I texted Daniel two nights before i flew home from my vacation on oahu, and he was able to squeeze me in the following night. the place is very clean and comfy, and everyone that was there was very friendly and funny. i appreciated that Daniel was very willing to work on my tattoo design with me so that it fit what i wanted as well as my budget! Daniel’s work is absolutely perfect and exactly what i wanted, i would not hesitate to come here again!

Great tattoo shop. Staff is friendly and clean. Mike H. did our tattoos. We are a group of four that got matching tribal-style turtle tattoos. Unlike other shops we were quoted at, Mike took the time to really talk to us and give us great and honest advice before he even knew we would be his clients. Very easy going and calm experience and it was all of our very first tattoo. Couldn’t recommend more! Great and clean work!

Daniel is the man!Got my first tattoo here a week ago and the experience was awesome. This shop has a great vibe and awesome people who work there. If youre thinking about going in for some work, do it - you wont regret it. I spent a little over 5 hours in the chair and Daniel was great. He made sure we took breaks, even if I didnt think I needed them, kept asking to make sure I was doing alright and had some good conversation. Couldnt be happier with the end result and will definitely be back for more next time I visit Oahu.

I have gotten two tattoos here in about 3 years. It is a great, clean, and professional shop. My artist doesnt live in Hawaii anymore, but still makes a few trips back a year to ink his local clients. Its in a great location near convenience store and food, so if you have to wait, there are things to do.

Great place to get a quality piece of art done in a clean and professional environment with a great selection of artist and Hawaiian influenced art along side many traditional and modern pieces as well. As a Google guide I rate this place an easy 10/10.

My boyfriend and I both wanted sea-themed tattoos to commemorate our first-ever visit to Hawaii. We booked our appointments well in advance and were looking forward to them. We had a great experience! Daniel did my sea turtles and Kawika did my boyfriend’s stingray. They were skilled, professional and fun. We’d definitely go back!

This is definitely a GREAT place to get tattooed, probably my favorite. The prices are more than reasonable, the staff is extremely friendly and fun, and their art is incredible. I gave my artist, Daniel, an idea, and so far hes blown my expectations out of the water. They do walk-ins, some simple piercings, and of course appointments. Parking is pretty easy, a small walk to a parking lot thats only a dollar per hour and youre setup. The talent here, atmosphere, and pricing are all exceptional.

My first tattoo!!! Like a lot of tourist we got matching tattoos with the group we travelled with. We all got sea turtles with different designs and we are all very happy with the results. Even though we were walk ins they were able to help two of us with tattoos one night and we got appointments for the other two a couple of nights later. We appreciate the accommodations and the lovely work. Thanks guys great work! We love it!

What a awesome and great experience I had. Everyone was so friendly and nice. Every time I come to here this is the only place I get tattoos. Shane did my purple poppies and they turned out wonderful and I liked that they where reasonably priced. Definitely will be back next time iam here again.

The reasons I give this tattoo shop a one star is because 1. the final result of the tattoo came out poor quality in my opinion 2. The tattoo artist was pressing down to hard because he was saying it would make it more  dark when really it only made it scab from what another tattoo artist told me  I have had to go somewhere else for my touch up even tho they offered  a free touch up but I would rather have you do it one time and done right

Had my second tattoo done in 2 years here. The guys are all very friendly, non intimidating and professional. My tattoo is just one of Peanuts Snoopy not a fancy tribal one or a typical Hawaiian one, but I love it!!! Thanks Mike

Went with my Aunt to get her tattoo fixed and add to. Jay did an amazing job. Professional, clean, great art. If youre looking for a good shop, go there. Also saw Daniel work and he was very meticulous and understanding with a newbie to ink. Explained everything and even though the guy chickened out, Daniel was good about it and the customer still left on great terms.

Tattoo itself is good but the atmosphere in the shop is terrible. I felt uncomfortable and that I was being mocked for being a tourist.Also I feel it was overpricedWhen I spoke to a guy in the shop a few days previous and told him what I wanted he quoted me 80 to 100 dollars, final tattoo was 220 dollarsBecause of all of this I wouldn’t recommend this place. Absolutely no customer service what so ever, actually ... the opposite.**update Oct 2019**Following Kevin’s reply below I emailed him twice and have had no response.My tattoo is completely faded now and looks like it was scribbled on. This is an absolute disgrace.

GO SEE MIKE! Dude is super cool. He doesnt want to take your money. He will tell you if its a stupid idea or not straight up. His priority is the customer and money is 2nd unlike most tattoo shops. Reasonable prices (we got tats in Vegas for the same price range) and they look AMAZING. Definitely go here and get Mike.

Fantastic place to have work done.Had Mr Siichi do a fantastic hula girl on my leg. It’s been 2 weeks and looks fantastic. Have nothing but good things to say about him. Went above and beyond for a customer. While being there all the other artists were doing fantastic work too. Do recommend.

Enjoyed my experience recently at Sacred Art Tattoo. The shop is very clean and inviting. Shorty my tattoo artist was very professional, clean and very funny. My friend and I spent a whole day at the shop and enjoyed the experience. We both love our tattoos and will definitely be back!! We already have our next tattoos planned! I have gotten three tattoos here. They can do pretty much any style and are all really nice guys. Daniel is my favorite artist. Only downside is they can get crowded because of walk ins especially in tourist season.

I NEVER give 5 stars hahahaha but here I am giving 5 stars to Mike Davis... I had a tattoo that I mostly liked but it had faded and become flat so I was looking for a tattoo artist who would touch it up and add a few things... without changing it up too much. Mike did just that. I didnt need an great personality... Just a great tattoo artist... But really what a cool guy. If I was looking for someone to hang out with he would be on the short list but actually I had to come home and bring with me a great memory of a perfect day with a really amazing guy... AND a tattoo that I love love love!

I am so pleased with my experience here! I went to get my first tattoo, and Im literally the biggest baby so I was super nervous. Everyone was friendly and made me feel welcome. People react to getting a tattoo differently and Im unfortunately a poor soul that was able to tough through it enough to get it finished. After Vince finished, I didnt feel so good and everyone was kind and made sure I was better before I left. If I can ever get the courage to get another tattoo, I will definitely be coming back here.

I had my first ever tattoo here . I wanted a memory from my time in Hawaii. Love my tattoo and my experience with this shop.

I was recommended to Sacred Art by a friend. I went to Shawn. This was my 4th tattoo and I left there the happiest I have been. He was professional and very helpful. His work was beautiful and I loved his attitude. He has been doing this since 1997 and it definitely shows! I will be going back to him next time I am in Waikiki and recommend him to everyone.

My husband got a Polynesian shoulder tattoo, it came out fabolous. Daniel did exactly what he wanted. My husband has over 30 tatttos & been to multiple different shops/artists. My hubby will wait till we go back to Hawaii next year to get more work done with Daniel.

I got my first tattoo on vacation at sacred art while in Hawaii. I went in nervous not knowing if I was going to be able to get inked because im 17, and I dont have the same last name as my mother. This wasnt a problem and I got my tattoo quick and easy. Sean drew up exactly what I wanted and I was done in less then 10 minutes. I would definitely recommend sacred art if you want to get a tattoo while on vacation. I am very pleased with the tattoo that I have! Im will definitely be back there next vacation.

Wanted my first tattoo while on vacation last month so headed to Sacred Art. I was a walk in and was helped immediately by Tomo who helped me view any options that resembled what I described. Pulled out a beautiful draw up he had done and I was sold. Great service. Tomo was great and the tattoo is beautiful. Everybody at home loves it and I get compliments daily.

Im really disappointed, I did a tattoo in August 2016 and only two months later, part of the tattoo was erased.I contacted them and I had a person who was sorry for me and offered to refund me $ 50.Since no news we have made various exchanges in writing and it is nobody there ever done anything for me so do not go.It was that I was really important to me as well as where it was made (hawaii).Response to Kevin :I give you four times, the number of credit card, and what you asking me ( on Facebook messenger)Doesnt matter now.I return on a tattoo shop for the erase part.

Very disappointing, went in for my first tattoo. Paid $90 for a tattoo that took less then 10 minutes, and it turned out bad. Daniel did my tattoo and he was pressing so hard that it actually scarred and it does not look good at all. Very disappointed and will not be ever returning.

If we could, wed give 2 stars for the appointment/organization and 5 stars for the tattoo artists. We made an appointment 3 days before with Mark for 6pm. On the day we arrived five minutes early, but Mark wasnt there?! In addition another tattoo artist had called in sick, leaving poor Tomo (who actually had his day off) and a colleague of his from SFA (who was helping out and didnt actually work there) alone with all the work. When we got there, they were obviously behind schedule and asked us to wait. After 45 minutes we were just about to leave - slightly annoyed as this was our treat on our last night in Honolulu - when the lady from SFA (sorry we forgot you name) was ready to start on my husbands tattoo. Right after that Tomo was ready for mine as well. So much for the appointment/organization... Now to do good part: Tomo and the lady from SFA did a brilliant job on drawing our tattoos just the way we wanted them and really took there time. The results are even better and we couldnt have asked gor two other tattoo artist!!! Thanks for your great work, but please get the organization sorted ;-)
