Not sure what I expected but the museum underwhelmed me. Yet, the women portraying Madam C.J. Walker was outstanding in representing this important historic figure.
Having come from the South before moving to Indiana, I admire the fact that Hoosiers have a great appreciation for history. This place is representative of that. The museums galleries do change and they uses digital technologies. The staff is pretty friendly and approachable (well...most). Also, if youre a researcher like me, the archives holds a vast amount of archival materials.
Beautiful building. Good place to learn about Indiana
