The rest of the park was amazing too, very well laid out, all the animals looked well cared for. It was great to see the flamingos with eggs waiting to hatch (not a sight you come across often!). Lots of talks and activities. All the staff we saw were happy and friendly.
An oasis tucked somewhere in the urban sprawl of Inglewood. The remarkable features of this park are its cleanliness, the softness of the lush grass flowing down its hills, and the strange proliferation of restrooms -- all wet and clogged with human waste -- everywhere you turn. Someone made a fortune in the planning and development of this park, I bet.
The Edward Vincent Jr Park embody fun in its simplest of forms. You grab a piece of cardboard (strewn around the area), you go down one of the two slides, and then you do it again. You laugh, you form a bond with your fellow sliders without saying a word, and you have a good time. No need for technology or high entry fees -- just let gravity take its course.
This is my Favorite Park. The large parking lot was closed off to the public today, but the smaller one was open where the play area is for the children. There was a nice cool breeze however, I was very surprised to see 15 to 20 children running around with no mask, shame on the parents for that. Otherwise it was as always a nice Park to visit.
Love taking my morning walks. Two times around the track including the incline going towards the train tracks) is a 2 mile walk. Also free workouts at 7am on Tues, Wed & Thurs on the basketball court. Amazing ladies!
I have been coming to this park off and on for over 20 years for baseball games and it has always been a great place to play and hang with the family, and when you have time, you can BBQ in between or after games. I would rate it a 5 if the bathrooms were better cared for.
There doing a good job keeping it clean. There is a growing community of homeless sleeping in the park. But its large enough to avoid them.
This park is huge and well-maintained. There are about four separate play areas for kids and many people hanging out and exercising.
Huge park with several apparatus areas (4 stars because swings have been removed), waking/running paths, tennis courts, swimming pool, and theater! Hidden gem that is hopefully fully utilized post COVID shutdown.
Great park.. to take family and FRIENDS for a big celebration... yes i will be back . Clean and neat.. Area..
Had a barbeque there not many people around social distancing was achieved all the way people kept to themselves the bathrooms were clean and me and my group of friends were all responsible. Adults and kept away from crowds
Very pleasant however wasnt clean.. Nice and quiet.
Its a well planned Park but the upkeep isnt where it should be. The city Parks department needs to post more signs and provide places for people to drop off doggy doo. The park needs a general cleanup and pressure washing.
This place is huge. And a bands practices here during weeknights. So free music
This park has 5 playgrounds, basketball courts, tennis courts, exercising equipment, a pool and a skate park. I highly recommend this park to people who work out and people with kids.
Large Park clean and family friendly. Good lighting at sunset
Nice size park. There are workout stations, a large and then smaller picnic areas. The skate park is on the northern Western side of the park with two baseball fields and the recently renovated Champions Field that is used for soccer and football. The field is closed off for food, but there seems to be vendors outside the park on busier days. Make sure to review the city website for league sign ups, play performances, public events for the elderly and reserving picnic areas for larger crowds. Right now is soccer, tennis, and track. There are also multiple playground and a swimming pool area. The amphitheatre is good for getting a good step exercise as well when there are no performances. If you have younger children with you, make sure you escort them to the restrooms. The park is doing its best to keep the amenities clean and stocked, but due to it being a public park, not everyone always does their part to assist maintenance in upholding that goal. Enjoy!
Nice park for exercise just enough small hills to increase your stamina if you walk on a regular basis.
Inglewood has this nice park off of Florence Ave and Centinela will soon have a Metro train to add to its landscape. Will be interesting to observe when it gets here
Great place to relax with the family thiers alittle something for everyone with, foot ball, soccer, basket ball, baseball fields including the 3 play yards and swimming pool....
Beautiful day for a nice walk at a awesome park. Older people showing younger children how to play, baseball, basketball,. Young ladies showing young children drills for a drill team. Not much homeless encampments. So thats good for kids. Different races come together to have fun.
This park has a lot of potential, but suffers from lack of maintenance. Its truly a gem that will stay in Inglewood for many years I hope, and improve. It has a nice soccer field, and some updated play equipment.
Beautiful park, love the friendly squirrels
Great place for dL brothers lookin to smash other dL dudes
Great area to walk with lots of hills for incline and I use the ampitheatre area for the steps and to do my lunges and squats.
Ive been coming to this park for so many years.its perfect for a workout or to bring the children to play.
Very relaxing, very clean, felt safe, everyone at the park had a face covering on, love the park
Nice greenery with a couple hills, a small skate park, playing fields and tennis courts. The park’s greatest strength is also its greatest weakness, being largely unregulated. It’s one of the only parks in the area I can enjoy with my dog off leash playing frisbee. Good luck trying to get a dog even near most parks in Culver.
Beautiful park just a dream. Extra roomy just right for the community. This is the spot for kids b-day parties and other events or just exercising
Nice, friendly place thats open and fun for the kids
This park is very interesting, some parts liquor hundred years old, while their field looks state of the yard and brand new. Lots of hills auto walking paths, theres plenty of room for everybody. The only gripe is that they really do need the type of restrooms they have at the beaches, these are totally outdated and not safe for children.
Different from my childhood, but well maintained and clean
Plenty of space for whatever activities youre planning. Great playground equipment for my kids plus fields for soccer, baseball, basketball courts, and swimming pools.
I love this park! If you like taking long walks and at the same time be able to enjoy the green scenery. This place has it. It has kids jungle playgrounds in the upper level and lower level of the park. Summer it has a nice outside pool. There is an area that has an outside theatrical stage with front rows and rows of seating area.
Great service and food and location...
It was really nice! Its a good kept secret. Its hard to see its TRUE luster without people around.
A huge park with lots to do and plenty of space and shade and grass
Great park, beautiful spaces, lots of greenery and many playgrounds throughout. Some of the kids can be a little rough and may not have parents directly near but just as any park would. Sometimes there are loud crowds and the occasional cop visits but all in all great place for family fun!
The city change the name of this park wich i dont like but this park is very big and i love coming here. It brings back memories
I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and I bring my kids here. It’s a great place to walk and play sports with the kids.
Nice place 2 have a PICNIC
Love this park great for walking
Love the tennis courts. Great park for riding bikes. Plenty of green space
A great park for a long walk.
Well kept and it has everything
So much space!
I Love This Park !! It has everything you need. There is a skate park here plenty of playgrounds, tennis court ect. The park has clean bathrooms open early when you want to run early. They have plenty of paths to run on and big open grass which i love, for picnics and pets as well as children. The parking lot is slightly back from the actual street so it really helps with the safety factor . Parking is a breeze, super convenient and free .Multiple places to park as it is a big park .Highly recommend
Has alot of diffrent playgrounds there.
Very nice park...
Loved it. Grew up here as a young adult.
A nice park to walk in and thats exactly what I did/do.
The Resident Lady Tennis Instructor was very rude and unhospitable toward guest in the company of youth as she argued uncontrollably with a parent/player over the use of an empty Court.
Its a fun place to bring your kids because it has everything for a fun time out. It has plenty of space for your children to run and play since the park is a lot of playgrounds in one huge park. It has courts for baseball, basketball, tennis, and soccer. It also has a pool used for summer and a stage for performances. This park is even a great place to excercise it has a vast loop around so that you may run and shed weight. The track has some upward hills and even steps so you may work on your incline.
Cool place to play ball but the basket ball court need some flood lights
I like this park. I’d give it 5 stars but I believe someone was killed there which makes me not want to go anymore.
Great park...love it
Roomy nice park
Huge big park, been here as many time, well it my hometown. Usually here on Thursday & weekends when my son played flag football. I recommend anyone to come visit. Check out the park, to bring your own kids, do Fams, or Friend Barbq, jogging, there time see a group women do yoga, others doing exercise as a group also. Doesnt hurt to check the park. The Football Field is share as soccer, real nice for real. When I was a young boy and a youngster the Football and soccer field was ugly not good. I will we Welcome anyone from outside my hometown. A welcome to City Of Champions ️
Nice park to bring the family. Everyone does their thing.
Love that park Really big n spacy my son grew up in that park
Rides for kids are cushioned safe especially for my lily one the runs and falls love it
Nature, Birds,, Squirrels, Quiet. A very nice Park
One of the largest parks around!Caution when you enter the restrooms.
Lots of sights and sounds to see, lots of excitement, lots of people-watching opportunities, and if youve never spent much time at a horse racing event, lots to learn about betting and the odds of winning, placing, or losing! But dont look at this venue as an sure-fire opportunity to to increase your wealth. The odds are that youll pay for the excitement. (The rule is that you dont usually get something for nothing!
Nice clean park.
Good place to sign up young children to learn to swim. Wish they had heated pool, but if the sun is shining bring it on.
The park is excellent for walking and there is skate park for the kids that like to skate.
Good skate park kinda small and not very crowded
Nice big park. Not a dog park but you can walk your dog on a leash.
The park is small but very pleasant, with big trees that provide a good amount of shade. It has a few benches, but bringing a chair or a blanket is ideal. Its perfect for toddlers and babies, as the street its on is not busy, and people who walk their dogs seem very friendly.
I love this park, My family loves this park, my daughters love to come here every day, very safe and clean
GREAT BIG NICE CLEAN PARK
The enjoyment of all that had in mind a better girl but she didnt want to hear it up
To many bugs and no places to sit down
The park was big enough to have one area to yourself! The bathrooms had tissue but smelled inside.
I enjoy the fresh cool air over there, I like the shades from the big beautiful trees that protects us from the sun, love the green grass, and its always clean.
Is it good for everybody
Awesome park! Has a pool, basketball courts, tennis and lots of space, tons! Skate park to and lots of parking.
All-Star nice yup relax in the grassy green expanses and enjoy natures best.
Beautiful large daytime family park. Nighttime another story for another app. Either way it’s a win win.
I LIKE PLAYING IN PARKS ITS THE BEST.
Cool hang out and the cops are always there PATROLLING on foot to KEEP everyone safe
