Great location for a conference. No free WiFi in the arena, which made it less ideal for business purposes. The seats were comfortable and the acoustics were good.
Def Leppard Concert 2018 was an awesome experience! Cant wait for the next concert here!
Look up online what they have to offer. Always good events going on. Most of them free. Older building but gets the job done. Parking is $6 and located on King Street. Fish for the children and grassy area to the side for a quick lunch or break outside. I suggest if you are in town to Uber it because it is very busy when events and shows are going on.
Was fun to go see RENT, especially for their 20th Anniversary tour!
So much fun! Saw Queen and Harry Potter Symphony so far.
So convenient. Been here twice for Elton John and Janet Jackson. Terrific venue. Solid food and beverages. Think it needs more bathroom stalls for the women as the queue was pretty long.
Home of the Honolulu Symphony. Weve seen fabulous performances here.
Tosca; one of most famous Operas, with such great vocalists & actors in lead roles, that made the story come alive; so much more believable & romantic! Costumes & accessories enhanced each personality! Set designs were fantastic & artistically realistic with such great 3D perspective! Totally awesome!
SPOCOM Hawaii 2019
Me and my sister in Honolulu, Hawaii at Janet Jacksons 30th Anniversary of Rhythm Nation concert.
Its always a busy and fun time as a vendor at events at the Bleisdale
Parking great. We were told it would be $8 gates up so no charge. Bathrooms in the Exhibition Hall clean & well stocked. We went to a very large party there. Room spacious. OA system hard to understand at times. Overall wonderful time was had by all.
I just saw the phantom of the opera here and I loved it! There were lots of concessions stands with a lot of choices. All the ushers and staff were very helpful and friendly especially during intermission. They directed everyone where to go and kept everyone civil and there was a sense of order in what was a sea of people. Overall it was a great experience with a great sound system to compliment a exceptional cast, crew, and orchestra. There was no better way to experience one of my favorite musicals of all time produced by the legendary Cameron mackintosh.
I’ve been to this place for several concerts and it’s a really nice concert hall. It’s not super large so you have a good seat anywhere you get a ticket. You can also hear well anywhere.
Saw Nutcracker. Show was great. Very colorful. Beautiful costumes. Glad they added more parking but I dont like that they charge $6.The facilities/buildings are showing their age. The place definitely needs renovations and maintenance. They should rebuild and add better structures that utilizes the location better.
I love remembering all the concerts I went to as a teenager and watching ice skating as a kid with my parents. It was great to visit havent been there in so many years!!! Aloha
Saw Bill Maher here. Great views, it seemed, from anywhere. I just wished they had more aisles going down the middle. Had to crawl over a ton of people to get to our seats.
Great place for Expos & Senior Fairs.Centrally located. Bus Stop is right in front from the Ewa direction. Lots of parking, but cant wait for the new renovations with even more parking stalls. Theres street parking and McKinley High School is just next door...for more parking.Theres restaurants near the area too.
Great venue but parking structure could be improved for more volume of vehicles
Serves its purpose. Concert hall seating is great. Old but clean. The kids love the surrounding ponds with large tropical fishes, especially the barracuda!
Honolulu-on-Tap was fun. Lots of drink selections and even tho there was a lot of people the lines move quickly
Not a bad seat in the house and they offer a variety of programming. Ample parking in their garage and in street.
Im nostalgic. Gonna miss this place... so many good memories of great concerts here. But i hope the new one will be better.
It was a nice day there.Grandkids had fun at the STEM program.
Its getting old, but is still the best around. Great farmers market on Wednesdays. Great shows and events. Parking can be challenging.
Went for Phantom of the Opera. Everything was perfect. It was a little on the warm side in the concert hall and the bathroom lines were really long during intermission but it did flow nicely. Not good though if you have a sensitive bladder.
I came to this area for a farmer market. Although it was small, I loved how many people showed up in support and there were many vendors. There was one fresh fruit vendor I remember going to and something that caught my eye was that they were selling rambutan, longan, sour sop and so much more. I feel terrible that I cant remember the stalls name but I do remember it was towards the left side of the event so if you find this stall give em some love! They also were selling freshly squeezed sugar cane juice and it was delightful.
Who doesnt love the Pops Orchestra in the Voncwet Hall? Always comfortable, every seat is a good one (even in the balcony!) Ushers are friendly and helpful!Love attending events here, and sometimes we get dressed up to attend. Really a lovely venue!
Awesome place to watch x1 fights
The fish ponds with the uluas.
Neal Blaisdell Center GoodThe history of this place supersedes the caliber of any performing talent.Great Local Farmers Market Every Wednesday. Really Family friendly fun and lots of good food.Generally clean venue. Workers look like they preserve the facility well.Neal Blaisdell Center BadParking is extremely expensive. Arrive early because you will wait in long traffic lines.Arena is really small but the history is really significant.
For every event Ive attended here its always been clean and well-lit and also clean bathrooms. For the specialty line for job fair tickets at the ticket office there was a sign saying exit but no arrow pointing to entrance, just a small detail to fix.
The concert hall is always a nice place to visit. Glad there was a big screen on stage to clearly see Shin Lims card tricks close up.
Went to the Made in Hawaii festival while on vacation. My friends and I shopped til we dropped. So much fun! This is an annual event. While waiting in line we met a lady from NYC who times her visits home to visit family with this festival each year.
Great Evening... BSB
Easy to find and navigate to. Lots of parking. Well maintained.
Havent been here for an event in years. Its definitely serviceable, and I enjoyed myself last night at the phantom of the opera, but this building is definitely showing its age. When the line for the mens bathroom is longer than one for a womens on ladies night, there is a serious logistical problem! The location is definitely nice, and the staff was very good, so not really too much to complain about.
Went to a pet show here and has a great time. It was basically 1 dog for every two people present. It also air conditioned which is a nice way to get out of the humidity for a while.
Its a good experience if youre there to watch or attend what you wanted to do!
5 stars for me because I live next door so I dont have to park.
We hold season tickets for the Opera. The performances are always very well done, the singing is superb, as are the costumes and staging.
Very helpful for the bus drivers. Awesome place to visit.
Open market is so wonderful ..on wednesday at this location. Great tasting food..lots of variety...worth visiting.
Went to a swap meet here. AC isnt great but the swap meet was fun!
Parking is $8. Good thing I found coupons for free admission to the food show. Facilities fine. No need to build a new center.
The Blaisdell Center needs a good makeover. Its not a bad place but there are things that need updating escalators, new seats, new bathrooms, etc.
Pups of War was incredible!!
They keep everything nice & clean. There is a parking structure, but it always fills up quickly. Upper levels of parking are really small. My car barely fits, leaves hardly any room to get out of car.
It was so easy to purchase tickets. The area was well lit and cleaned . I enjoy the phantom of the opera solo. Uber was easy to grab after show as well. Will come back here again for sure
Good seating. Just wish they sold some craft beer there. Im not too good for bud light but some options would be nice.
Really nice and easy to get to every one super nice good time
Id prefer the Stan Sheriff Center. Wish they had concerts there but great events at the NBC. Self Parking not very pleasant when you dont come at least 2 to 3 hours ahead of time. Havent had valet.
Great Time at Bellator. Mahalo VetTix for the tickets
Best experience purchasing tickets at the box office! The woman who helped me was so friendly as well as being very efficient! I wish Id gotten her name but for the benefit of the Blaisdell administration, I made my purchase on August 8th around 11:00 am. Thank you for the positive encounter!
We went to the Great American Circus. It was pretty cool. My Gkids loved it!!
Terrible. Made in Hawaii event was $7 to get in. Then they only had 5 food vendors, with below average food that cost$40, no place to sit and then it was shoulder to shoulder inside. Too many people and too many vendors. Not enough space. We left pretty quickly because it was an awful experience. Total waste of a Saturday.
Love this stadium. You have a great view from any seat in the place. We went for the state wrestling tournament, and even with six mats running, we didnt miss anything. They only had one food vendor running during this event, but they cranked out really good burgers, chicken strips, and french fries ALL day. The quality didnt go down as the day wore on.Bathrooms were always clean and stocked. It did get COLD though - the AC is strong!
Great spot easy parking had no problem leaving after the event.
The Arena was awesome. The setup for Jo Ko was 360 and the show was one of a kind. We had extra tickets as some people couldnt attend last minute. The venue was phenomenal in that the right people were at the show. There was this lady whos laugh was the best in JK minds eye and local folks who could relate to his stories. Then there was the yellow jacket whos future is so bright he had to wear shades. When black light is turned on, the yellow really shows. This was a show full of adlib jokes and also his tried and true material. Sorry Nanays out there but we were talking about chu and how you point with your lips. You had to be there. #funnyashell #joko #bellylaugh #yellowjacket
Great venue for local events. Great staff and security personal. Attention to detail supported by local eaterys ( vendors & caterers) is outstanding. Safe place for huge crowds to come together.
Great orchestra and a great movie performance for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Would recommend for any movie performance if you like the source material at all.
Well ventilated... lots of parking.. nice center.. parking fee charged
Parking was alright, the lady was nice. The people at ticket booth were also very nice. The event seemed somewhat disorganized though and the alcohol stand only opened half an hour before the event which really isnt enough time imo.
One of the best concerts, and well organized events, we had to fly in from Maui.
New Product Shows are always fun but they should have multiple entrances & workers helping people, especially the elderly. Some elderly were waiting in the line to enter, they thought it was the ticket purchase line. There should be a handicap line, a lot of them couldnt stand & wait in the long line.
I love the fish pond and the watching the big fish swim around
Graduations, church conferences, cat and dog show, concerts, one and garden shows plus more are held there. So its a great place to go to. Pleasant, tranquil and calm. Its clean.
Parking for events can be really tight given monthly parking stall renters are.numerous. getting in amd out not too bad. Need more Handicap parking along first row.and close to entry points.
Great venue to see The Phantom of the Opera. However, the facilities need to be upgraded--especially the air conditioning. Im not sure if it was only me but several times throughout the show I felt uncomfortably warm.
Great venue for the symphony. No pit, so the orchestra is on stage. Usually the choir is placed behind them if used, so they are sometimes drowned out during certain scores. Not really a bad seat in the theater since it is so small. Overall, not a bad show for the money. All the seats are odd or even numbered rows, so dont worry if your tickets are 23,25,27, youre all sitting together.
Always the perfect venue for every event we attend. All seats are great seats. Really an excellent venue.
Great place to watch whatever, whenever, parking is a total b@#!+ though.... Hint to getting around that... Valet if you can -check your event for availability. You will be happy not to have to battle the lot.
Sister in the box office was so helpful and so friendly!! First time I bought tickets from there versus online, not only is it cheaper that way but the staff in there is so nice & helpful!!
Went to see Jo Koy! A fun night! Sold out performance.
Big and busy. It was a great place for this Sport Fair. Great place to hold this fair. Lots of parking, lots of room for vendors, good bathrooms...everything wheelchair accessible.
See the holidays gift show. Got gifts for my three G. Kids. Good show. Lots of things to see
Cash Only - welcome back to 19th Century. They should put the sign: Entrance on horses only- Or is it a money laundry?
The rows are wide, allowing for people to pass easily. There was no direction to the valet parking but after circling twice, we found it. Security was a bit of an over kill and the line to get in went to the street and down the block, taking about 20 minutes. After the show, the line for valet parking was very long (but the valet service was great). So, roomy seating but poor parking and security.
Awesome!! Went to the Concert Hall for a Grade school graduation!!
Its a great place to see shows, concerts, mma, and so much more
Excellent place, really enjoyed opening ceremony of IUCN WCC 2016 at Hawaii
There are always fun events happening here. From concerts to expos. Im always stopping by the box office to see whats coming up.While there is quite a bit of payed parking, during major events you still want to come early because it will fill up fast.
The Spocom car show sponsored by Napa Hawaii was awesome!! Lots of amazing cars at a great venue with an amazing atmosphere! There was a big crowd of car enthusiasts and lots of car club representation.
Facility lacks handicapped access to balcony. No elevators or escalators. Restrooms are clean and well stocked but some automatic sinks don’t work. Good acoustics. The whole place needs a giant refurbishment. Numbers on some seats are barely visible. Carpets are dirty and need cleaning.
This is the best show venue in Honolulu. They do the job in a friendly, efficient manner.
Nice big exhibition hall. Snack bar is decent. Not much varieties
Its a dated venue and needs some serious updating. The womens restroom only has 1 handicapped stall. This was a major problem. The best part is the outdoors area to socialize and purchase a cocktail or 2.
They always have some kind of expos going on and its free to the public and its relaxing on the grass near the fish pond
Went here for a bellator MMA fight. The stadium is nice, a little small but plenty of room for the event. However with suck a small stadium they had a lot of equipment and quite a bit of it was in the way and affected the show.
Nice place. Best place to hold a big event. Its clean and its CRs are clean too. Smell good.
This is a great venue for concerts and other large gatherings
Visited for a comedian. Little confused about the layout of this place, but my friend knew which building the event was in. The location of the center allowed us to park and then walk off campus for dinner which was really beneficial.
Awesome concert and seats
Had a great time at the Cannabis conference. Plenty room. Breakout sessions, concessions, great people.
I feel wonderful spending time in this venue. What a wonderful escape from the outside heat and the chairs are comfortable.
