My grandma lives right next door. So I grew up coming here on the weekends. I always had fun looking at the art. It also inspired me to become the artistic person I am today. My cousins and I would have little adventures here. They also occasionally have seasonal events for Christmas, Easter and Halloween. You can also rent it out for parties. If you love art this is a nice place to come to.Unfortunately theyre under restoration and wont be reopening until March 2nd,2019.
Two days ago was the first time we visited this good place
You have to come to this place with heart and soul of a happy child. Every corner of this place puts a smile in my face. It was not the most beautiful architecture, not well preserved or maintained but it takes to another world. Its small in space but large in your eyes. It makes me wonder what was the thought of the owner when he created this? What does the color orange means to him? What does circus means to him? Did he come here to escape the mundane of our daily life? Did he wants to build something for others or for his own enjoyment?
OMG I absolutely love this place!!! Its so colorful & so beautiful I didnt get to see the orange show but I would love to come back to see it and also see how much farther the artist has come. AMAZING AND BEAUTIFUL PLACE - YES I MOST DEFINITELY RECOMMEND stopping by to see this fantastic colorful place...

Nice and good view to visit
Looking forward to having you back!
This is a great place to come
The Orange Show has a Great art exhibit at Smithers Park and Fantastic Art Car show celebration. (Just saying!) Check out the events...This place does a lot for the community and we are proud to be located near it.
Nice and good view to visit
This place was awesome! it was definitely not a normal place to see, but that was what I loved about it had several little Easter eggs throughout. Only thing is that the floor is a little unlevel for the kiddos but this is a quick walk through snapping pictures everywhere and only $5 an adult very good place for a budget fun. Will come back!
This was an AWESOME experience. I am so happy I got to take a tour of it and got a lot of interesting information from our guide! We went as a class from the University of Houston so that was wonderful. This is such a fun and quirky place to see and I recommend it if you get a chance. A great spot for inspiration for any level of art class too! There are a lot of great lessons that can be derived from the interesting history of the iconic Orange Show.
A quirky and historical landmark in Houston, that will put a smile on your face every time you go there. There are no words to describe it. Go see it for yourself. You wont regret it.
Most unique museum-- if you love oranges do not miss this

This is not so much amazing but quirky and unique. This is the Daniel Johnston of historic places. Worth the 5 bucks especially if you walk over to smither Park which is absolutely stunning.
It is located next to Smither Park. You can park the car on the street because there isnt a designed parking lot. You can park outside the Smither park. They are doing works so unfortunately when I went ( January 28,2018) it was closed even if it suppose to be open.It is usually open only during weekends until 5pm
A Houston treasure! Take your family out to see this unique and bizarre monument to outsider art! Lots of fun events for kids and adults year round (including the Art Car Parade), check their calendar.
One of my favorite things about Houston is the orange show and the art car parade because theres nothing like it on the globe. Makes me proud -- it is my favorite parade of the year. The park next door is so beautifully decorated with mosaics and quintessential text themes. Truly a must-see for anyone visiting or doing a photoshoot.
Orange Show kind of unique in its own kind of way interesting your chance to check it out in the evening time
Its a lot smaller than I remember as a kid, but still just as quirky. Its like being inside of a Dr. Seuss illustration. It does need some upkeep, but thats how I always remember it. The park next door is really nice. Overall a fun half hour or so, but I really wish itd be restored to its original glory someday.
Very interesting place. Dont skip the visit!

This is one of Houston’s hidden gems! The history of this place is amazing to read about and see. We took our engagement photos here 4 years ago because it is so beautifully quirky! Be ready to climb and do a bit of walking you’ll definitely get some extra steps in exploring all over this place.

Very “interesting” art. Very strange story of its creation. The guy really liked oranges. I mean like REALLY liked them. A LOT. Kids will love to play around. Don’t try to make sense of it, just go with it. Park next door is cool.

Interesting place. Best enjoyed if you do their scavenger hunt
Good place!!
A part of Houstons Folk art scene, the Orange Show is a labyrinth in the scheme of orange. The creator made this creation to remind everyone of the virtues of healthy eating; specifically the eating of oranges. This is one of a group of locations in Houston that exhibit the inner life and spirit of this town. If you are looking to marvel a local curiosity, go to the Orange Show - you wont regret it.
Good place!!
This has to be one of the most interesting and eclectic places I have been. Often when you go you will be there alone or just a few other customers so you can really take your time and absorb the amount of detail that was put into this place. Then once done there head right next door to Smither Park for more amazing art.

This is a cool artsy place, its its registered as a historical place, its worth stopping by just to see it if you like strange things
This is my favorite place to take out-of-town visitors. It captures the quirky nature of Houstons lack of zoning laws.
Interesting place. Only $5 entrance fee.

Growing up next door to the Orange Show was fun. I met actors, singers, and important people. They always have something interesting going on. Plus they added the Smither Park, which is an excellent addition to the Orange Show.

Fun wonderland of outsider art featuring--you guessed it--the Orange. Jeff McKissack, a postal worker and hobby welder, used concrete, rebar, mosaic tiles, found objects and recycled materials to create this not-to-be-missed Houston gem. You can spend 30 minutes to 2 hours touring the site, which includes a new park at the end of the block featuring a wall of mosaic art and an amphitheater.

Fun to look at all the work that went into this art. Head about 100ft down the road for another cool sculpture park.
Little boring
This place is awesome, it really is a great place to even drive by to see. Ive taken a few friends there and always enjoy their reaction.

A pretty good scavenger hunt
