A great place to end your night, if you can find some open space on the dance floor! After around 12:30 it gets PACKED but theres usually some room next to the bar on the far side of the top floor. Music is varied (hip-hop, 90s, Latin, top 40)

Prime location. Music was at a good level. Drinks were pretty weak. Stairwell is narrow so its difficult to go up and down with drinks. The shots wheel is a cool feature. There is done seating downstairs if youre looking to lounge instead of dance. The upstairs dancefloor is small do it gets crowded early on. Overall its a nice place.

Boots n Shoots is pretty decent. I usually end up having a good time when I head out. Only downside is its usually packed with a line out the door, so if thats not your thing you may want to look elsewhere

1st time here and I went with a group of my coworkers after the office Christmas dinner and we had a blast. The music was great and a mixture of everything. Drinks were average priced for a downtown club so be prepared to pay alot of those.

I’m visiting from the Bay Area and walked in at about midnight on the 1st, I asked the brunette bartender if she had sparkling wine and she quickly replied no. I let her know I wasn’t ready to order and while browsing I could clearly see sparkling wine in the cold case with the beer. So I asked again if they had it and if it was only sold by the bottle, etc. She again said she didn’t have it so I informed her that the item she had stocked was indeed sparkling wine and she replied with “no, that’s champagne.” Even if that was the case, as a bartender she should’ve recommended it as an option for good customer service and business practices. I replied and said okay, can I see the brand and bottle before purchasing and when she showed it, it was clearly labeled as sparkling wine. I showed her the label and she said “it’s champagne, do you want it or not” and of course I replied no and left. No sparkling wine or champagne is worth that bad attitude and customer service. I don’t know if she was having a bad night but that’s no excuse to be rude to customers.

I went to this location being a regular I figured I’d have no issues coming in with 5 friends. 2 of my friends were African American and immediately got questioned on their shoes claiming they’re were “Jordan’s” and were not let in. I’ve come to this location being a light skin Mexican female never having any issues. They did Not let us in. I have seen white people with converse, Nike’s, and vans. I was shocked that this establishment would be RACIST. I was embarrassed and ashamed as a customer. Shame on you. I hope you reevaluate your business. I will be spreading the word of the encounter I had at this location.

This is the spot everyone comes to end their wild night out on Main street! Ive been to this bar sooo many times, that I lost count. Boots n Shoots has two stories, so good luck on going up and down the stairs with heels and a few drinks in you. We are all classy people so Im sure y all will be fine. Anyways, the crowd here is on the younger and younger at heart side. Be aware that theres always a line after 12 am, so be patient, it moves pretty fast. If youre a group of ladies then you can probably skip ;)Pros: This place is high energy and will pretty much always have a crowd dancing on the 2nd floor. If youre looking for a breather, stay on the first floor where you have more space to dance and can get a drink faster. Music is always pretty good - Mix of Hip-Hop, Top 40s, Pop, Latin.Cons: The main bar on the 2nd floor is so packed so youll have to squeeze your way through to get a drink (FYI: There is another bar on the 2nd floor by the restroom). Finally, its so crowded that theres a lot of people bumping into you on the dance floor and hardly any room to walk.

I enjoy the music, but the upstairs is extremely crowded. The entire upstairs is the dance floor but its too crowded to do much moving. BEWARE OF PICKPOCKETS!!! Keep your purses zipper clothes and dont put your wallet in your back pocket. Keep cell phones in your hand or zipped away!

Decent place. Upstairs was way to crowded and they had shot booths in the middle of the madness and people kept bumping into them and the shot guy would get mad at everyone. Also a lot of aggressive people hang out here

Sad night. My friends who were apparently white wanted to get in and the door man wanted to let them in. They knew if they were not with us they would not let us cut the line. All girls of color please know the stigma is true. They will not let you in if you are not white the manager Jessica would not let us in and the door man let our two other friends in prior to us in because they where white and more appealing in. Which I thought was a coincident in. But after leaving distraught; two other white females were let in. Jokes on them because they were Spaniards. Go next door to the New bar next door: Way better!!!!

I agree with the previous posts. This place has some kind of set up about stealing phones!! Two other people i know have also said their phones were stolen as well. I do not think it is an isolated incident at this point. So who ever the owner is she/he/they needs to hire a whole new staff!!

The worst bar ever!!!!! If you dont tip, they will call the police! So be ready to tip more, than you order!!!!! We ordered couple beers and the bartender asked the police to handcuff us, only because we didnt pay enough tips! But tips for what? For opening our beer bottles? They really use people because people get drunk, so if you dont tip, you get arrested! Especially the manager is so rude, she just wants money without any reasons. Be ware again, if I could put 0 stars I would do that! Go to this bar in your own risk!

The music was ok, I accompanied my cousins so I personally dont dance and tune the music out, however, I do walk around. We went to the second floor and it was extremely packed. There should really be some restrictions as to how many people are allowed due to safety concerns.

Your phone will be stolen! Friday night myself and other females (i didnt know them) phone was stolen. Someone in there have a whole concept put together either someone that works there is stealing the phones or someone is literally coming there to steal phones. My friend phone was stolen there last weekend. DONT GO HERE!

Main street lends itself to bar hopping very well, but this is one of maybe three spots on main where you can actually dance. Because of that it gets SUPER packed.

Dope club. Bar on the bottom and club at the top. Drinks are expensive so be sure to pregame before you visit.

Very nice facility. Has an upstairs dance area and downstairs bar. When you first walk in it smells like leather. Very appropriate for the theme. Everyone was nice and the bartender was excellent at recommending and making drinks.

Bartenders are friendly, fun, and on it! Music upstairs had a good mix of hip hop along with other genres. If we werent dancing we were lounging downstairs on the round booth type seats.

Wish I could put zero stars. Please avoid this establishment. I am extremely disgusted with an incident that went down last night. While I was drinking a water, I was approached by a man (apparently a bouncer) who told me it was time for me to leave. I asked the man why I needed to leave and he told me that the bar had evidence that I had “thrown up”. It was then that he put his hands on me to force me down the stairs. I tried to get the attention of my friends, and the man began to get aggressive. Another man showed up, and at that point I decided to walk away and go downstairs. Upon getting downstairs, the bartender notified the bouncer that I had accidentally spilled WATER and the bouncer said, “my mistake”- no apology.My issue is that the manager, Jessica Castro, refused to acknowledge the aggressive behavior of her bouncers. When talking to the cops, they stated that since the bar is private property, they have the right to tell you to leave FOR ANY REASON- and that the fact that these men forcefully put their hands on me to make me leave the building was irrelevant. They told me I was lucky I wasn’t getting arrested. I quote from the policemen, “They could not like your hair and ask you to leave. If they didn’t like your sweater, they can ask you to leave.” This is discrimination and they are essentially profiling you by their assumptions. These are mild examples of discrimination, but if they can judge you by your appearance, what’s stopping them from judging you by race, gender, etc? I am disgusted with every aspect of this business.

Fun but gets way too packed

Its downtown so you have to factor in parking, which is hard to find. Its a Western Bar vibe with hip hop music on Saturday nights. Great atmosphere, and I guess Saturday is a great night. It was packed. It gets hot when moving, but when youre standing still, youll cool off fairly quickly. It was body to body during many times of the night, and the DJ was playing great hip hop tunes which lead to intense dancing. Its a mixed crowd, but predominantly white. I would dress up casually, I heard reports of ppl being denied entry due to attire.

Had a blast spending my bachelorette party here. The DJ is awesome and loved their drinks.

Drink selection is pretty mediocre but service was pretty fast. The dance floor upstairs is pretty decent but the DJ was spinning pretty terrible music to dance to the night I went. I hope its better on other nights.

Absolute killer for downtown houston!!! Love this place... DJ plays generally a mix of pop / hip hop and top 40 with may be few electro songs... Go to the upper level and if u plan to enter after midnight on a weekend night then plan to expect a full house and a wait for 20 to 30 mins to enter...

Great Club, there is Bar amd seating Area downstairs and Dance floor and bar upstairs, they had outside seating aswell, they do play all types of music and The Beers are 6.50 overall it was So much Fun and Great place. We where free to come in.

Pretty good bar, good dance floor upstair, and a big bar downstairs, the music is good, bartenders are mostly friendly. The only problem with this place is a horrible AC and its usually packed and over crowded.

The upstairs dance floor is fun and can get a little rowdy! Somewhat small venue with long lines if you show up at the wrong time but, overall a great place to drink.

Pretty cool bar with several levels. The first level is more of a regular bar type. If you get here before the peak time, its quiet and a nice atmosphere. At night time, it will get very crowded. The second/half level has some arcade games, not too big a space. The third level/top has a dance floor. The music gets a little too loud for my liking and they continuously spray people with some fog that I dislike. Other than that, fun place to go dance and drink with friends! Can get also very crowded, like any midtown bar/club.

I have really had a good time, prices make sense, the space is comfortable, music is good, people are crazy. You cant complain about anything regarding this place, even restrooms are very clean.

Horrible service!!! The manager or the bartender, whoever she was, she was working the night shift, she kicked my friend out, called the police because she complained that we did not tip her, spilled beer on her, the police ended up hangcuffing my friend by false accusations!!! She was rude and unprofessional, completely ruined the mood of our whole evening!

I just had one of the worst experiences in my life there after 5-6 great ones. My friend whos a girl, just got forcefully exited out of the bar because the bouncer thought she threw up but she accidently spilled water. Unbelievable. We talked to the lady in charge n she said that she trusted the bouncers because they arent drinking and my friend is... Of course shes drinking its a bar (and I hope the bouncers are sober)! She wasnt wasted n just spilled water and when her boyfriend calmly talked to the cops, they shaked their heads n laughed when he left after talking. What happened to womens rights? Due process? Dont go to this bar if youre a woman, they will do whatever they want and have cops tied to their business. Go to Live instead, much more fun and friendly. Do u need to forcefully escort a woman out of a bar after an accident? With no BAC test? And she just asked why am I being forced to leave? And she was just talking, not being physical? The bouncer had the audacity to pull her out of the bar. Unforgivable

Not too impressed with this place. Went there last night and ordered 3 drinks. The place wasnt packed and it was taking a while to receive them so I asked the bartender where they were. She told me she already have them to us. I then realized she gave our drinks to another group of people at the bar. She denied it and refused to remake them or take them off the bill. After that, the manager came up and let us know we had to leave. After explaining the situation, his only response was Well, thats not the way I heard it. Definitely wont be coming back here after such horrible service.

Had a bad experience there yesterday. I was accepted at the entry with a group of three friends (only black guy among white). Once inside, waiting to buy a drink, one of the security guy asked me politely to step out. He claimed his boss allegedly saw me drop a bag a weed and that I was intoxicated. His statement was wrong since I just had a sprite at The Moonshiners (which is just on the other side of the road) prior to that.Knowing how wrong their boss was, I stepped out without doing a scene and I called my friends who were still inside to let them know. They stepped out shocked as I was.If it is not racial profiling, I dont know what else to think. I dont recommend it.
