Great family night out standing with the Brickyard Battalion and cheering on the Eleven. The club has a bright future in Indy and hopefully soon in MLS. Just $15 for general admission at the North end zone of Lucas Oil Stadium so arrive early and literally get front row seating pitch-side to stand with the BYB.
The greatest team the world has ever seen.
Its nice to see Indianapolis really coming into the main stream sports arena. Not just racing and football. Indy 11 seems to be a young hungry team that I think will go far as they get more experience. They play with heart.
I have followed the Sounders for a few years, but now that I have a team in town to watch live, I love it! The atmosphere on game day is electric, you can feel the energy in the stands change as the story on the pitch unfolds! Its a surreal experience, unlike anything you get at a baseball or even football game.To those of you with 1-star, why? What was so bad?
If professional soccer is something you enjoy this place is a good time. They have a hardcore fan section that is definitely high energy and quite fun to listen to. They sing songs, yell and will even call out the reffs for a bad call. Worth a trip just for that. The team supports a lot of good things around town so go give them a try.
Exuberant local support makes these pro soccer games a great to watch!
Good place to watch sporting events. I am a student at IUPUI and the tailgating is my favorite part. The team is very good and great atmosphere.
The Brickyard Battalion is like transporting yourself to the crazy college student section your school never had. Unending chants, organized signs, smoke bombs, kazoos. Win or lose you are in for a show. What I love most about the Indy 11 fans is the sense of camaraderie, whether its your first game or your eleventh. This carries over the away games as well; often a local bar (usually Chatmans pub) will host a huge viewing party. Normally non-soccer fans biggest concern for watching a game is that its 90 minutes of 1 or 2 goals scored, but when you are in the active crowd the time flies by. Though there have been a few too crazy wild nights with objects being thrown onto the field, they have firmly reestablished the boundaries so there is no more wobbly standing on top of the bleacher seats and your allowed to have bottles in the section again. The team is incredible thankful to the crowd as well, at the end of each game they come shake the hands of the battalion to show their appreciation.Whats better than to start off a game cheering for the sideline refs to Check the nets, Check the nets!?
TL:DR- If you love soccer and want a cheap night out go but its not a great venue to watch from, team is good/average (if they bother to invest in them that year).Im the kind of fan who tries to go to 3-6 games a season as I dont have many weekends free. Its an ok stadium (considering its a small college stadium) but not really worth the price of admission unless you can stand the cheap seats.Use to be a big fan of them since their inception. I would go to single games or buy their multi pass deals. Unfortunately im not able to purchase higher level tickets. We had our car break down the night of the game and tried to get our tickets refunded but the box office was closed. left a voicemail for them, no one called me. I called them 2 days later and they told me no refunds. This has soured me on going, so ill be enjoying soccer somewhere else from now on.
Good playing, great supporters. Lots of fun if you (or at least the people youre with) love soccer.
We play kickball for Circle City Athletics. Tons of fun, well maintained and bathrooms are usually clean
I love the Team and I hope they make it to the MLS
Great game with great friends, beautiful weather, and good beer
