We visited later during the night so it was easier to find parking and less crowded. Its also a lot prettier when they lights are on, as compared to daytime hours. This is a very beautiful exhibit and lighting makes every picture you take look amazing.

It was super packed. It was hard to get a picture. But overall it was a nice experience. The area is also super packed. Street parking and construction everywhere, it reminded me of San Francisco downtown. Overly packed and congested with people, and construction everywhere, and no parking.

Nice quaint museum which primarily captures the history of Surfing in Huntington Beach and the NSSA. A nice collection of boards and recognition of local and pro surfers accomplishments. Very modest admission fee and free for US military vets.

I was looking forward to checking out the museum today when visiting Huntington Beach. I followed the sign on the main boulevard, unfortunately couldn’t find the sign of the museum or entrance, I followed the main directional signpost again and again couldn’t find the building or entrance.Such a shame, the reviews are good.Better directional signage required.

If you come to HB and you are a surfer or not this is a good place to come visit. You can learn the history of surfing and the history of how surfing came to HB. Easy access by foot. Parking is always a nightmare in beach communities but what else did you expect. If you want to get off main st away from the circus of individuals walking around this is a breath of fresh air. I will return

I grew up in HB and going to the surf museum, but had not been in several years. I was very happy with the difference and it is still awesome. Exhibits rotate every about 4 months I was told, so make sure to return for different exhibits.

Super small and not worth the price. I mean I guess it seems like a must do when visiting Surf City USA, but they charge you extra to get a tour of the giant surf board outside that you just see from the sidewalk. The woman says two sentences and then leaves you in the parking lot. You have to run around the front if you want to get back in.

The International Surfing Museum is hosting a new Exhibit called SURF/SKATEI believe thats its so exciting to see how skateboards got started. For a small admissions of $3.00 for adults and $1.00 18 and under, 3 and under is free. So come on it and get your history on in the surfing culture. You diffenlty will not be disappointed. I have always thought that as far as museums go this one is too small especially to cover surfing. They do rotate their collection and have special exhibits so check thier website for their schedule or to view a particular topic of interest.
