Be prepared if you are not a seasoned rider. The regulars seem to be vying for a Red Bull extreme contract. Trying to get to that level. Stayed on the pavement but the trails do look exciting. But certainly not for the beginner.
The park is in good condition. The different sections of playgrounds cater to each developmental group for the children. So I can bring the whole family and no one is bored. In fact, I have to drag away the children everytime lol
Its a cute little pocket park with a playground for the kids. Theres a nice trail system to bikes and pedestrians next to it too.
The skate park is small but fun. It has two sides. On one side there is a mini. Half of the mini has two decks, the other half has a deck and a spine. Over the spine goes to a quarter and a flat ramp. Theres a small street area which has flat ramps on either side so you can go back and forth with a little speed. The street part is interesting for sure.
Nice shaded park. Couple of different playground areas for kids and covered patio. Liked that it has security cameras.
I love this place. The trails are right out of a fairy tale. Im not an experienced hiker at all and go frequently now. Its an easy trail and a beautiful little escape. It is a hike and bike, so make sure youre not listening to music too loudly to hear them announcing themselves. Be careful, there are snakes.
Very nice little park. Plenty of shade in the trees and a great place for photos
Very well shaded with many trash receptacles. 1 play ground for toddlers, another for 5 years and up. Paved trails, picnic tables, and a few benches to sit and watch your little ones play. The pavilion has ceiling fans to help with a breeze on these muggy Houston days. My niece and I had a wonderful time climbing, exploring, and burning off some energy!
I love hiking here.Got to watch out for bicycles.
Nice little park but the COVID reaction puts a different feel on interaction.
Great place to go on a nature walk or mountain biking. They also have grills to BBQ and a Skate Park.
Playground, skateboard ramps, and easy access to extensive walking and biking trails. No restrooms and small parking lot, but you can park at a nearby side street.
Mountain Bike trails are awesome! Great trails to hike also!
The kids and the grownups enjoyed walking the interesting bike paths..nice and shady!
Awesome bike trail it has become my favorite park
Great spot to grab and go lunch.
Dont dump ur kids at a skatepark bruh
Cool beginners skate park
Great little park. Playgrounds for varying age groups. A skate park. Walking trail.
Good bike and skate ramps and trails!
Ample amounts of play opportunities, but parking is sometimes hard to find when competing with the skater park.
Always love a walk in the woods, and this is a perfect little getaway without going far. Excellent biking trails also... just please remember your etiquette if your riding
I actually quite like this park. Theres a playground and a small skate park. Its quite woody so it provides plenty of shade for hot days (there is also a bubble tea close by for TX summer). There is 2 playgrounds and also a walking trail for those that have dogs or for hiking. The reason I am giving it a 3 star is because its pretty wild. There are loads of insects here so be sure to watch out. Also there is a swing broken that hasnt been fixed for awhile. The playground probably needs a bit of cleaning and a fix up but nothing major. The picnic tables also need a good clean and fix up as well.Apart from that I think its a good place to come. My son enjoys the skate park and my girl enjoys walking the trail and playing on the playground.(Also to note there is no restroom facility here)
Very quiet, cozy, and great views of the creek.
Go here all the time! The bike trails are really cool and its neat to see deer from time to time
Awesome bike riding trails if you have a mountain bike good enough to handle it and a helmet....
We love this park. The kids love it, especially the rock climbing walls. But they could really use some water fountains!
Great park
Nice bike trails!
Great shaded neighborhood park
Fun local park with great trails, playground, and a skatepark.
Amazing park. Plenty of shade and multiple parks for different age groups. My daughter always has a great time here
Amazing bike trails!.. its a 1of my top 5 bike trails!
Beautiful park.. .
Nice beautiful park with two kids play areas for different age groups. There is a running trail around the park. Plenty of shade. You can see few seating around the park as well as exercise equipments around the trail. There is a Skate park. The park is clean and well maintained. There is one large pavilion with tables near the play area.Average parking area. There are no public restrooms.
Great park, lots if shade and awesome trails.
First thing anyone need to know is this park doesnt have a restroom and there is no place near by with a restroom. You will need to drive at least 10 minutes in any direction to get to the nearest restroom.Otherwise this is a great park. Small but has 2 play area and swings for different ages. It has a walkway built around the park.
Nice quiet park with plenty of trees and a skate park.
Nice, shady park with good playground. Has a lot of mosquitoes. Bug repellent is a must
This park is great during these hot Houston days. Very well shaded. Down, away from the road. Two separate playgrounds—one for the littles and one for the bigs. Plenty of swings and climbing things too. Also has a pavilion. No bathrooms, which is a negative. But still feels like a hidden gem!
Best part is the shade! Daughter loves the playground. Always kept neat.
Would be nice if they would exterminate the spiders underneath the park benches but I know thats probably more work then its worth
Heavily tree shaded, decent sized playgrounds, (one for younger kids, one for older kids,) with a very modest skate park, swings, a pavillion with several picnic benches, and a shortish paved path that loops around it all.A hiking trail through the wooded area, and along the creek is located behind the play area, and is adjacent, and somewhat connected to, the Hundred Acre Woods Preserve, and the Cypresswood Creek MTB trail, which are, great for mountain biking, trail running, or just hiking. What it does not have: wide, open areas, ball fields, and/or courts, though there are some nearby.
Fun
The park was clean. The trails were nice and clear. The trails could use some lights for night hikers, but other then that, it was a pretty nice area for families and young children.
Close to home.great place to relax and take kids or grandkids to play and feed squirrels.
Nice place for children and also grown ups. There is s small skate park and very cool mtb trails! Yet, the route for hiking confused me, since it looked more like a bicycle trail.
Clean, well maintained playgrounds for multiple ages. No bathrooms though.
There is a large park there for kids of any age and also a ton of biking/hiking trails in the woods... I often sneak off and go fishing in the creek and catch some bass and lots of catfish.
So many good memories with my kids here...
No rest rooms
Great park for all ages
Lots of trees for shade, atleast 3 playgrounds for kids. Needs maintenence to remove of leaf and soil debris. Some slides are cracked in near half potentially leading to huge scratches om back or bellies, or fingernail loss from kids sliding down them and getting caught in it. After proper maintenence, it would be a great place to stay cool for a park visit with kids.
Great park for the kids and a good place to go hiking.
I really enjoy bringing my son here. Enough shade to cover everything.
Good beginners skate park
Nice park tons of trees surrounding. There are surveillance cameras here. Closes at sundown. No alcohol allowed.
We have gone to this park a ton of times and love it. There is a little something for everyone. The walking trails are awsome, but make sure you bring some mosquito spray for sure! I would definitely recommend this park!
What a cool park!
Lovely, heavily shaded family pocket parkwith playground, half pipe, and walking trail
We love hiking around here.
Safe place with Video monitoring and Police presence and a ctc support culture
This is the nicest parks around! So much shade!! Picnic tables and grills! And a walking path around the play area! Plus there is a trail into the woods thats cool!!! Highly recommend on the hot weather!!
This is very quiet park. It has skateboard park too in their. Bike trail and lots of option for kids too play. Loved to visit again.
Fun for the kids. Hard to leave after. You might need to knock em out XD.
This park is wonderful. It has walking trails, bike ramps and plenty of slides and swings.
Nice park, different areas for kids of different ages, only problem is parking if there was a emergency it would be a nightmare since theres only one way in and one way out.
I like that place, a lot of tree, fresh air, walk way, path, river, play ground, next time I will bring my kids over there.high recommend for every body!i
Lots do hear and good trails to walk or ride
We love this playground. Its one of the few that has trees and covering so its shady. It can still be hot though with no wind and it has a nice little exercise track surrounding it and grills with little tables so its very versatile for what your plans are.
Great hidden shady park. Owned by county and residents of Lakewood Crossing. If riding the mountain bike trails, please do not park here. There is a parking lot at the north end of West Cypress Forest drive. Please do not speed on that street and please do not ride muddy trails.
It was very nice we walked there it was very quiet and I was watching my little cousin my brother was at the skate park and everything was chill they also have picnic table and area
Nice plc to go on a trail
Cozy and clean
Theres6plenty of playground equipment, a skateboard section, walking trails an lots of shade.
This is a heavily wooded park with a small amount of space for parking. Theres plenty of playground type equipment for young kids to use as well as a pavilion for picnics or gatherings.Theres also a skateboard park which sometimes attracts a bad element. This is not to say that the skateboarders are inherently troublesome, rather it is to say there are some delinquents which like to congregate in that area.
Safe and relaxing. My 4.5 yr olds enjoy!
Great little park. Great shaded play area for kids. Best feature is the easy access to the Cypress Creek Trail system. Very limited parking.
I like this park except there are NO restroom facilities.
Nature blessed park. Addiction to go often this place especially the never ending trails. So good place for the active people
This place is a awesome place to meditate and relax with the kidos!
Sweet trails. Good cover. Major shred opportunities at the not lame half pipe. Pretty sweet Pokémon Go stop too.
This park is amazing and beautiful!! the playgrounds are very nice. lots of trees and shade. I think this is our new favorite!!
Loved this park must go
Nice shaded park with playground equipment. Small paved path for riding tricycle.
Lots of shade, benches, and picnic tables. Two great play structures, one for younger kids. We love this park.
My son just loves to come here!! Great playgrounds and trails to explore.
Great park lots of shade.
Well kept park with plenty of play area! Love taking my little one to play there!
Very nice and kid friendly park
Covered areas, tons of trees. Huge trail, with both paved and mountain bike paths. One of the best places to go in summer
Kids love this place!! Great bike trails & tons of picnic tables.
