My son (age 6) swims with Coach Jolie and she is wonderful! She has given him confidence and pushes him to do his best. He really enjoys going and working with her each week.Edit to add:My older (age 8) son swims with Coach Nathan and he has been great with getting my oldest to focus and swim his best. He has been helping him perfect the details with different strokes.Both my boys were looking forward to being on our community swim team this past summer but COVID ruined that. They have been thrilled to get back in the pool and working toward next season.

I cant say enough good thing about FINS!They offer a free swim evaluation to help place your kid in the best class for them.They offer many packages of times and frequency of lessons.The waiting room has water, vending machines, lots of chairs for observation, a TV with cartoons playing, and some books for other kids not swimming to read.We had Ms. Renee as an instructor and she did amazing with our 4 year old. He started in Angel level and she had him past that and in the next level in about 5 lessons!They do a great job with progress reporting so it is easy to see what skills are mastered and what they are working on. This comes in handy if you want to keep helping your kid at your own pool later.

They are very professional, have a lot patience and love to the little swimmers, my daughter has improved so much since she started a year ago with coach Candice, thanks to her for been such a great coach.

Both of my boys are students at FINS. My oldest started when he was 8 months old and is almost 5 and absolutely loves the water...can swim better than I do and is talking about want to do swim team. My youngest has been going for about 2 years and even though he cried when he would have to leave me, the coaches did anything they could to make it a positive experience for him and hes really enjoying it. We worked with several coaches over the years, Kimberly, Ashley, Sharon, Alondra, Candace, Klarissa and I know Ive missed more....but theyve all been fantastic and taught my boys not only to swim but to be safe around the water....which is of the upmost importance.

Ms. Alondra is fully focused and invested in her lesson with my three year old. They are progressing with skills and safety weekly. Fins staff is professional, communicative and friendly.

I signed our grandkids up for swim lessons for a 2 weeks time. And they both were able to have coach mCKenna which they love. She is awesome with our boys. And now we have signed them up for another 2 week session with same coach.

We love Fins. The instructors are great. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. My kids love going and are learning slot! They are not only learning how to swim but they are learning water safety skills. I would highly recommend Fins to anyone!!!!!

Fins has been a wonderful place for my child to start learning water safety. All the staff is excellent, from the instructors to the people working the front desk. I love the flexibility they offer with class times, as well as the ease to reschedule a make-up class. I highly recommend for anyone interested in giving your child an introduction into water safety and swim lessons.

My 3 boys have attended FINS for several years and highly recommend this swim school. They have friendly and competent instructors and are very experienced teaching children of all ages. Worth every penny!

Our little one started fins after using a floatie and refusing to even try to go without one and train with her daddy. After 3 weeks of power swims this summer she has moved up 3 levels and is doing amazing. Our fears of he falling or jumping in without a floatie are much alleviated as she is now well on her way to being a fish :) It remarkable how well she is doing and her favorite has been Coach Megan and Rylie. The facilites are clean, you can watch the whole time, and they are super nice. We could not be more thankful.

My son was not fond of swimming. We attempted to teach him several times on our own with no success.The teachers at Fins were very patient with his discomfort/fears of swimming. After he pushed through his first few months his progress was outstanding.I am very grateful to the staff at Fins who worked both with our scheduling and timid disposition about swimming.Thank you!!!

I originally wanted my daughter to learn to swim because I noticed she had an aversion to letting water hit her face in the shower, but I also wanted her to learn a basic life skill for safety reasons. We checked out Fins because it came recommended by several family friends. I have to say I am very pleased with the facility, the staff and the quality and level of instruction my child has had! Its wonderful and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants their child to learn to swim! 10/10 would recommend!

Awesome service! My sons swim instructor was great with my kids. She even remembered them from last summer. I love the progress updates and tips to help work with them at home in between classes. The front desk was very accommodating in trying to coordinate different leveled classes for my two so we wouldnt have to go back and forth to the center or give up our other evening activities for swim lesson time. Everyone is pleasantly nice and helpful. Also, kids can go year round for updates as desired. I highly recommend FINS.

My daughter loves FINS! We intially started here just to learn water safety but we continue going now just because she loves it so much. She has progressed quickly! A little expensive but totally worth it.

This is our second summer in a row of signing up our children (currently ages 3 & 4) for several FINS “power sessions.” We’ve been so happy with the results! It’s amazing to see how quickly the children progress and learn such important skills. We’ve had Ms. Lana, Ms. Cassidy, and Mr. Hayden as instructors. They’re all wonderful and have such encouraging interactions with my children. Theyre great teachers! Thank you FINS!

I absolutely love FINS! My 15 month old started coming to FINS around 9 months. At first I thought she was too young but in fact that was the perfect age. The team has diligently worked with her which I love. During Baby FINS the team focuses on getting the babies comfortable with the water and practices basic swim movements. My daughter loves the songs that go with exercise-Tic Tac is her favorite!

Staff is always super courteous and ready to help. The instructors are great at dealing with cranky sometimes distracted kids and I am happy to say that my child has come a very long way since she started in May!

My daughter went to fins not being able to swim at all and in about 6 months, she has made it all the way to Gold fins taking lessons 1-2 times per week. We have had a great experience!

I began my swimming lessons at another facility. After unprofessional treatment, I decided to give FINS Swim school in Atascocita a try. To say FINS Swim School is the antithesis of the other facility is an understatement. The staff is not only professional, but they are also encouraging. And, jiminy cricket, they dont need to tell you to relax because their temperament and interpersonal skills provide an environment conducive to relaxing. At the other facility, I was taking private lessons and ignored. At FINS Swim, Im taking group lessons, and I feel the instructors are significantly more engaged. The staff is responsive, energetic, customer focus, friendly, and appear to like what they are doing. While they allow me to move at my own pace, they continue to encourage me to learn new techniques. I wholeheartedly recommend FINS Swim School to any adult or child regardless if you are fearful of the water or want to improve your technique. Im 49 years old and am just learning to swim. And, because my experience has been consistently phenomenal with 5 different instructors, I now want to begin saving my money to purchase an exercise pool. I had no idea I would enjoy the workout. I initially wanted to learn before I learn to scuba dive. You guys are rock stars!!!! Thank you FINS Swim School.

We love Fins! Both my kids have taken lessons. My oldest has been swimming at fins for two years. She is learning the advanced strokes and she is 5. My little one was petrified of the water when we started mommy and me. They worked with us and got him comfortable with the water. He can now get back to the edge by himself. My son started classes at FINS in January 2019. He had zero experience in the water. In the beginning he was very timid and unsure of himself. The teachers were all patient with him and very encouraging. In just six months he has grown so much in his skills and confidence. We are so pleased with the instructors and the program.

Fins Atascocita staff is amazing. Instructors and front desk are always helpful and happy. My toddler is always ready to swim and has learned so much very fast here. Highly recommend.

FINS has been great for helping our girls learn how to swim! I highly recommend this location.

We have been taking our son to fins since he was 14 months old. The teachers are very sweet and caring and I am always impressed there is not an overwhelming chlorine smell when you walk in, or on your swimsuit when you leave like other indoor pools. I think it is a bit expensive for a 30 minute swim lesson when a parent is in the water with the child, but it appears to be the going rate in the area.

We LOVE Fins. My daughter has taken lessons off and on here for two years (according to our time and budget) and we have only ever had the best of experiences with them. They teach in a loving manner with logical rules and presentation of those rules. The reason Im finally leaving a review, however, is from our most recent experience... We arrived to our lesson and the store was closed for the day. I had never been so proud of a company that I give money to. Our area had horrible storms and flooding, and even though the location was high and dry and safe they thought of their PEOPLE first. As a customer is it a bummer to have the schedule disrupted? Sure. But Fins had the safety and well-being of their employees in mind when they made that decision and that was so obvious. Thank you for taking care of your employees, it leaves them in a better state of mind to care for my kid.

Amazing...attentiveness of the swimmers

The lessons taught are designed to drag out as many sessions as possible instead of teaching children to swim and God forbid save their own lives.Do yourself a favor and find private instructors. This is merely a profit center with a bunch of incapable teenagers running the place.Run from this place not only did they drag out lessons they teach incorrect techniques. You can have a child swimming in 5 weeks not 5 years by again rude and novice teens that are simply there for a minimum wage check. Their is a lack of passion and experience and it shows.Please take the time to investigate passionate, private teachers it could save your childs life. These people should be ashamed of themselves.

Our grand-daughters thoroughly enjoy the swim lessons at the Atascocita FINS location. Friendly and helpful staff. Our major concern is the uncontrolled young children running with their heads looking backwards playing chase and screaming at the top of their lungs. A very chaotic environment. While a 3 year-old is not really accountable I believe the management needs to hold the parents responsible for the dangerous and very unpleasant activities.

Simply the best place for kids to learn the art of swimming amidst fun and happy instructors.My 4 year old use to dread the idea of a swim class,but now after few classes she truly loves it and enjoys it to the fullest.. No more scared and unhappy...I want to personally thank everyone at FINS, be it the front desk or the instructors,and especially Miss Jasmine who made this journey so playful, happy and enjoyable for my lil princess....The place is very clean and staff very patient with each kid,and understanding their unique capabilities very well!!We love FINS!!! Amazing customer service & schedule flexibility!

My boys have been taking swim lessons for almost a year and have learned so much from FINS. They really enjoy their lessons and the staff have all been great.

Our two boys have enjoyed going to the Atascocita location. Our oldest has swam there once a week for two years and is a very proficient swimmer now, and has had several coaches along the way, all of whom he has really enjoyed. He liked it so much he had his birthday party there. The coaches have always been encouraging, attentive and Ive had absolutely no safety concerns. All the staff have been very friendly.

Great instructors!

I am LIVID! Literally just left crying I am so pissed off! I was told to sit and wait and they will call for my kids class. I sat and sat, a lady called for the same time class but not the same age group and not my kids name. Without ANYONE coming out for my kids class I see it was already started. No one to see to make sure they had everyone there who signed up or anything. So I paid, I waited all for nothing. This place is so unorganized and a complete joke! I get that truthfully it doesnt sound like a big deal but when you pay people in advance and they start without you and do not have the decency to see if youre there, thats crappy.

This Place is the Best! Its Clean (and not bcuz the chlorine smell, LoL), Staff is Courteous, Front Desk usually knows your kids name, the Classes are small (3 max per Instructor/Class) and the Swim Trainers seem to be pretty accompanying to each Childs level of ability and comfort/nervousness. We have a 5 yr old.

My son loves his swim class! Very friendly staff and instructors.

My son went 2 days a week for 3 months. They changed scheules and never notified me. They claimed to have emailed me and when we verified the email address some one had keyed it in wrong. During the 3 months he was there he learned absolutly NOTHING!!!! There where 2-3 other kids in the swim class giving each child 10 or less minutes of instruction. This place is only good if your child already knows how to swim and just needs practice for meets. All the instructors are children themselves in high school. I do not recomend this place if you are wanting your child to learn to swim. It would be better to higher a privite instructor.
