We rode the pedal boats in Hermann Park last weekend and had a great time. They are across the plaza from the Houston Zoo. The employees were very friendly and helpful. We noticed they had extra cleaning and precautions in place to keep the boats and life vests clean and safe. It was pretty hot and we enjoyed the spray from the fountain in the middle of the lake. Very nice experience.

We went last weekend and I must say we were really pleasantly surprised at the level of cleaning that the staff was doing between each boat ride. Each boat once returned was completely sprayed with cleaning solution and then wiped in with a cloth and then dried. Each life jacket was cleaned thoroughly as well. The surfaces were wiped by the staff frequently. There was disinfectant right at the entry point. Overall we really had a great time and this was the highlight of the day for us, especially our 7 year old who loved tempting fate with the big fountain!
