After paying $20 dollars to get into the club after 2 1/2 hours no one was there not even the strippers they promised then went out to smoke the door lady said I have to pay an additional $20 dollars to get back in lol let the west side have this dusty lil spot it wasn’t even worth $5 honestly

I went to this place for the first time. The music was good but the rest of other activities ruined my night. First, it was mostly empty throughout the night. Then later a fight broke out and someone threatened me for no reason (I was sitting at the bar). I had no clue what really was going on. The whole experience discouraged me from visiting this place again.As a traveler of many cities, I try to enjoy restaurants/bars/clubs that play African music. My Club Kalakutah experience wasnt a pleasant one. Im sure, that wasnt the owners intention but they can do better to make it a friendly place.

I wish I was able to not even give one star honestly. They treat clients very disrespectful but that’s a topic for another day. I wanted to order a bottle so I asked for a menu and they didn’t have a one. So I had to keep asking if they have this or that. I picked a bottle and after they had charged my card they said it was not up for sale and offered a smaller quantity and type of bottle. And that’s without mentioning there was a brawl inside and outside of this establishment. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time going to this disorganized filthy place.
