I loved this show! We saw 5 different comedians from the area, Los Angeles and CA. It was a lot of fun and so cheap!!! I highly recommend it!

Excellent standup comedy. Its your typical nice setup with a bunch of two top tables in a cozy room and a 2 drink minimum. Youve got the host, warm up acts, and a quality headliner. Show starts at 7pm. Tickets are around $20. They also have a late night show at 10pm with up and coming acts. There are attentive servers who take care of you all night. Good selection of beers on tap. Pretty good food. They have flatbreads, sliders, and a variety of appetizers. The pretzel bites are good with a nice cheese sauce. The chicken caesar salad is excellent with a nice homemade dressing. In fact I recommend extra dressing. Adjoining this comedy club is a nice big bar, pool table, pinball machines, and bowling. Also adjoining is a Boomers type facility which has a modern arcade, bumper cars, rock climbing wall, obstacle course like American Ninja Warrior, laser tag, laser maze, and of course glow in the dark mini golf. But they keep a nice separation and separate entrances between the comedy club and the Boomers type facility.

The show is hilarious, the moment the show starts u will never stop laughing... we will make sure to watch this show whenever we are in town ... everybody was nice and friendly

I have never heard of the Rec Room. While searching for up- coming tour dates for our favorite comedian Jim Florentine. We stumbled across the Rec Room. This venue is so much more. Upon arrival we noticed the actual space is huge. We walked in and in front of us was a large bar which offers snacks and beer on tap and cocktails.To our right was a glow in the dark minature golf coarse, maze and and an old school arcade. Most games are a quarter to play. Yasssss and also a bowling alley. The comedy club was connected to the bar. Its an intimate cozy venue. With a 2 drink minimum. They also served food. We sat in the front and absolutely enjoyed the comedy show. This place is a hidden gem. I will absolutely go again. So much fun for a date and with family so much to do.

Small place and thats what made it all worth while. If you want a good seat they are all good seats. Come early for stage and front row. House comedians were funny and warned up the crowd for our headliner. Two item per person minimum so be ready for that. Melissa Villasenor was outstanding as always and kind enough to take pictures with her fans after the show.

This place is super cool. Reminds me of when I was a kid going to places like Golf-n-Stuff. Lots to do and its done right. Will be back many times

Food was bad comedy was good forgot the Bacon on my slider and brought this microwave stuff worth $15. Nachos so soggy from the grease and meat was like 3 hrs old.

I saw Craig Shoemaker last year here. I was part of a group and had never been there before. He was awesome and the club was incredible. In a strip mall, sharing a space with a bowling alley and an indoor glow in the dark putt putt golf place, who would have thought that such a great comedy club would be there. I will go back and I recommend it to all of my friends.

Great venue! Very intimate. Went to watch Daniel Eachus. Had the mango habanero wings. They were good! Spicy chicken pie was aight. Could use more sauce.

Great intimate venue. Prices for food & drink are a bit much, but not terrible and the portions are larger than expected.Really liked the rest of the place outside the comedy club & bar section. Looks like a great date night place.

I would give it 5 stars but they use plastic cups!!!!! We are killing the planet!!!! Wake up! Other than that, the comedy shows have great service, good choices of food to go with drinks. Dark atmosphere. Like Dave and Busters basically, only with an obstacle course.

Ive been to the Rec Room twice. Both times were so fun. The stand up was great, nice selection of fun food, and cool staff! I definitely recommend it!

Have been to several comedy shows here. I love it. You get to see some great talent, both newcomers and established talent.

Great venue to see some of the best comedians around. Every table is a good table because the club is not too big. The servers were great and the club offers enough menu items for dinner too. Perfect place for a date night or a night with a group of friends. Cant wait to go back.

What a cool place. First time I have been there, went to see my cousins comedy show on Tuesday, every seat is awesome, very intimate venue. The Glow Room looks like a super fun spot to bring the kids. Full bar and a nice choice of food. I highly recommend this place.

Saw Dan Cummins and John Hock at the Rec Room tonight. 2 drink minimum but well worth the comedy.

Went here on a Saturday night and they put on a good show. The tickets were pretty cheap, they have a two drink minimum (but were not super strict about it) and they serve food. This is a really small venue so every seat in the house is pretty good. Youre really close to the stage and can hear everything in the room. The drinks here are pretty good and the food did not disappoint either.During the show my only complaint was the kitchen and the bar did not seem to be able to keep up with the demands of the amount of people there took a very long time for food and drinks to come out. The guy came to our table several times with food after weve already had it looking confused like they didnt really know what orders were going to what table.Overall its a good spot for stand-up comedy and they also have a cool bar area with arcade and a whole recreation and play area going on on the other side.

Saw Sh#t faced Shakespeare at laugh The Rec Room and it was hysterical. Food was good. Drinks were ok... they didnt seem to know what was in specific drinks but they came out good. And the players just made our night.Highly recommend this play

This places wild, its a full on bar and kids laser tag jungle gym rolled into one. Its an experience to say the least. Must try at least once.

I really like the venue, but table service was hit and miss. Prices were reasonable and a full bar without gimmicky signature drinks was refreshing. Loved seeing Kyle Kinane there!

This place is honestly the best place ever if you think about it. It’s a shame that 6 stars aren’t an option because this place definitely deserves it. Shananigans710 and Lacat16 approved, (yes we are the rocket league grand champions). Also DJ Dent is the best DJ ever. It’s really hard being that famous yet he really reaches out and connects with his fans, (yes we were backstage with DJ dent, 50k for an authentic autographed DJ Dent poster sold on my eBay account @DJDentsBiggestFan).

This bar was used as the drag bar for 2018s A Star is Born, so I had to visit. Came here on Whiskey Wednesday. I had a lot of fun. The vibe was chill. I would definitely come back.

Have been there twice now. Both for a well known comic and Unconventional Lesbians(highly recommend!). All the comedians on both visits were hilarious. A smaller room, but everyone has a good seat.

Food left something to be desired. Flatbread wasnt flat bread, it was a flour tortilla, soggy and too much cheese.

Small room with a ceiling too low for comedy. The comedians were great and the food pretty decent. The main problem that particular night was the heat, not a regular problem however, something to do the the AC system.

Strangely a weird and cool place! Went to see Dan Cummins, thought it was a comedy club, turned out to be much, much more. An indoor neon putt-putt golf course, arcade, bowling alley, heard there was a race car track, and very cool bar!! All in the corner of this strip mall. What a pleasant surprise to find. Great for kids and adults, lots to do, great Vive and energy.

This was very different from my first time here. I had won VIP tickets at a networking event here a few weeks prior and when I arrived with my 3 other guests, we didnt get any kind of VIP treatment. We were let in for free, but they seated us in the crowd with everybody at a regular table. They say other people around us after that while we decided what we should order. We waited for probably 30 mins as they brought other people food who arrived after us, and they hadnt even taken out order yet. Once we did glad somebody down, they couldnt figure out of they were supposed to be serving us or if someone else was. Once we placed our orders and they were brought out, there were incorrect items brought out, that we didnt mention because we were just so hungry, and then after explain how to split the check, they messed that up too. I still have a good impression of GlowZone/Rec Room overall, and the comedy was good, but the experience that night was just far below what I would expect when they say I have VIP.

I love this place. If you enjoy the Improv at the Irvine Spectrum, the atmosphere here will feel very similar, just in a smaller physical space. Lots of up and coming comics but theyve even started having big name performers hit the stage. Definitely a great place for a date.

We showed up at 6 pm to be told the show had been canceled and rescheduled 2 months later. We were told we got an email because EVERYONE else had!!! I checked to find to my dismay an email was sent at 3pm. We took off work to attend and were expected a 3 hour notice of cancellation was sufficent ? This was bs!!! Never going back and well just have to go to Irvine or LB. Dont waste your time going to the Rec Room or take your chances on a rude attendant and no show!

This place is really hard to find as its part of the grow zoneComedy room is a large size and they have a large lounge area with plenty of seating.Bar area is a good size with a full stocked bar. Only downside is that they didnt have the michelada mix chilled and had to drink a semi warm drink.Overall place is cool and would like to come back one day to catch a show.

This place gets busy on a Saturday evening, book your tickets early! The bar has plenty of seating and a nice menu with a good selection of bar food. The staff are very friendly and helpful, this is also right next to the Glow Zone so there is a lot of action going on and cool things to do.

I absolutely love this place. The food is awesome (top-notch artichoke dip, buffalo cauliflower, flatbreads, and burgers are what Ive tried and fallen in love with so far); the craft beer selection has everything you need and a lot of local stuff; atmosphere is cool and fun (glow bowling and gaming on the all-ages side, vintage arcade games and a bar on the other); the service is great; and they have some stellar comedy acts. What could be better than full drink and dining service in a tiny club where you can watch great comedy every night? I wish I could go more often.

Cozy intimate venue even tho its inside a discount Dave & Busters haha. Saw Jamie Kennedy there and even he had to mention how nice the venue was during his set. Great sound and lighting but lost one star due to a REALLY long wait for food. They apologized at the end of the night since not everyones food came out, but hopefully theyre learning and getting the logistics down.

I have been a long time listener of stand-up comedy and I listen to a lot of different comedy podcasts but this was the first time Ive been to a stand-up comedy show and I loved it the rec room was a very good experience there was probably less than 100 people seated the room was packed and we happen to be the last people to get in we should have gotten our tickets first but we were lucky enough to slide in and get the last table it was a great show I had the best birthday

Kyle Kinane was incredible, nice enough place, my only complaint is how hot it got in the comedy venue. It was miserably hot by the end of the show, even Kyle commented on it.

Chose to try a new venue for a comedy show at the Rec Room and regretted it almost instantly. Sat for 20 minutes before a waitress took our order meanwhile the entire row behind us who arrived later had their refreshments before the show began.

Phenom spot!! Talent has been Awesome!! I try and make it once every 4/6 weeks. Staff is great as well!! A must visit!!

The place was great but the service was terrible. It took forever for my drink to arrive and my food took even longer. I thought to myself, maybe Im just really hungry, but no. The bill arrived and he took my card. Comes back with another card (same bank) and I didnt notice. He came back and fixed the problem but I had some elses card in my wallet!
