Everything is Steel. Its all well built. Transitions are perfect. There is a little something for everyone here. I personally dig the 4ft Spine/Mini and the Quarter-Pipe toward the entrance. Plus, there are some hidden gems here. But those youll only find if you explore the area surrounding the skatepark. Love this place! Im from the Bones Brigade era of skateboarding. We didnt have places like this in the beginning. Skateboarding was still a crime, not an Olympic Sport.
This is by far my favorite park! Theres a mini with a spine. A bigger mini (about 7 feet), and a street section with ramps and quarters on either side. This section also has launches! The smaller street section gets full of water when it rains, but on a good day, there are two p rails, and a box which you can use alone or with the ramp and quarter to give you more speed. And dont forget about the ditch! If you search, you will find this most awesome and iconic Houston skate spot. Please, respect the ditch! Happy skating!
This is a great park. I would recommend taking kids either in the morning or afternoon. It can get a little sketchy, but most people are nice. Skate, scoot or bike at your own risk. May get hot!
Best skatepark in the area, honestly wouldnt go anywhere else.
Normally good, but they welded on metal stoppers on everything so nothing is usable. Maybe because of Covid
Awsome place ro shoot
I love my local skate park I broke my wrist tho
I accept that this park has been here a long time, and it appears to be popular.. On the one side there are a lot of smaller parks around Houston but there are multiple bigger and better ones which is why I have given this rating. I personally would not go out of my way to visit it
Take the stoppers off now or we will take them off
Fun place... been going since 2000
I am surprise with the 4.5 rating. This skate park/ park is smelly (cigarette smell), muddy, and yes I can believe the skate park is historic aka more old and seen better days. There is also dog poop around so watch where you step. There is no playgrounds just swings. I would say this is the worst skate park Ive been to. There are so many better skateparks in Houston and its surrounding area.
Pretty cool that this Park offers skate ramp, nice long trails that leads to the Houston heights area
Very cruzy at times
Great park for a quick skate session during lunch break. It retains a lot of water after any rain though.
Very fun and exciting. Very historical place where they have made it a lot funner and safe
It’s fun but there are a lot of drug addicts and drunks there now
Awesome old school skjate ditch and skatepark
Ez 7 has been a great place to sk8 since the 60s. I personally started sk8ing there since the late 80s. Cement ditch for skaters of all ages!
Old style ditch skating. Great hang out for skaters
Great place to be with family to walk around the park
Favorite skate spot in the city. Historic ditch. Always a great place to skate and make new friends. Be careful not to get your board in the bayou!
Sweet spot to skate or relax and enjoy the park.
There is nothing that compares to EZ7 its been a skateboard Haven for 55 years nothing like it any where else in Texas or the World...
We used EZ7 as a motorcycle jump a few years after they paved the bayou . Police pushed us south about 1/2 mile to the Dip . Theres also a slough just north of Creekmont called the Meat Grinder, saw a guy loose half of his nose there . Yeah the old place is pretty quiet now .
Just childhood memoranda
I am not skate person. But I enjoy to watch the people who are skate at park. Place look great and have good be chill here...
Best skatepark by far friendly locals and nothing but (pot) pies and skatin vibes
Great old skool skate area. The bayou is legendary;
Lots of options for what you want to skate. Metal ramps and a great concrete ditch.
Great spot to go skate... Ive been going since the mid 80s.
Wow. Like a lot.
Hard not to like a place you take your kid to that you went to as a kid. The Ditch out back has a ton of history for local skaters.
Pretty fun to bad Im barely learning to skate so Im still a poser
Cool spot...hate thatbthe ramps are metal Not Good for Bmx wheels
