and its one of my favorite places. Love it!
Finally made it to Art Walk...but it wasnt the scene we were hoping for. We visited around 5 galleries and the Last Bookstore which also held a few galleries on the second floor. The latter was the highlight of the night, but overall it was just ok. 2 stars for effort and the outdoor food trucks on a warm Spring night.
Good culinary arts classes have expert instructors. I enjoyed learning. As for the facility, its a small yet well maintained art center with friendly service. I always appreciate the warm welcome from the helpful front office staff.Im looking forward to the next time I have an opportunity to takeanother class here! The art galleries showcase students work nicely.Theres an art fair as well.Recommended.
Ive been here a few times for the culinary classes and I learn a lot and the instructors have been great so far.
Wonderful center in heart of Irvine! Lots of classes for kids, teens and adults. Family classes too! Totally check it out. Its a heart warming experience all the way!
Great for local art shows a few times a year ! Awesome employees.
Little place great for taking hobby classes.
My kids went here for after school care for many years! Always an excellent experience. Both of my kids are adults now and creative. I highly recommend this.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Amazing offer to the community. Classes are affordable and very good. A great way to learn creative outlets and be exposed to passions you’ve never had time to consider. Lots of beginners and for all ages!
Great Artisan shows in June and November. Must see!
Amazing high quality metalSmith and jewelry making classes
The Fine Arts center is one of those good things that make me live in Irvine. There are great courses for adults and children. The equipment is very good and hard to find elsewhere.
This is a wonderful facility for art and ceramics. Everyone is so friendly and supportive, I always have a great time. I have learned so much from the instructors as well as the other artists. Even when its a bad week at work, its always a great day at the Irvine art center.
As an Irvine resident, Im proud of the Fine Art Center, the wonderful classes and exhibitions they have there. The exhibition I saw today was excellent. I was very impressed with the artwork on display. If youre reading this Im sorry to tell you that that exhibition has closed. However, there will be a new one on February 22nd.
Have only done one class so far (Sewing 101) but am excited to get back for more. Was a little nervous on my way to class but as soon as we walked in Kelly put us at ease immediately and it was so fun and she made everything seem so easy and actually made sewing cool - grab a PBR when youre done with your beer koozy to make sure it fits - how cool is that!?The space just breeds creativity - its impossible to go there and not go home with your head swimming with new ideas.
Love the craft fairs they put on twice a year. Impressive collections of handcrafted items. Great for gift buying.
A Great place to relax and appreciate different genres of visual art.
Great community center and Jill Towers enameling class is top knotch.
I love IFAC what more can I say. Great place to see new local art, great events, and a nice lake behind the center.
All these lame reviews dont explain how wonderful this place is, if you know what you are doing and can operate creatively without an instructor supporting you then this is a wonderful spot to work on your own pieces in a completely furnished lab setting. From what Ive seen this place isnt for novices which is where I think most of these reviews stem from, but hey if you take the time to fully teach yourself how to work in a dark room, fabricate jewelry, etc. then this place is for you.
A center that teaches to anyone from 3 years old to 100. A very posh/trendy lobby and professional-looking student exhibit inside
They offer excellent classes in a really well equipped building.
Great ceramics class. Teachers are great, studio is really nice.
Nice place to sit and think...
Small city funded art gallery with exceptional artists. I normally dont enjoy collage but the unique approach and materials used made it well worth the time spent.
Great facility, with many different classes to take for all ages. There are also open studio hours for anyone that wants to go and work on their own works.
This place is amazing, always showcasing great art.
I dont like when classes are cancelled. Have a back up.
Love the exhibits, the grounds, etc. Absolutely loathe the parking. Its been like this for a long time. Wish tjey would do something to streamline it or control it better.
Good place to learn something after work.
I recently had a watercolor class.let me describe it with the word splendid, for someone like me who hardly get out of her apartment, this place was so relaxing and friendly.its gets better and better with the friendly and helping staff that it has.I would definitely come back to take more classes.
This is a great place to go with famiky or friends if you wish to tap into your artistic side. I come here for ceramics and love that I have an open and inviting place to practice my art. The prices are super reasonable and the studio has so much room. For $10-15 you can utilize the equiptment and glazes. Clay costs an additional $15 which is a great price for the amout of clay you recieve.
We were at the park area around this little pond. We had a picnic and enjoyed the views
We visited this place as part of a larger Festival. It was fun.
