What is there is interesting, but it is whitewashed southern history and living. No mention whatsoever of plantation life, slavery, etc. Civil war rememberences limited to weapons and medical implements. I know it is very controversial but they could have one small area dedicated to early African American life in the south.

Interesting items from historic times. Nice set up of an old cabin, old photos, dolls, furniture. Enjoyed the doll houses. Unfortunately, felt a little rushed as they were closing an hour ahead of regular closing hours, due to a catering event.

A whole section on cotton, a whole section on the civil war. Not one mention of slavery
