Vonnegut is, by far, my favorite author. This museum was a wonderful experience and a must do when visiting Indy. They had many great pieces in their collection. The tour guide did a fantastic job of presenting the absurdity of Vonneguts life, works, and legacy.

Simply a magical place. Drove from Pittsburgh to attend a tour last Friday and the curator did a great job.I cant wait to come back post-COVID!

If you get a chance to visit and are at all familiar with the works of Vonnegut, I highly recommend a stop to this museum. It is worth getting a tour from Max if he is available. We got so much more out of the experience with his first hand knowledge.

New museum so it’s not totally built-out. Some areas are in-process. Still a very nice museum! The curator took us around for a good 30 minutes, regailing us with KV stories! Learned a lot. Had an enjoyable two hour visit. Bought a few items from their little KV store and took off.

Update 19 November 2019: The permanent location for the museum at 543 Indiana Avenue is now open.Circle Center location is closed now. They will reopen in their permanent location on Indiana Avenue on or about September 22, 2019.

The website for the museum should issue a disclaimer that this really isnt a museum for Vonnegut, but rather an artist-in-resident forum.

What a great experience. You can get a very informative tour with the price of admission. So much is packed in this place I highly recommend it

I had high expectations before arriving and all of them were met. This is a small library and museum and it has fantastic items representing Kurts life. The person working gave a great little tour, and it was really nice being able to see the re-imagined workspace that Kurt actually had when he was alive. I really liked the store, as well. Pretty sweet little place--I hope it stays around!

Small but beautiful and intense little library and museum dedicated to Kurt Vonnegut and modest but fun selection of goods in their gift area for Vonnegut fans

The gentleman who gave us the tour is amazingly insightful and knowledgeable about all thing Vonnegut. He was kind and open to conversation and we stayed quite a while after the tour ended just to speak with him. The collection the museam had is extensive and very well curated. Would reccomend to any new or old fans of Vonnegut!
