Recently visited this golf course on 9/26/20, It was a nice looking range with a nice course overall. Every staff member inside and at the bar vicinity wore masks and followed guidelines, The workers in the pro shop are phenomenal and super nice. The only problem i had with the course is that there was a lot of divots in fairways not fixed and a lot of the golf merchandise and every beverage (alcohol included) were over priced. Luckily I found an employee named Randy (as far as i know is what he told me) who helped me out with a 12 pack for $25 out of the inside cooler. I recommend this course to anyone looking for a fun time with good, caring employees willing to help it’s customers.
Great fun day today at Tour 18! Great weather, staff were great for the St. Monicas Food Bank Charity Tournament. Kudos to Hayley and Erica for taking such good care of us on the course!
I have been a customer of tour 18 for a few years now... played here last weekend and man was it tough.. When I played here before I enjoyed my round because course was well manicured. But this time was a different story. The rough was VERY tough, longer than I have ever seen out here. My friends and I walked past our ball 7-8 times during our round looking for minutes to find it buried in the rough..on top of that the greens were slo almost impossible to judge. Seemed like the whole course had not been mowed and was not in its best condition. Was kinda disappointed .... ;(
Very cool course. Nice layout and well maintained.
Honestly the course was GREAT! the greens were in great condition. And the sands were well kept. Definitely a must try for anyone!
Amazing course! Fairways and greens were in pristine condition.
Cool golfing spot. Worth it if you get a good deal. Each hole is modeled after some of the popular PGA courses around the country including Pebble Beach, Oakmont and 3 holes from Augusta National. Challenging course and kept in decent shape
One of the best courses that I have played on. The course is in spectacular condition. The staff is very welcoming. Thank you
I have played probably 10 different courses since the pandemic started and the only one to charge an additional fee if you wanted a single cart is Tour 18. A $24.95 additional fee for a single cart. They obviously do not care about their customers and the only thing they care about is $$$$. Remember that if you are older and need to social distance.
Easy to get there and nice course. Kid enjoys her tournaments there with friends.
Played this week. Love this place.
I really enjoyed my round here and it was an amazing experience. I have just moved to Houston and wanted to find a course that is welcoming and hospitable and I think Tour 18 is the one! The young gentlemen in the club house was very helpful and friendly. I played on a Thursday and was able to walk on pretty much straight away and pretty much had a course to myself (except I caught up to a group and had a group behind me by the last two holes but there were no hold ups). The three Augusta holes were superb! I stopped by for a quick drink in the bar after, the bar looked really nice. They also have a shower in the locker room which was really appreciated as its about a 40min drive back home for me from the course so being able to clean myself up for the drive back was great. Highly recommend this course!
If you want to play the slowest 18 holes Of your life on the driest goat trail in humble come here.Update. they have tee times every 10 mins and the cart literally indicates the time each hole should take. 1,2, and 3 all indicated 18 mins per hole. How do you expect the rounds not to take forever when you send a group off every 10 mins.
Great golf course.
Best course ever! Famous holes from all over the USA. Its a must play.
Played here on a real wet sunday. Course was lots of fun and well kept. Cool to recognize holes from TV. Close to lots of heavily wooded areas so we ran across about 10 deer while playing. As long as you dont mind some deer tracks on the fairway, good spot to play.
Awesome course! The front 9 got the best of me. Challenging holes from around America all on one course, what a great idea! Would like to visit again for some redemption.
Great experience! Definitely worth playing!
The course was in great shape. Greens and fairways looked great! The team of staff in the bar area took care of us as well. The only reason not 4/5 stars is the pro shop staff was horrible, rude, and acted as if we bothered them by wanting to golf. My group had 8 people and not sure we would return due to that.
Great course. Usually kept up really well. We go to a charity event here every year and have a great time playing a round of golf.
Can you fish here? i don’t care if i get hit by a ball as long as i can fish.
This is one of my favorite golf courses outside of The Woodlands Tx. Wonderful course of simulated holes from some of the greatest golf courses in America.
It was a wonderful place, I had a great time
Practice range is a joke, thin mats over concrete, almost broke my wrist hitting off them. As of Nov 15, most bunkers are under repair on front 9 and it was never mentioned when I checked in, starter said course was in great shape, which its not. There are many good alternatives in this area at a lower price, like Cypresswood.
10/17/19 - course is in wonderful condition all around except the bunkers are under repair. Which they didnt tell me about before i paid for my round or when i reserved a tee time. But wonderful course..
Absolutely amazing experience! It is such a hard course but so much fun! Real slopes!! Real angles! Have to play the course In a smart fashion! Truly shows how good the pros are to play these holes In a good way! It’s amazing and if you can find a deal on golf now it’s definitely the place to play! We played for $36.99 at 11:30!!! Whatttt?!!!! ️️️
The course is a great concept and it is fun to play some legendary holes! However the last 3 times I have played it has take. 5+ hours for 2 people due to slow players. Each time we have tried to tell someone in the pro shop and not once have we seen a martial or any kind of urgency to speed up play. When trying to talk to the pro shop the counter person tried to tell us there was 160 people playing the course and he had multiple calls about groups holding people up. For the price the experience is very poor.
Lovely course amen corner is amazing
Great fun at Tour 18. The course is in good shape. The greens rolled well, the cups have the white plastic inserts making the cuts neat and visible. A good challenge from the tips. And if playing replica holes from the Tour in one beautiful neighborhood isnt fun enough for you, pay an additional $10 (at the time of this review) and ride these Golf boards.
Spectacular playing experience. Greens true and medium speed. Sand seems to have been replaced recently. Fairways were beautiful. Staff helpful and women friendly (except 18 :) ). Partner enjoyed combo tees for his handicap.
Fun and great place to gold
Dude I saw a double sun dog with sprites that day there... Amereicas Greatest Eighteen Holes is what the sign says and I had no reason o doubt.
Great condition, always fun to play, grill food is good
Really cool place the holes are pretty similar to the real thing!
They are doing lots of upgrades. The landscape and clubhouse look great.
What a great place for a wedding!!
Beautiful course.
Interesting but short and poorly cared for
Fantastic course with a beautiful surrounding landscape.
Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Course was in pretty bad shape. I drove up from AUSTIN to play it and see Tigers name on the scoreboard! Still had last years results? Sand traps were either full of water or concrete? One of two bridges at amen corner had circular inserts falling out? Who is maintaining this course? I’d recommend either fix these issues or lower the costs? Very underwhelmed.
Played 1/13/2019Course and greens werent in the best condition but thats expected for winter golf. However, the entire course was soaked, I rained two days prior, yet balls were being plugged on every single shot. Drives down the middle of the fairway were being plugged. Had multiple lost balls due to them being plugged in mud. A long course was made longer due to 0 roll on drives and having to hit a mud shot from, the fairway. Cart path only, therefore you had to walk across a field of mud to get to your ball. Once you get to your ball, you had to dig it out of the mud and clean it before each shot. Led to a very slow round of golf. Teed off at 9 am, finished at 2:30 pm. Bunkers were 50/50, half were in playable conditions, and half were underwater.I wish I could have asked for a rain check having played in such wet conditions. I wish I could have appreciated the course, but I was too busy looking down to avoid the next puddle of water or patch of mud.Hope Tour 18 would reimburse golfers who spent $60+ to walk in mud for 5 hours and lose their balls in the fairway.
A fantastic day had by all, fantastic golf course, will definitely be back.
Nice course.
Great course when I was able to play it. Alas, today I was unable to play. Tee times were not available because of a tournament but that is not my issue. Tour 18 uses GOLFNow and there were tee times this afternoon (all day frankly) available - so I made plans to go and went to book an exact time this morning. Tried one time - no longer available. Tried another and another, so I called the course. Oh - that is GolfNow - meaning - its not our problem. Asked to speak to a supervisor and was transferred to GolfNow who informed me that they must not have an updated tee sheet from the course. Just not OK. Lucky I did not just head out to the course. No need to apologize - FIX THE COMMUNICATION BETWEEN YOUR TWO ORGANIZATIONS.
Great layout great condition except the bunkers had no sand. Nice staff.
Conditions could be better, but its a great concept! Good value course.
Played last weekend and impressed with the condition of the course
Love this place. Its a lot of fun. Great condition
If you follow the PGA Tour you will enjoy playing holes that are famous. The staff in the pro shop and bar were friendly.
It s nice place to play.
Cool concept, great staff in the pro shop and restaurant, however the condition of the entire course is poor at best. Every hole from tee to green is in terrible shape. If they have a greenskeeper at all hes got to be the worst in town. The fees should be half what they charge. Not sure what theyre spending their money on but its definitely not used to maintain the course. Ive played here twice a year since the day it opened and it seems to get just a little worse every year. Great potential gone to waste.
One if the Best public golf courses in Houston.
Great course
Beautiful course. I enjoyed it.
Played Tour 18 on November 6th with 3 other colleagues. Green fees were a bit on the high side for a Tuesday morning but I could of justified the price if the course was in a little better shape. We have had quite a bit of rain over the past few months and this course holds the water, fairways were nothing but mud, bad enough that I ruined a pair of shoes. The greens were wet and soft. Bunkers were either small ponds or rock hard. The layout was interesting and fun, had some challenging holes but not too hard to cause frustration. Our tee time was at 8:27am, at 8:20 we were (aggressively) rushed to the tee box by the Marshall, pace of play was decent for us but groups behind us were suffering as the day wore on. Being cart path only, foursomes stacked up will bring the pace to a halt. On the 15th tee box, the Marshall, asked us to pick up our pace while the foursome in front of us was still on the fairway. While understandable, the tone was a bit rude. We paid the same high green fee as those in front of and behind us, we were not playing slow by any means, even picking up or leaving errant shots, paying this much and being rushed along left a bad taste. Tour 18 knew it was cart path only, and the pace would be impacted, they should have spaced out the groups a little to accommodate.Other than that, it was a nice course, and in better shape I would happily play it again.
Loved it, started slow but played great on the back. Sanded and aerated but still had fun.
Awesome course to play when it isnt busy, however they stack tee times extremely close together so at busy times you will see a group waiting to tee off on hole, another group in the fairway waiting to hit, and another froup on the green on just about every hole. Have played this course in under 3.5 hours have also been stuck out there for over 5.5 hours.
Course is fun and in decent shape. Clearly needs some infrastructure work done soon. Yardage Marks were hard to find and the boxes were not in good shape.
What an absolutely beautiful and amazing golf course. The staff were all very nice as well. They always had a smile and were helpful. Their food is very good as well. Would absolutely love to go back again one day.
Course is pristine and lush. Greens are too slow but otherwise flawless.
Save your money and play elsewhere. This course SHOULD be a destination course as it’s meant to replicate some of the most known holes in golf. And it COULD be. BUT the course is in absolutely terrible condition.I lost 3 balls in greenside bunkers today because the bunkers were full of water. All bunkers are like this. The entire course is one big mud pit, especially the fairways.I will admit that it has rained a couple days recently, so maybe that means you just don’t play this course after it rains. But this is Houston. It rains all the time here
Tour 18, is a fantastic course! I have payed it several times and enjoy it each time. Very challenging as you take on some of the most iconic holes on some of the greatest courses in the country. Do yourself a favor and play this course at least once, I promise you, you will come back! Located in Humble, TX. about 15 minutes from IAH.
This place is the best! My husband and I were searching for an affordable venue for our wedding and decided to check out Tour18. Tracy met us and talked us through everything, cost, what we wanted and what they could accommodate. We fell in love. Greg Flores kept us feeling comfortable with the planning process and gave us great advice and ideas to help us keep our budget on track. They made 6 plates of vegan pasta just for my vegan family and friends outside of the buffet food we had. I cannot thank them enough for everything they did to make our day as great as it was! I would do it all over again and not change one thing! Thank you thank you thank you!!!!Now we can’t wait to start golfing!!
Great course!! Challenging. Very fun. A bit wet, which was out of their control, all in all a great round for early March!
Great course, can be a little pricey. One of the pro shop attendants was super rude and was annoyed I asked him to match the price on golf now because we called and were closer to just go than to book online and they wanted to charge me an extra $15 per person in person than on golf now. I guess that employee would rather sit and do nothing than have guests return for future visits. It will probably be a while until I return for my 3rd visit just cause of him We had a great time on the course though, fun to experience.
We held our company golf tournament here this year and i was very impressed! Course was in great shape and very challenging to. The staff was very friendly and had everything set-up nicely for us. All of our employees and clients had a great time. I recommend this venue to anyone.
Great condition and deer freely hanging around the course.
Crazy a family payed for a hall to be hot in it and for the workers to have fans blowing through out the hall than not only that we had guess from out of state! Embarrassing
Fun course to play, especially since all the holes are recreations of real PGA tour holes. But I do find it a bit expensive considering the course condition isn’t that much different from other less priced courses in the area. But overall I definitely recommend playing here.
A great course good prices and very friendly service we did a tournament there recently and the staff were very professional.
Beautiful course, well manicured greens. Not a fan of all of the homes being built on some fairways, but I dont have to live here, just play. All in all a great facility will reasonable prices.
Always fun to play. Can be very slow on weekends because people do not play from the proper tees. Move up people you are not in the PGA.
Very clean and Good food.
Course was in good condition. Fun course to play.
Awesome golf course. Worth the money!
Challenging course!! Great staff! Needs some maintenance in some areas but dont we all?
Course is in great shape. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Plenty of specials out there so dont take the rack rate.
Some of the greatest holes in golf! Loved to play the TPC 17th although I lost a number of balls there :D
I had a gift certificate that I had not had a chance to use. They honored the gift, and even gave me a gift card for the portion I could not use. After several hard freezes, the course is in winter condition, but the greens are in good shape for this time of year. I will return later this week to enjoy this course again in a tournament.
Very challenging! The course is in great shape!
Awesome course!!!!
Good course and great employees
Range is a dump and the greens were terrible. Sad!
Great course
Awesome great service course in very decent shape
REDICULOUS WET CONDITIONS!!! This is, by far, the Worst wet conditions of any course I’ve ever played. And don’t reply that the recent rains have hampered our course maintenance. This was caused by unnecessary watering from sprinkler system. WHY? We were so covered with mud, it was rediculous!! Also, No drink cart or Marshal was ever seen. It was probably a good thing a Marshal never came by,, He would’ve caught an earful. Nicest course to the worst, just because of overwatering & it doesn’t make sense. Good Luck filling t-times & keeping members.
Always great service at the pro shop.
I love this course so much that I became a member and play twice a week. I am never bored playing here. The hole layout is amazing famous holes of great golf courses and are difficult. The new General Manager Jim has really been improving things on and around the course. Rain this year makes the course even better.
Kinda fun but a bit gimmicky. Holes are decent replicas of the real thing, albeit a bit watered down to make them easier to play. Course in OK shape - tees good, fairways decent, greens patchy - but the very reasonable twilight rate makes this a good value recommendation for a few holes before dark. Dont know if greens issues are temporary - it was February after all - but resolve those and this would be outstanding value at the twilight rate.
Great course but it’s cart path only 80% of the time
Visiting texas with my mom we decided to play tour 18. This is a looooonnng course if you are a public 18 4,000 yard kind of course golfer. It showcases different golf holes from around the world. Its a tricky motha if you are a new/ novice golfer, but its fun and, the price for an online tee time cant really be beat for what tour 18 provides. Nice, lush, greens, and fairways.
Challenging, fun course.
Thank you for the business youre super efficient and we hot sorry Im having a bad hair day
I am very fond of Tour 18. The layout is quite challenging and while amateurs with 21+ handicaps will struggle if fairways are missed, even my son (who is lucky to break 110) had a great experience due to the excellent staff support, a beautiful course, and opportunity to compare the courses holes with the classics they emulate. Few courses have cart girls serving refreshments mid-week, and the available options did not disappoint. Please note: I last played at Tour 18 in October 2016.
Course is greatFood is not good
