Extremely cloudy the evening we were there so view wasnt awesome. Can see how when you have a good sunset the view would be awesome with all the trees/colors in view.

Beautiful hiking trails

This trail has some of the best views in Huntsville

Not too bad trails. Nothing very special to see other than neighborhoods from the top of the mountain

Moderately challenging hike up Bill and Marian Certain Trail. The trail is rustic and the scenery is nice and serene. The views at the top are great. I came back the West Bluff Trail where there are excellent views of south Huntsville. you can see all the way to the Tennessee River. The West Bluff Trail runs parallel to the Certain Trail and then intersects it for a downhill hike to the parking lot.

Such a gorgeous place! Its a steep hike, but Ive never found a more beautiful place to do it - and North Alabama is FULL of beautiful places. The peace, and the views you can get here, are unparalleled.

So pretty, the trails were a little muddy when we went, but it was nice and not too difficult for my 5 year old.

So far the best higher altitude view Ive been able to get of Huntsville. The trails are well marked and easy. Ive hiked a lot of really long trails and Id rate these a 1 or 2/10 on the difficulty scale.

The natural areas are beautiful and relaxing

A fun hike. the trails arent as clear-cut so it feels a little more like wandering through the woods compared to other places where the trails are flat, clearly marked or paved.
