Recently remodeled and upgraded- now this theatre is the nicest in town! They have a private ‘rent the theatre’ experience that feels truly VIP for a reasonable price which includes popcorn and soda for up to 20 people. It was a memorable experience! The manager, Brandon, rolled out the red carpet! We will do it again soon!

If you go in expecting a dollar theater youll be pleased. It was inexpensive, and the popcorn wasnt terribly priced either (for theater pricing, large for four dollars). Id recommend it if youre looking for a cheap movie. Wasnt crowded either.

Our seats were great, they had a tray that swings over to put your treats on, and theyre is no extra cost for those seats. The movie picture was very clear and great sound.

We had a blast the new seats are great. Staff is super friendly. We have an awesome time every time we go there.

Our first time going to this theatre. We were so thankful that we got to see Croods 2 since other theaters are closed. We were so surprised. The place is so cute. The staff(i think owner) treated us like we already knew him. Very amazing to go in a business and be treated like family visiting. So refreshing since customer service has went downhill since covid. But not here! We will be going here to see movies from now on. I seen a review on here putting them down for covid protocols and I feel the very opposite. We were spaced apart and Im sorry but if you are terrified of covid stay home and dont go to the movies unless you can invent a way to eat popcorn and drink through a mask then yes people will have it off. Any time you go in public YOU(not the theatre) are making the decision to risk it. This theatre was absolutley safe and we love the seats! Totally worth the dollar extra for the vip seating! Prices are phenomenal. Cant say enough good stuff about this place.

Wonderful discount theatre that is on par with newer (and full-price) movie theaters Ive visited!! Its not trashy, falling apart, dirty, or uncomfortably aged in any way, from appearence, to quality, to overall feel of theatre. $4.00 movies? Why yes please! And yes I can afford popcorn and a drink with that:) 100% suggest going here it you live in the Idaho Falls area, or if youre in town and want to catch a good movie! We most recently watched The Greatest Showman here. No complaints at all:)

Before COVID, my family and I loved coming to the Paramount Theatre. It was affordable and family friendly, though the seats themselves needed a facelift. We were excited to come to the Paramount Theatre again when we heard they were going to be implementing COVID protocols and limiting the number of people in the theater. We went to see the new Croods movie today and there was absolutely no effort to social distance. Not even a little. They allowed one seat between us and the next family but just about the entire theater was filled with people and 3/4 of them were not wearing masks at all.The renovations were great. We look forward to coming back to the theater when COVID is not as much of a risk. However, at the moment, dont believe what they are saying about taking precautions. Just like the rest of the state, Paramount Theatre has thrown caution to the wind and is acting like everythings back to normal. As much as I wish it were different, it is currently irresponsible to spend money at Paramount Theatre.

This place was generally the discount movies in town. But theyve made some upgrades. It also appears they will be installing the full reclining chairs. I went last night, enjoyed the experience. Some people like their popcorn, I dont.

What a great place to see a movie! I came here as a kid. It was great then and it is great now. The movie prices are great and the refreshments are cheap enough that you can actually afford them. It might not be as fancy as other theaters but the screen and sound system are great!

The tickets were very affordable. And the movie was great. The popcorn was great as long as you dont get the kids special. It was very clean and the service was pretty good. The bathrooms are clean but the line was long. I think you should get more bathroom stalls.

Love going to the paramount! You get to see pretty recent movies at a decent price! I can take the whole family and not break the bank. And theyre drinks and snacks will keep you and your wallet full. Theyve made improvements over the years and it shows! Thank you for serving Idaho Falls area!

Great place! I just wish they would change to butterfly popcorn instead of mushroom. There are so many kernels its hard to eat.

Great local theater, friendly staff, comfortable seats, clean, and of course excellent prices. The good pricing goes not only for the movie tickets, but the concessions as well. The large popcorn and 2 drinks combo is only $9.50 and includes refills, and they have kids combos for only $2.50.Heads up - there is a $1 charge for using a card for payment. If you are using it both for tickets and for concessions though, they will only charge you that dollar fee once.

The prices cant be beat. It is way less hectic and more laid back than Edwards. The movie ticket and prices for popcorn and soda are awesome and saves a ton of money compared to the other theaters around here. Its worth the wait to go see movies at the Paramount. You wont go broke just to go to the movies!! Oh and bonus!! You dont have to park a half mile away.

The young man working on Friday June 12th 2020 was to busy talking to a co-worker or his girlfriend to notice me my boyfriend and my boyfriend coming and when he finally helped the three of us he continued to talk to his girlfriend or co-worker he also just stared at me while he got my popcorn and my drinks but the young lady that was working as Well she was blonde she was really polite and did not stare at me like the young man did he made me feel very uncomfortable when stared at me the blonde should get promoted because she is so polite to the customers I wish I would have gotten her name.

Despite the long lines we got impeccably quick service. And although we had shown up a few minutes late to the movie we were there to see we missed nearly none of it. Good snacks and we had such a good time

Great theater. We really like it here. They always have a good selection of movies. And they have a floss pick dispenser machine. How perfect and thoughtful is that!

Always clean and courteous. Make sure to bring a date and tske advantage of their date night rate. This is a cheap theater so most of their movies have been out weeks or a few months ago.

Its a little run down, but its inexpensive. They also do new and old movies which I like. I work a lot and dont always have the time to go see new movies. So the ability to go see new movies that have been out a while is nice.

The date was great, chose the right girl to go with. The theater was quick to get us what we needed and made it easy to enjoy without annoying flashlights of people being served mid movie like other theaters.

Excellent staff who were very friendly and expeditious in their jobs. Descent movie watching experience except for the fact that the screen in theater 3 is bent all over and makes for an eyesore during the movie.

Love the seating. Lots of room, cool video games and pin ball. Staff seems to be mainly from high school but they work hard and smile (a lot). Easy to get lost finding your movie as well but overall Paramount Rocks.

I love the paramount theater! Its such a great value for both the movie and concessions! The movie was $4 and for a large popcorn and a big refillable drink it was only $6. Its well taken care of and clean.

It is the cheap theater in town but has been recently updated. The drink options are great and the popcorn is really good.

Always fun and friendly. Very affordable and clean. Today they were giving away their old movie posters as and added bonus to our day.

Dont expect to be helped when their stocking. My hubby and I just went in to get tickets for a 6:45 movie. They were stocking some things. We yelled excuse me like 4 times and were ignored. They could have at least said just a min or something. But no. They choose to ignore us until they were done, and then we were helped and got out tickets. Otherwise, good and cheap place to watch a movie.

Awesome place for a cheap date. They dont gouge you on the popcorn and soda. The tickets are a lot cheaper and the experience is just a little lower than Edwards at a fraction of the price. Many movies are well worth waiting to watch them here.

The price is perfect. The concessions have a wide variety. The atmosphere itself is quite dated and needs some work, but hey, you’re there for a cheap movie! The popcorn isn’t very good so I never get it. But my kids love the cheap candy and drinks. I usually always wait for Edwards to “pass” the movies onto paramount because you just can beat the price...plus the service is prompt and pretty friendly.

A nice, smaller theater offering comfortable seating and unobstructed viewing no matter the size of the person in front of you. ( The gentleman in front of me was well over 66)The staff was very accommodating and friendly and the concession prices were lower than any theater Ive been to in decades.Well definitely be returning for a movie here.

Heads up if you buy tickets through the website- there are TWO Idaho Falls locations. They don’t make it clear at all, so check your ticket to make sure you know which theater to go to. Our kids missed the first 10 minutes of Frozen 2 because we thought we were seeing it at this address when it was actually at the Centre Twin across town.

Great theater! It plays older movies, but it is so cheap. Every Black Friday, they sell tickets redeemable anytime for $2 per ticket! Great price, great deal, and still a pretty big screen for a budget theater. Very impressive.

This theater is great! They offer a wide variety of movies for less than the big movie theater. Their popcorn and candy selection is great and low prices. You can even get different popcorn and drink options. They also work with the local schools for field trips and summer movie cards.

I recently went to the Paramount to see the new movie Pitch Perfect 3. It was a Friday night so I assumed that it was going to be pretty busy and also know from previous experience that the movie theaters are not that big and do not seat that many. But surprisingly we got in and there was hardly anyone in the theater and the movie quality was actually pretty good and the price is a lot better than Edwards Theater at about 8 to $9 a ticket.
