This place has the most bizarre business model. There’s a minimum tab just to be there. Do not go there! I’ve never been to a venue where seating has to be paid for through a minimum tab. There’s no seating unless you spend a minimum of 50 bucks. I’m surprised they’re still open. I was there last night w my girlfriend and there was no one in the place, only very unfriendly waitstaff. It was close to 11pm on a Friday and not a single soul. Not worth the unpleasant experience. Thanks but no thanks!!!

Was going to go try this place out until I saw they charge 50 to sit down... screw that its cheaper to uber to mid town. They dont have a cover there.

Well I was trying to find a good place near home. But being single and a non drinker reading the reviews on this its a pass for me thats really a shame. You should post minimum 50 bucks to sit down. Try Tropicana great place no demand drinks and seasoned management. I would love to open a place some day. Faith based, safe environment you can dance, practice my case and have a great time. suggestion my fellow dancers check out Facebook for posting at dance schools that offer dance classes. Why? Salsa socials all over the city. Just friend them all and all offer Socials events all over the city normal cost is 10.00 to get in BYOB so no pressure to buy liquor. Also most people are trained dancers and instructors if single ask them they will dance with you. Anyway good luck to this place. But try a different approach like I said not everyone drinks booze. But love to dance dance student 5 plus yesrs. ️

This place is ridiculous!! They charge $50 to sit down at a table, and they dont even have Modelo on their beer list!!!!! Who do they think they are?! I see many responses to reviews that they have rent to pay and this is the reason for the minimum, but approximately every other bar on the whole planet manages to pay their rent and their employees through great service, drinks, and atmosphere. An empty place at 11pm on a weekend with a $50 minimum per table is positively ludicrous.

I havent not tried this place but online looking for places. Im new to the area and wanted a nice spot near. Im so shocked at the owner replies to the complaints. I see why the customer service is so bad from what most people say. The person responding seems to lack customer service skills.

Always have a great time in Bamboleo VIP. Best place in Houston for a good night out and they provide a really good service.

Not going to lie it’s a nice small place! I went a Friday It was my husband and I and we got a table in oreder for you to get a table you have to spend 50$ and yeah we did we had fun great music. But then we decided to go a Saturday all tables where taken and the lady in the entrance said if someone does not show up you can have the table but that we had to spend 50$ we already knew that so we ended up getting the table so there we are dancing and enjoying out drinks and our sever kept on bugging us to get more drinks so I got the 3 one and of course my husband was drinking beer so like 10 min later the server comes back saying we had to but more because the manager was bothering her that we had to reach our 50$ I mean we had 2 hours left i told her that I wanted to talk to the manager because I want to enjoy my drink not gulp it down so the manager said that the tables are for people that buy bottles not small drinks that made me super mad cuz to me that’s not the point so the server came to us and told us that she was so sorry that the manager wanted to sit a guy that had purchased a bottle!! So we ended up leaving not going back ever that is stupid so to them the one thing that matters is the $$$$ the more you spend better she does not care if you are having a great time!! Very very disappointed

Yesterday was my first time there and I love the place and also the fact it has a dress code....the only two things I did not like, was that you have to reserve a table to sit I understand that they do it when there is birthdays but to reserve a table each time you go it’s an inconvenience because there is barely any space to stand without having to bump into someone and the place is small, they need to make it bigger and more spacious so people will not be crowded....but overall it’s a good place and has good music

Ive only been there once. During my visit, they only played salsa. I didnt like that you have to spend $50 on drinks to be able to get a table. Im currently trying to loose weight and avoiding to drink my calories so I wasnt planning on drinking. I knew I wasnt going to spend $50 on drinks for sure. So... I figured Ill dance instead of standing but after a few songs I did want to sit for a bit. Unfortunately, I was unable to. I was uncomfortable for that reason and I ended up leaving.

Professional from front to back. Lovely atmosphere, lovely staff, good music, the perfect amount of chill for a dance club. Will definitely be back.

I visited this place for the first time last night(Friday )the place is small and very intimate the place is very nice looking . The bottle service girls are great and super sweet and professional the owner is also very nice .my 3 star rating is because of the music and I felt like the DJ needs more experience the music that was played was mostly salsa which was quite annoying but other than that nice place but I doubt I’ll be going back

To C Ledesma you gave the wrong rating to the wrong place. You gave us a 1 star but it was a 1 star for the Vietnamese Restaurant not our Club. We actually helped and contributed to the community and the next door neighbors complained about their parking not US!!!... try to remove that rating if you can and correct your review. I will appreciate that. Thank you

Classy & Fun crowd! The staff are so friendly and professional, if you’re into salsa, merengue and bachata this is the place to be.

GOOD SERVICE,COULD USE MORE COMFORTABLE SEATING IN THE VIP AREA, TOO MUCH SALSA MUSIC, A LITTLE VARIETY BETWEEN SETS AND A BETTER DJ CAN MAKE A PLACE POP!!!!

I like the place. Nice lighting, Modern, Great salsa music. Not that basic Marc Anthony salsa. I am talking about Grupo Niche, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Puerto Rican Power, Frank Ruiz, Adolescentes, etc. I just wish it was bigger.
