Good spot for day out, famous for balloon ride and farmers market, ample of parking space, need not worry for parking, on weekend reach a bit early for balloon ride passes, i have not got as all the slots are fully booked for the day.

I didnt get on the carousel, but I did go up on the helium balloon. The helium balloon gives you the feel of a hot air balloon but with the comfort of knowing youre tethered. You go up to 400ft I believe. It was super high for me since Im afraid of heights. You can walk around if you like. The pilot was very fun and friendly. He helped me get over my jitters. He gave us a mini sight seeing experience from above. I definitely recommend this experience especially for people like me that are afraid of heights.

Such a fun atop. $3 for one ride or $10 for all day bracelet. We rode 4 times to justify the cost :)

Id give it more Stars than 5. One of a kind park in the world in our backyard! Absolutely huge and incredibly well maintained. Its truly one of the hidden secrets or yet to be discovered secrets of Orange County let alone Irvine! I HIGHLY recommend visiting and bring kids, family and friends here. Be prepared to walk as there is a lot to walk. I suggest biking as you can see more stuff around. The air-baloon and timeline walk is simply mindblowing!

Very nice carousel for kids. $3 unlimited for the day.

We were there around 7:30pm hoping to ride the giant balloon but they said it is not going up tonight due to wind... the front desk advised to always call in advance and best times are around 10am. My son didnt get too disappointed as he got to go on the carousel at least which was beautiful and had great music. Keep in mind the visitor center is only providing information about the great park and not the city of Irvine.

I love this park and carousel! Employees are usually friendly and park is so peaceful, clean, safe, its always an enjoyable experience for my family and myself. I drive from Fullerton just so my kids play at a safe park!

Its a bit pricey. If the just lowered the price they would make more money and allow the community to enjoy a great park. Get it Great Park!

Good place to visit with family but lacks variety

Always love coming to the Great Park....something new to see each time. This visit I learned that wild rivers will return!!

This park is super cool, theres more than 20 fields for rent, a carousel, arts, food trucks, on Saturday or sundays I think there is a small farmers market they have little play areas too. Highly recommend bringing the family here.

About a 3-4 minute ride.

They say a ride is for 4 minutes but they stop in about 2 mins. A single ride costs 2$ and an unlimited rides does not cost a lot but they didnt say that unless I asked.
