This place rocks seriously service was great the atmosphere is awesome too.We ordered some smothered fries they were pretty good the drinks were very good too.So on the 1st floor you can kick back watch a game have something to eat listen to some music and swing yes you heard that right they have swings its so awesome this place rocks.On the 2nd floor they have a night club really good music awesome DJ super spacious see through dance floor this place is so fun.They also have a 3rd story that they open up when it gets super crowded.We had an awesome time we will definitely be back soon.

Im definitely making a future plan to return for brunch...but the food was pretty and the atmosphere on the patio was breathtaking!

The Oakmont was a really cute bar that has decent drink prices and great atmosphere. The outdoor area is really cool and fun. Girls restroom was very clean! The parking is definitely challenging to get, even for a slow night.

This is an ultimate place for having a drink with friends and/or taking in the game with two huge outdoor screens, big patio and downtown Houston skyline in the background. Good burgers. All in all another great choice for a good evening in downtown Houston area.

Very versatile place. The beer garden is great for a casual hangout. The indoors offers games and pool from the couch on the first floor, dancing on the second floor and scenic views from the third floor. Theres definitely something for everyone.

Place is nice and offers a variety drinks and places to hang out. One thing dont like is using names on tabs as we always get unwanted drinks on our tab. old school system for the 21st century and a new bar in midtown.

Very fun environment. The food is decent and drinks. The outside and inside layout is very comfortable. The new upstairs bar is also a nice addition to the place.

He has been magnificent, I’m so happy because this is one of our last visits here before we move to Florida.It’s so amazing! The vibe is cool but the drinks are expensive and the food is lees than mediocre. I usually come here on fun couple dates or nights with the girls. You wont find a big party here though.

I love a good beer garden and this is exactly what that is. The vibe is really laid back. Its also a great place to host a networking event. Theres a cute mini golf course here too and there are games. I really enjoyed my time here. Come with friends to chill and hangout. Midtown is a cool space on the weekends.

I actually like this place being able to be outside with a nice fire away from everybody or you can be in the scene with everybody inside

Really neat place I wish Id known about before. Bartender was very accommodating of us. My mother and I stopped in and got a bunch of appetizers. The chef didnt seem to mind that we got lost in conversation and let our cheese fries get cold and threw then back in the oven to warm them up. Great service and atmosphere

Its ok, the downstairs is really nice. A couple of the bartenders arent very nice but comes with the crowd Im sure. Overall not bad.

We bought 2 glass of wine for $14, gratuity was added without our permission as final check. I prefer to chose gratuity by myself.

This is my 2nd time here. First time was for a social and second was for the Fury v. Wilder 2 fight and paid a $10 cover charge, not too bad, pretty standard. The outside space is great, very spacious, has a tree swing and multiple gazebos with firepits. Upstairs dance floor is cool too. Arcade games are FREE... *coughcoughconcretecowboy* anyway, its a nice place to hang. I only give it a 4 star instead of 5 is because I tried to order food at 10pm and the bartender said the kitchen was closed only to see the table next to us order food at 11pm so idk who to believe there.... but I clearly saw lots of food being served all around.

The second floor dance floor is see through to the first floor but I think its like a one way mirror because people didnt seem to notice to be looking up our dresses haha. The music wasnt really loud enough to hear but it was still loud like a regular club where you cant hold a normal conversation. Outside they have a more chill vibe with long tables and swings at a bar

This place is very sociable and down the earth atmosphere. They have generous designed outdoor bars and swings. The yard is big place to hang out with group. The staff are very friendly and they knew when we had troubles, they came to handle the situation professionally. I would definitely going back.

The beer garden is beautiful and has a lot of seating! It would be a nice place to sit with friends, but it definitely wouldnt be my go to place. The beer prices are fair, however cocktails are pretty expensive. They cost as much as a drink as woosters garden but are not on par in quality. The beer garden is dog friendly which is a plus.

Always a good time here. Be sure to come on the weekends for the best experience.

Great patio and a great place to hang out for a while. Draft is way overpriced - pretty much ballpark prices. Mixed drinks aren’t so great and over priced.Good food and the servers are good! The manager kept coming out to turn down the fire pit we had since the grate “was hot” (keep in mind a fire would still keep the grate hot, even turned down). He was rude and obnoxious on a power trip.

Great bar with a decent ambiance in Midtown, Houston. Attracts a 20-30 yr old crowd. They have a great outdoor space with plenty of seating. The upstairs is often reserved for parties. The bouncers could be a little friendlier resulting in a one-star down tick. Overall, I recommend this bar for a nothing special Friday night activity place to get drinks at.

What can I say? By far one of the nicest establishments in the Houston/Midtown area. Always clean and the drinks are great. The atmosphere really makes you feel like youre at a very nice upscale place all the while having great cocktails and food. The owner and his staff are always friendly and will do their best to accompany all your guests upon arrival

Big outdoor area with swings and fun places to sit, have conversations, and play games. The indoor spaces are okay -- typical Midtown bar downstairs with atypical big booths for larger groups, interesting dance floor upstairs -- but this bar is all about the huge outdoor patio.

Has great potential! Fantastic outside area perfect for large groups, and two giant TV screens. Several bars allow for quick service. I would come back.

Pros, the place was nice, lots of screens to view sports on, patio had fans to circulate air. Cons, slow speed of service, limited parking. It wasn’t busy when I went, I stopped at the bar to get a drink on my way to the patio, I was the only one at the bar, it took about 20 mins to get a drink.

Bought a pricey VIP ticket for NYE that had access to all three floors and skip the line. We were only able to get into 2 floors. Third floor was for reserved tables only. $$$$ If you didnt buy a table, no third floor, even though the ticket said access to all 3 floors! The pictures for the tables and sofas on the website do no justice. The sofas are way smaller than portrayed on the pictures. Also, there was no skipping the line, even though the ticket said so! We were waiting in line, about to get in the door when all of a sudden other people who had bought VIP tickets as well, showed up and let in first. Apart from that, they had overpriced drinks, no dancing going on besides some hula hoop girl that was doing a show there. Ended up leaving and going to a much cheaper place with a way, way better ambient and amazing drink prices that also had above par customer attentiveness. In the end this place was way more about making money, (perhaps because its just recently opened) than customer satisfaction.

Oakmont Houston hands down has the most creative design on all three floors with a tremendous backyard perfect for Corporate events. The entire staff is professional and well educated on bar knowledge. I believe I met one of the managers Ty and he was so nice to take my order and actually take the time to check on his guest. 6 stars the whole way. We will be back with more friends!

This is a pretty cool spot. There is a large outdoor area which has the feel of a beer garden, including games. Inside its like a lounge, with live DJ and table service available. Considering the area and facility, the prices are fair, but please note that means higher than most bars.Overall its a pretty nice spot if you dont mind the higher prices. The Oakmont offers casual drinks at the bar and outside, as well as a livelier lounge and club feel upstairs.

I would recommend against having corporate events here. One of our attendees left a credit card behind, and the bar would not check if they had it without going there in person, and didnt return calls. The phone number listed on their website goes to a cell phone, so theres no recourse. Not a good approach for a professional event.

They honor a STRONG door policy. The owner stated that they want to keep the Ghetto out. I wouldnt spend my money here ever again, these are the same owners as Gas Lamp so if you know anything about them then buyer beware

2 star for good food, although the it takes some wait. 1 star for friendly staff when it just freshly open.Drink price is in the higher end.It is the fun place, however not feel that friendly to all any more. The place is adjacent to the residential area, but it seems market to only serve certain group of people.

Manager John was very nice! I bring my friends here all the time and I will come back! The food is great, the drinks are great and the music is great!

Nice location, although the crowd dress code is mixed. If you want to be casual biz this is your spot.... if you want to dance not so much, we came her for the Indoor space so if you want to know about the patio space I have no idea. So the inside club space wasnt all that for me

This is a great place. Don’t forget to check out the Pac-Man and sit on the swing by the bar.

The place was nice. You had plenty of room to spread out. In addition, there is an outdoor area if the weather is nice. The drinks are not inexpensive, but they are not outrageous. The noise level is high, but not as high as some other places. You could actually hear yourself think!!! And, you dont have to shout into your friends ear for them to hear you. But, still, the noise level could be dropped by about 20 decibels and I do not think anyone would complain.

Public service announcement: This establishment is owned by the same people that operated the infamous (not really) Gas Lamp. Go ahead and google that so you can know what type of place this is. If you enjoy(ed) that type of atmosphere, then have fun. If not, go somewhere else that appreciates your coins AND your culture.

Cocktails are a bit expensive but it matches the locations vibe. A ton of work has gone into making for a fantastic interior. Functional seating and a cool floor plan. The outdoor Biergarten will definitely be a hit in the summer as well with a chair swing bar! Will definitely be returning

Not great. We came for NYE and it was a little stuffy. No dancing. Definitely not worth the cover charge. Plus we paid for access to all floors and they refused to let us on the third floor. We left and went to Club Tropicana and it was MUCH better.

Good, decent crowd. Good music and great staff! Three floors and the huuge open space/playground! Wine is a bit overpriced and limited but that’s prob cause it is not much of a wine drinking place. Other drinks are good and well-priced. Bottle service is standard pricing like other club/bars. Can’t wait till the weather cools down a bit to enjoy the open spaces even more.

Mark the door man (tall african American)not sure if thats his real name but he was super rude the minute my family arrived. They had issues with previous guest and took it outside on us. They said the guest capacity was to its max and they werent letting anyone in.i look and the outdoor patio was empty. The bar had better service even they opened now its horrible service. i will never go back and waste my money here. Also their website says its closed but its open.

The place was pretty cool and had good things to offer to everyone. It was like a combination of a night club with a patio bar. The swing bar on the back gave it a really chill atmosphere and they also had lots of outdoor games to keep the clients entertained. There was no cover but the prices on the drinks were a little high.

I really wanted to like this place because Id been hearing good things and the space really is amazing, but man the drinks are awful. I ordered several different cocktails (margarita, mojito, and a grey goose mule) and each was more disgusting than the last. I made a point to order from different bartenders too! I swear I have no idea how they even managed to screw them up so badly, they were all really basic drinks. I would maybe expect that kind of quality from a dive-y beer type bar, but not from somewhere like this. I was kind of hungry but didnt want to even chance it with their food after tasting the drinks.Aside from that, the atmosphere was fun and chill when I arrived in the (post-happy hour time but not quite normal going out time) but got weird later in the night. Maybe theyre still working out the kinks with it being somewhat new? Hard to put my finger on what exactly was off about this place other than awful drinks, but I dont think Ill be coming back here.

This place only gets 2 stars because it 1) had the beer I like on tap, and 2) has cool swings at the outside bar. (Apparently you’re not supposed to swing on said swings.) Myself and my friends separately had rude interactions with multiple bartenders. This included my friend choosing to close out his tab instead of keeping it open- to which the bartender replied “Well are you going to come back and try to buy another drink with me tonight?!” The answer to that is a hard no.Don’t waste your money to be treated like garbage.

Large, fun outdoor area!

Was in town for the weekend and bought a ticket to an event. My card was double charged. Took a month and a half to hear back from management saying they could not refund me and offered me a bottle as compensation after I was already out of town.

The aesthetics are great. The swings are a cool idea, but the seats need some bellowing in the middle. I saw quite a few people slip off. The bartender made my drink incorrectly by adding salt when I requested it without. The remade/retribution drink was horrible. I guess I should have just drunk the salt. I ended up having to buy an additional shot to make the drink worthwhile or even palatable for which the bartender was unapologetic. I understand that the area can dictate prices; nevertheless, the staff has to be nicer and the drinks have to be better to warrant return patrons.

The swing bar is a fun challenge even when you are sober!

DO NOT GET A SECTION HERE! They run up your total to 1K and charge up things you didnt order. You will wake up the next day to a ridiculous amount!! And then when you ask them for proof and submit a complaint it goes un-noticed. They even had the audacity to fake a signature on the receipt. You have been warned. Pretty sure all the good reviews on here are fake. #PSA
