We visited later during the night so it was easier to find parking and less crowded. Its also a lot prettier when they lights are on, as compared to daytime hours. This is a very beautiful exhibit and lighting makes every picture you take look amazing.
It was super packed. It was hard to get a picture. But overall it was a nice experience. The area is also super packed. Street parking and construction everywhere, it reminded me of San Francisco downtown. Overly packed and congested with people, and construction everywhere, and no parking.
This Surfing Museum is a loving tribute to the history and sport of SURFING and its colorful heroes! Its also great place to hold special events too with plenty of parking close by! I recently attended a packed night and all the surfing greats showed up!
Awesome! Perfect to be in the nature, meditate, enjoy beautiful landscapes and know more about other countries vegetation. Good food, good people! Ive enjoyed a lot and became a member
Surfs up. Very cool spot to check out. Worth the time and money. Not huge but not many places who will have what they do regarding surfing.
I was looking forward to checking out the museum today when visiting Huntington Beach. I followed the sign on the main boulevard, unfortunately couldn’t find the sign of the museum or entrance, I followed the main directional signpost again and again couldn’t find the building or entrance.Such a shame, the reviews are good.Better directional signage required.
Very cool and interesting place to visit. Definitely recommend going and checking out. Lots of history to learn and they have the worlds largest surfboard
Friendly service. Knowledgeable staff. My daughter loved it. Now she wants to move to California and learn how to surf!
Very cool and interesting place to visit.
Pretty awesome the history and stories about everything was cool
Cool, quick stop when nearby. Its run by some terrific people. Nice how the exhibition changes regularly.
Cool local find. Worth a stop to check out.
Best and most informative surfing museum I’ve been to
Great little museum which captures the towns love and devotion to the sport of surfing and for its care and support of the young people pursuing the sport as well. Dont miss this one.
Awesome place, great experience and good content!
Wonderful place with such a great overview of surf history. Check it out!
If you come to HB and you are a surfer or not this is a good place to come visit. You can learn the history of surfing and the history of how surfing came to HB. Easy access by foot. Parking is always a nightmare in beach communities but what else did you expect. If you want to get off main st away from the circus of individuals walking around this is a breath of fresh air. I will return
I grew up in HB and going to the surf museum, but had not been in several years. I was very happy with the difference and it is still awesome. Exhibits rotate every about 4 months I was told, so make sure to return for different exhibits.
Cool place to check out. They also have small church service on sundays around 10am in the parking lot.
If you go to Huntington beach you need go to visit this place. Is very small place but with a little of history about surf. The museum is free.
Cool place, especially if its raining! Worlds largest surfboard, and great hostess.
Fun and informative......good surf history presentation.
Great little museum. Id highly recommend it for anyone visiting Huntington Beach with any interest in surfing and skateboarding history.
Small museum but perfect for those who love surfing
Interesting place even for non surfers like me.
Great cozy museum sharing the love of surfing and surf culture. Very knowledgeable staff!
Great history... Well worth the small donation to walk back in time
Super small and not worth the price. I mean I guess it seems like a must do when visiting Surf City USA, but they charge you extra to get a tour of the giant surf board outside that you just see from the sidewalk. The woman says two sentences and then leaves you in the parking lot. You have to run around the front if you want to get back in.
Loved this museum! Tina was very nice and showed me around the museum, while telling me about the history of surfing. I learned so much and will definitely be returning to check out events and new exhibits!
Surfing Museum explains it all.
The International Surfing Museum is hosting a new Exhibit called SURF/SKATEI believe thats its so exciting to see how skateboards got started. For a small admissions of $3.00 for adults and $1.00 18 and under, 3 and under is free. So come on it and get your history on in the surfing culture. You diffenlty will not be disappointed. Mahalo Luki from International Surf Museum.
Great place to see many historic surf boards.
Fun and interesting for everyone
I have always thought that as far as museums go this one is too small especially to cover surfing. They do rotate their collection and have special exhibits so check thier website for their schedule or to view a particular topic of interest.
Vanessa is awesome
Very interesting, nice staff
Great for local experience of the surfing world. Interesting exhibits and local surfing history.
Tiny but oh so cute and worth the very few minutes it takes to go through, love the vintage theatre seating for the endless summer (that was the movie playing when I was there)...Some vintage surf history here
Super chill little Shop, I got to talk to the front desk ladies as much as anything else.
The Huntington Beach International Surfing Museum is a fun stop in Huntington Beach, California. The Surfing Museum is dedicated to preserving the past, participating in the present, and influencing the future of all aspects of the surfing culture worldwide.
I was expecting a museum but got more of a gallery experience. Its inexpensive and still worth a quick look.
Nice but really small....
Dope history on surfing and skateboarding along the beach
Top!
Cool place
Cool
If you are a surfing fan, this is a must
Love the incredible history here.
