Going at night I believe is the best time to go. A fun walk for occasions such as a date, girls night out, and even for a personal break from the world.

Wish this place had more available hours. If you are lucky enough to be in the area on the few days they give tours, do it. Its a short tour of about a half hour. Well worth two bucks.

Went today during their scheduled time per their website and it was closed. Called the number listed and the phone line was disconnected. My 8 year old who was looking forward to the visit was very disappointed and asked me to post this review.

The Newland House Museum is the oldest residence built in the City of Huntington Beach. The Newland House was built in 1898 for Huntington Beach pioneers William and Mary Newland and their ten children. The Huntington Beach Historical Society maintains the museum which is open to the public for tours.
