Womble Park Athletic Fields

Nice fields. Too bad COVID rules made parents watch from sideline through chain link fence adorned with advertising signs, significantly restricting field of view. Couldnt the signs be moved?

Nice kids playground. Lots of shade. Trails for thise who likes walking)

This place is cool. But there are so many soccer moms.Holly Springs as a town is like a white kid thats never been dunked on. Too much confidence.

Nice facility. Very nice employee at concessions. No soap in the mens bathroom.

Frustrating to see people clearly ignore the yellow tape to allow their child to play while the rest of us go about telling our kids the parks are closed due to COVID. Wish staff was on site to rightfully remove these people during COVID from the parks.

Very clean and well maintained place. Enjoy bringing the kids here to ride their bikes and play tennis.

Soccer fields, tennis courts, baseball fields, playground, clean restrooms, walking trails, a pond and people playing, laughing - and families and friends all enjoying the North Carolina weather. Doesnt get more perfect that that! Did I mention they have a pavilion to rent plus BBQ grills to use!!

I enjoy waking here, and kids enjoy the playground area. Quiet, and clean park. Now during COVID, the short walking trail is nice to have. Only downside is there is no shade on the trail at all.

One of the best parts of Holly Springs. These are well-kept and pleasant as player AND spectator.

Great condition right now with only minimal activity. Few people playing volleyball and one ladies soccer team practicing.

This field is well-maintained and has to my complete surprise the fake grass or ground cover. I am told although it is colorful, clean and not as messy like fresh grass, it can become slippery after or during rain.I enjoyed watching my nephew and his team members play soccer here two weeks ago. It was really relaxing to watch. There is a parking lot next to the field along with a sheltered area with picnic tables. This place is easy to find.If you attend soccer matches here, you might want to bring some collapsible chairs, sunglasses, sunhat and bottled water.

Artificial turf on the playground. It was kinda small though for all the kids there. One of the structures were broken. We liked the walking trail and the pond. My kids wished the were big kid swings instead of just 2 baby swings. Overall it is a nice park.

If you are looking for open field and soccer fields, this is the place. As for tennis, there are only two courts so its a hit and miss if they are taken. It would be nice if they added a few more.

Very nice park and Holly Springs is runner friendly!!! We ran past this field today and it was a great morning for a run, soccer, football, or just going for a walk. There are restrooms here, the park was very clean, and the people were friendly.

Nice park with two main playgrounds each for different age groups. Some of the equipment is roped off as it needs to be repaired.

Womble Soccer fields are incredible. They are well maintained clean and well lit. Personally I think we are lucky in this town to have access to such nice fields. The town staff does a great job managing the rec sports programs and it is amazing to see how many families come and go for games on Saturdays. This is a great community and it shows!

Softball fields were great. Better than a lot of other area fields. Good signage to get there.

We signed up for kids soccer for the fist time here. There was an incident. A particular referee insists on placing the ball just withing a few feet of the goal during a free goal kick. These are 10 year old children not toddlers. This is dangerous and led to a fight on the field. The goalie blocked a free kick within just a few feet while the kicker was so angry he kicked the goalie in the face. This started a fight with the assistant coaches and the police were called. All other referees place the ball 10 yards away from the goal for safety reasons. We will be avoiding this soccer organization in the future.

There are still basketball goals outside. However, its double rim. If you know, you know. Other than that, nice park. Doesnt seem like anyone takes care of the park, but I guess you can say the park is naturally clean.

Its a nice park but it always seems to be having repairs on it. Today there was 2 sections closed off..

We love it there. Plus the whole place is covered in shade. The kids meet new friends, its such a wonderful place. Highly recommended.

Good playground under shade trees. Walking trail is mostly paved and athletic fields are great. Only thing that could be improved is a fence around the playground since its right next to the creek/pond and dangerous for small children.

Nice place for a walk or run.

There is enough for your children to keep occupied all day. Most of the park is kid friendly ( toddler to 4). Restrooms are clean and upkept. Downs for me are dogs are in the playground area -allowed/clean/safe.

Plenty of parking, restrooms are conveniently located, and the turf fields are nice. The only downside is that I feel like we take a portion of the fields with us every time we leave; there are little black beads everywhere and we find them for days/weeks.

There are a lot of trees that provide shade during the hot summer sun. I would highly recommend this park to families with little ones.
