Amazing place & very stroller friendly! I can’t believe I lived so close for so long and didn’t know about this gem!

A well-maintained park. However, the trail doesn’t offer much variety (a simple loop through bland wooded areas for half the journey), and is surrounded by busy streets so traffic noise is non-stop.I did sight a considerable number of birds however: red-winged blackbird, goldfinch, lots of swallows, a robin, and a hawk on the way out.Perhaps a nice break for people working at one of the many industrial companies in the immediate vicinity, but if you’re looking for quiet, solitude or scenery, skip this one.

Super clean park and facilities. 1.2 miles loop. Bathroom (antiseptic) has baby changing table. Shelter may be reserved (info call 867 5511).

I love this park! It has all of the things you could want! It has what, water, prairie and much more!

Really nice would definitely go back

In the proper seasons, you can hear the bird calls and sounds. You feel like you are in the woods along a boardwalk trail with some parts that are dirt/grassy.This park also has a shelter and BBQ grills. The parking lot is far enough from the road that you dont feel like you are sitting next to the road or maybe you can even pretend it is not there.

Nice place for a hike

A real nice mix of woodland, wetland and meadow. Seldom used, its great for casual birding in the woods and watching butterflies and other insects on the wildflowers.Barred Owl was my best sighting in the woods and warblers migrate through in spring and fall.

Paths are well defined. Not crowded at all!

Easy but scenic trail system that winds through beautiful and diverse environments. Pond, wetlands, boardwalks, open meadows, all within a few a hundred yards of each other.

Very nice, pleasent park. Half of the trail is in fields. The other half is in the woods, mostly on boards. It is near enough to have a walk at lunch if you are one of the businesses nearby.

Big open space for kids to run around. Very nice bathrooms.
