The most disgusting experience ever on 11/16. The chairs, tables, and flooring was nasty. Carpet had a smell of mildew and vomit. Counters were nasty, with grease stains and food on them. I came with a friend and our children and it was like we could not enjoy the movie due to believing bugs were near...lol. We did tell someone about the smell, I believe it was left alone. Very disappointed. If I could give no stars I would.

The odor in the theater was not pleasant. It smelt like a wet rug. The food service was slow. My appetizer came with the meal. The staff was friendly. The seating was comfortable. However, I wont be going back to this location.

Great Location and Services and Food

Terrible service I can never get my food no earlier than halfway through the movie, sometimes the employees ignore me even when I be having my phone on me and this time I had the menu on the ground with batteries right next to it. I would absolutely give this spot no stars in a heartbeat it has always been a terrible experience there no matter what!!! Those are some ignorant and dumb employees they hire I seriously recommend closing that spot down, because there is no hope for them.

This theatre was clean and the service was fast and great! The food was hot & delicious. I only gave it 4 stars because Im really not a big fan of dinner and movie places because the carpets & chairs being soft hold odors but this was not that bad! I really enjoyed it. Thank you!

Was nice to see a movie and tickets were fair price but man that theater is kinda bland. For example, some of the seats are office chairs and the call buttons to request service are stick on touch lights that do nothing unless your server actually sees it. Not the best, but not the worst place I been to see a movie

Amazing ticket prices, and hey, you get order food and stuff! Like, meals and drinks and such like a restaurant! Foods a little pricey, but its good stuff. And its optional.

Ive been here several times so far.Pros: Each time I have not been disappointed great food and drinks. The bacon and Swiss burger is really good. the admission is decently priced as well. Seating is comfortable. Service is very friendly.Cons: Waiters/Waitresses dont normally come back to give refills on drinks. would be nice to have a coaster so the table doesnt get wet. I had to get a different receipt because it got soaked. It does get warm in the theater.I recommend this place to everyone because its a great place to go. It hasnt been crowded at all the several times I have been there. I go here as often as I can for movies.

The service and staff are all excellent! Wonderful experience. I would like to be able to call them but they dont have the correct number on the website or no one answers the number that is on it. The website is a far less enjoyable experience. They need to upgrade it or do something to make it easier to get through.

Needs new chairs and a deep cleaning. Movie rooms smell like wet rag and chairs are ripped too. Customer service and food were good though.

Great Tuesday movie night experience. Decent bar food. Note: seats are appropriate for dining not for lounging. Staff was pleasantly attentive. I just wish they would take orders before the film starts rather than five minutes after.

Staff was nice and honest. We went to see The Rise of Skywalker on opening day and there were a total of 7 people in the theater! The food is over priced and horrible- we bought the chicken & waffles and churros... the portions were so hard and the waffles were burnt. The movie was great and we will go there again for that purpose

This place has never disappointed my little family. The prices are always decent and its nice to have a beer with a movie. That option makes it worth the while, it just makes it more fun and relaxing. The staff has never given us an issue, theyve always been poilte and accommodating.

Please Shampoo carpets and bring back original server callers. Not just a light that bothers other movie goers.

Smelly, $10.00 Titanic Tea with no alcohol in it. More bitter than spirits. They make you PAY for butter on your popcorn. Damn! What a great way to milk your customer. I was not impressed and how about with all that extra Cash from the butter and savings on the Alcohol youre keeping that I paid for how about some NEW comfortable Chairs. Those two stars were for my waiter Nice Guy.

Terrible service ordered drinks and popcorn never got it went to check up and see what was going on employees were no where in sight and the one lady I did talk to didn’t even care continued to sit down and eat her food! When I inquired about the drinks I ordered an hour ago she told me the bar was closed and the bartender was upstairs! A movie without popcorn is pretty pathetic!! GET EMPLOYEES WHO WANT TO WORK! My first and last time at this place unbelievable!!!

Our server was very polite and officiant everything was very clean and well set up prices were very high but food was really good I didnt like the fact that kids drinks were almost 3 dollars and couldnt refill them

This movie theatre was extremely hot. The popcorn was over over salty. How do you not cook popcorn right? I asked to speak to a manager several times to which she never came. At the end of the movie I waited for her and she admitted that a part was out. You don’t think you should fix the broken theatres before sitting paying customers down in there. I’ve been here several times and tasted the terrible food as well. I kept giving it a chance but this time I’m done. That extra hot theatre and the consistent unclean environment is too much for me.

The atmosphere is like watching a movie in a large conference room. I understand trying to be cost effective but to take away movie chairs and replace them with office chairs was a terrible decision.

Usually we like it here but last night the food was just plain gross. We ordered nachos and quesadillas. The nachos had no cheese and everything tasted old, and the popcorn was super salty.

Wish is was more comfortable seating, for a dollar less than deerbrook, we might as well.l start going back to deerbrook. The waiter helping us was rushing our order and also rushing us to finish so he could throw our trash away, interrupted the movie twice to ask us if we where done eating, as we are taking bites of our food. Very unprofessional. I get it, you wanna get home early, cool. Find a new job then. Customer service use to be #1 here. Cant believe how this place had gone down the gutter in just a few years

If you like bar food then youll like the food here. The wait time can be a little long depending on how big the crowd is. This is the only spot I go watch a movie.

This place is gross and filthy. My beer smelled and tasted like vinegar. The entire facility smelled sour. 4 people in our party and we were given 1 menu and when we asked for more you could see the hesitation.The sound from the adjacent screen was very noticeable and people were constantly talking. I would rate the experience on par with a 1$ theater.

My experience sucked. We walked in the employees were just staring at us very hostile like we ruined their break time or something. They didnt have change for $100 and I could see why. The waiter took 30 min after we pressed the button and all we wanted was candy and popcorn. We had to go to the front to call for them too. I didnt even want to dare try their actual food. The movie itself was really loud and sometimes you could hear the movie from the other room. The chairs suck but Id say invest in better employees and management before chairs.

We could not reserve seats, the staff told us first come first serve even though I bought my tickets the day before. Even more, when you get in the theater you sit in rolling office chairs. They advertise nice comfortable lounge chairs, but no. The quality of the picture was awful and the surround sound didnt even work.As we were walking by to get in line to enter the theater, the staff literally said I hate my job.Service was terrible, staff was terrible, picture was terrible. Honestly even if the movie was free, I wouldnt go here again. This place is TRASH!

Me and my husband went to see Good Boys. It wasnt too crowded. Food was fast hit and fresh. Its our favorite spot to grab dinner and a movie!

We’ve been coming for years. Then show box opens up and they have better service. The first time we come back in 2 years and the service was extremely horrible. No one wanted to be there and it shows. We saw our waiter 1 time!! And that’s it. We never got refills. I had to get up and go find another waiter in another movie theater to get me a refill on my lemonade. This will be the absolute last time I ever give this place my money. This place used to be the spot to go to, but they have severally taken a turn for the worst. Asked to speak with a manager and they never came. Save your money and go to showbiz on Wilson road. I’m attaching a ticket stub so you know this was a real experience.

Love coming here, but the last 2 times; both times were on a Tuesday; the service lacked. Seen our server once and i didnt see anyone get their free popcorn.

Been going here off and on for years now and I think the quality fluctuates with management. The food is either really good or just ok, but I have noticed your money doesn’t go as far for food as it used to. Wings now no longer come with fries and you have to pay like $6 for a side of fries. So $20+ for a small meal for one. The staff are usually nice but should try and take orders before the movies not during. I miss the coaster lights rather than posting your menu standing up, they do not see it while movie is going. Drinks are hit or miss depending on who is at the bar. And for a long while now there is this awful smell of wet dirty water in the theater. Staff should not be standing outside of theater chatting while on the clock like they have been the last three movies I’ve gone to. While movie is playing your treated well and usually have an overall good time.

I used to like this place, and hadnt been in a long time. This last visit was not good. To the point I felt the experience ruined the movie. There were a lot of little things that I would have ignored, but the big one was with the food. 1 person with us had a food allergy. Tomato. 1 seed would put them in the hospital. They ordered a burger and explained. No tomato, please let them know that they cant put tomato, I have a severe allergy to them. Once we got our food, she checked and it had tomato on it. She told the server and the server flat out says.. Oh I put it on the slip, but they never pay attention to special requests. Its dark in here and people never complain. So thats my main complaint. Were having to yell to this woman over the movie because it was loud. I hear people complain about movies being loud and Ive never had a problem. Maybe Im half deaf, but this time I couldnt hear and felt like I was yelling to talk to the person. We had already asked them to turn it down, but they said the previews are always louder than the movie, itll be fine later. It wasnt, and the only other people in that theater with us at the time also asked them to turn it down. They finally did half way through the movie. When we had first arrived, and another of our group went back out to use the restroom, they were asked What are you doing in there by an attendant. They had apparently not realized anyone had purchased tickets for that theater, and so hadnt realized they needed waitstaff in that theater. It just seemed like that was how everything went. Certain drink machines were down. When they corrected my friends burger, they had just removed the tomato. She could still taste a little and later had a small burning in her throat. She took her meds and was fine. The point being they dont seem to understand food allergies at all. At the point she is yelling (over the volume) to the waiter to see if they had remade the food, and the waiter really couldnt tell her or hear her, I just leaned over and asked if everyone wanted to leave? She didnt want to be a burden and said no. The rest just shrugged. Later we all agreed that we would meet somewhere else when we hung out. I used to give this place 4 stars. I feel some of it was minor, and it just seemed that they all just happened to hit at the same time. The Allergy thing really pushed my opinion over the top, and the feeling that all these little things usually happen 1 or 2 at a time, when they start coming together in clumps at a place. Its usually a sign the place is going downhill or no one is in charge, keeping it straight.

Smh. The service could of been 100% better. Not only was the wait time terrible the product was terrible. I think the only reason this place is still open is because they hire younger teenagers who dont ID and minors know it. Of course they are going to stay open. If I was a young underage teenager and my young friend worked there and would sell me alcohol why wouldnt I? Its a shame. I ordered one drink and was served another and still charged for the original drink. My husband had to change his order three times because they were out of the whiskeys he asked for. How are you out of three popular whiskeys on a Friday night at 8 pm? It was terrible I dont recommend it.

I used to visit this movie theater at least once a month. But the food choices and quantities of food is horrible!! I ordered the game day platter and I recieved four dried out chicken wings, 3 hamburger sliders and literally 12 fries with a half of cheese and bacon bits! I notified the waitress and she said thats was the portion size. I will not be frequenting this location anymore. At least you could share an appetizer with 2 people. But now its like an one person meal. The movie was great though. Im going to the cinema off of the beltway. Their food choices are pricey, but at least there is enough for 2 people to share.

I enjoyed the movie, atmosphere was good and the drinks were great. The staff was very personable. They asked for my credit card upfront to run a tab but Im sure they wanted to make sure I didnt run out before paying too much money for 6 wings (no fries, no carrots nor celery sticks). We have got to do better.

Nice place, had not been to this kind of movie place before. It was nice though. I was not hungry so of course did not purchase any food, but menu looked nice. Seats were alright as they are for to sit and eat while watching movies. I was there to watch almost one month old movie, so not much crowd which was the best thing.

They are a little outdated as far as seating. The screen quality and the food is good. Im rating based on comfortability. Didnt have any of their alcoholic beverages and the servers were just okay. They kept getting confused on where orders were coming from.

Ive always had a good experience with this theater. Seats are comfortable. Everything is clean. Then again most of the time I visit during the weekdays in the morning.

No offense to anyone, but these guys deserve a renovation. Office chairs and weird smell throughout hallways and in the theater.Mostly helpful and diligent waitstaff, but some need some feedback. Someone came up with my beer and asked This yours? I dunno, what is it? Overall, plenty of people were working and everyone got their orders before the movie started, except for the late people.Overall, could be better. Screen was mostly clean and sound was good. I didnt order much, but the food and beer was also good. Typical annoying fellow moviegoers yawning out loud and clearing throats loudly as though public space is their living room.

Not only did they gave me my order wrong I order chesse frys and got regular frys. Then I order ranch dressing got blue chesse. They took my dressing back and never got my ranch. This place use to be amazing but not I would never go back. I stop going for about 3 years gave them another chance. They blew it big time. All the chairs were messed up. I got use to stadium seats I guess. Sad really to see a movie theater go down hill. This was my favorite place to see movies.

Movie Tavern is cool. You get to come in, relax, order some food and drinks if you want. Yea the price is a little higher than average but I think it’s worth it. This location isn’t anything special but I’ve been here quite a few times with various people and enjoy myself every time. Usually it’s not very busy so you get a lot of space to yourself.

This place is really starting to go down hill, I purchased 3 tickets for 3 adults and was handed 2 menu’s. I asked for an additional for the 3rd adult and was told they were short on menu’s. Mind you this was early morning on a Sunday, in other words the theater was dead. Once we sat down and shared menu’s and made our order we were informed they were out of many different things. The whole time we sat in the theater the arm rest on the chairs were pealing up. Needless to say we will not be returning....

The place is okay. The service was decent. The food was good.I honestly do not like movie theaters where you can eat a meal. It’s not the same. You have other people chewing and biting and sipping while you’re trying to focus on the movie.As for the theater it’s self, well the seats are okay and so is the screen and sound but both could be better. There was a frayed out area above the movie screen that irked me a bit. Okay now the service- how long does it take to get a glass of water? The waitress got are desert order and refill drink. Just 3 things- comes back and only brings the desert and other person’s drink. Where’s the water? She leaves and comes back to bring out the checks and take the menus. Where’s my water? I didn’t say anything but my friend brought it up. Seriously lady?I also don’t like the interruptions.

I used to love going to this location. The customer service has taken a nose dive. We waited 20 minutes for the waiter to come take our order, after notifying them via the light buzzer, we were ready to order. Food took another 20 to 30 minutes to come out. The manager on call last night, was very rude.

Great concept that many other theatre are trying to replicate. Nice bar before you go into the main theatre. Food is good, not amazing but beats anything from a traditional snack bar.Parking can be hard to find.Most chairs are in good condition, we have had a few in rough condition but thats not the norm.If you want a nice experience out this is a good option.

I was not as pleased with this location as I have been with other locations. There was a smell of dirty mop water that seemed to linger throughout the facility. Staff was minimally helpful, with explaining things to my friend. It was her first time. I’ll stick to the other locations for future visits.

Pretty good place to grab a bite while watching a movie. It has about 6 different movies, with 3 to 4 showtimes each, from recently new to last year releases. Lights only dim partially. Theres a button in you table to call for the waiter, and the food and drinks are brought to your seat/table. Highly recommend to order food before movie starts, during previews, waiter can be call at any time. It has more of a casual vibe than a just a movie theather.

Very tough to get tickets as the small theaters sell out quickly. Also the chairs are more like desk chairs. Still great food and service. Decent pricing. I love their breakfast if you can ever make a 9am movie as well.

The movie was great but went there because they had food but the kitchen was down so it was a bit frustrating. Then the giant cockroach visit wasnt appreciated. If it had not been for that there wouldnt have been any issues.

I enjoy going out to see a movie. I’ve been to a many different movie theaters, but this one is on the bottom of my list. I find the Ambience was a bit off. Too many lights in the room during the movie. I was not impressed with the food and drinks as well. My family and I tried hard to find something to like about this place. In the end, our waitress got part of our order wrong and didn’t bother to fix it and charge us full price. It was the first and last time for us. Hope you guys have a better experience.

Tuesday nights are $5 dollar movies plus tax and one can get free small popcorn. However, the service is slow and the theater is outdated.
