Parrish Womble Park

Very large park with an all ages playground, tennis courts, soccer fields, baseball fields, kickball field, batting cages, and walking/running paths. Tons of green space for lounging, walking the pets/kids, and just enjoying nature. The soccer fields are huge and obviously well cared for. Likewise the baseball fields and tennis courts. The walking paths are asphalt and perfect for learning how to ride a bike. The playground is pretty good, but nothing fancy. Kids will love it, of course. The only downside is that parking can get crazy when there are soccer and baseball games going on.

Such a large park in a really great area. Plenty of fields, courts, and paths to use. Great place to enjoy nature and seen pretty greenery.

Beautiful scenery on a cool crisp morning. Had my breakfast there. Of course I cleaned up after myself to keep it beautiful.

Decent looking park that is well maintained and near a greenway. The downside is that there are many piles of dog waste all over. Be mindful of where you step but they are also on the walking/biking areas too. Really gross.

Fabulous park. Well taken care of, plenty of green space as well as play structures. A nice stream with a duck pond. Walking trails. Lovely.

Great place to walk, you can bring your kids, pets, the kids bicycles, stroller. Good facilities to practice soccer. The fields are artificial turf and plenty of parking.

There are only two tennis courts here, it would be nice if they added more so its a hit or miss if they are taken. They are nice courts, individually enclosed so for the new players you dont have to worry about messing up your neighbors game.

Great fields. Good location!

Fields are great, again not so good for stands and parking. Im certain that one game being played is more than sufficiently ok, its tournaments that present the problems. The players like it a lot for games and practices and theyre the ones that count

This place has something for every kid age. We especially love that theres a pond and a little Creek the kids can explore in. My Mama Tribe have kids ranging from just turned 1 to 9 years old and all of the kids love the playground! Its also really shaded which is sometimes hard to find in NC.

Nice and clean fields and facilities. All around great place.

Always a classic to go with kids. The playgrounds are awesome, the baseball and soccer fields are really nice, and the walking/biking trail is fun. They even have beach volleyball courts! I tried to have a picnic under one of their shelters, but the flies are insane there and they landed on everything! Please fix this problem!

Great place to walk ur dogs

Great place. Outdoor playground for small and big kids and a lots of fields. There is also a small pond. Great place for kids to burn some energy. We love to come here.

We signed up for kids soccer for the fist time here. There was an incident. A particular referee insists on placing the ball just within a few feet of the goal during a free goal kick. These are 10 year old children not toddlers. This is dangerous and led to a fight on the field. The goalie blocked a free kick within just a few feet while the kicker was so angry he kicked the goalie in the face. This started a fight with the assistant coaches and the police were called. All other referees place the ball 10 yards away from the goal for safety reasons. We will be avoiding this soccer organization in the future.

Excellent park to go to. It has nice walking trails, baseball/softball fields, soccer fields, playground and pond. Its pet friendly also.

Great running trails. A few spots under construction but consider them times to engage your balancing skills on rough terrain.

This is a great community park. It has tennis courts, astroturft soccer fields, baseball fields, a playground and small amphitheater. There is an almost 2 mile figure eight loop, paved trail.

Nicely maintained by the City of Holly Springs.

One of our favorite playgrounds in the area. Plenty of climbing structures and soft turf to run around on.

Huge fan of this place. Womble park has a little bit of everything, tennis, baseball, soccer, playgrounds, and more. Great for kids and new families wish I grew up around here when I was young. Rarely super busy I never have a problem getting a spot to play or park. Everyone you meet is nice and willing to let you join in on a pick up game.

Very nice park. Paved walking track style with gentle hills. Beautiful location. Kids love playinh on the tire swing.

Big park. Mostly Soccer fields

The only downside to this park is that there isnt quite enough parking here on busy weekends. The soccer league fills up the parking lots and the baseball games fill up the baseball parking and more.The open areas and trails are perfect for young kids to feel safe while older kids will like that expanse of the area where they can hangout with friends.Great covered area if you bring a lunch or if it starts raining. There are restrooms available too.

Great soccer fields and an amazing baseball facility. A few basketball courts as well. Great playground for kids and a nice walking/jogging path. Great family park! If you want to feed the geese, please dont feed them bread! Its not good for them. Instead bring corn, lettuce or other greens, oats and even seeds.

Great place for a walk.

The playground equipment is nice and the area is well kept. The soccer fields are beautiful (although there is recent question about the safety of ground rubber on turf). The facilities are decent, but maintained. The baseball looks nice from the outside (i have not entered them).

Great place for a run. Great atmosphere. A lot of things to do such as play soccer, baseball, football, tennis, volleyball, running, walking. It also has a nice playground.

Absolutely no shade on the track. Its clean and not too busy. The playground is great for the kids.

The community here is amazing, its the usual kick the ball over the fence and someone runs and throws it back over. its nice how they have 2 tennis courts, one really big one on the left and 2 medium sized one on the right, bathroom good, garbage cans are reachable everywhere. playground is safe and has a nice platform too it, to me its a nice chill place with friends. nice jog around track that goes around the soccer field that is about 2/5 of a mile long. the soccer field is a wopping 13 ACRES!! amazing... For Fishermen; I have caught several 13 inch bass in that pond they have... on that pond i only do catch and release but yea, they should be some big ones in there... some parts of the park have online accessible live cameras too. the rangers and staff here are nice and helpful as well... i have had a few encounters with the sheriff there for riding motorized vehicles there, but i have had my fun and i respect that. i love the police in holly springs they are really laid back most of the time and are also helpful no matter what the deal is, have a good attitude and comply with reasonable orders and doing so will minimize the punishment by A LOT... they usually have a few police officers there by the soccer field when big activities are going on. the only thing i do not like about womble park is, the water fountains, they have 2 next to the tennis courts and they are freeze proof but they dont really shoot out water making it hard to drink. overall, Cool place to hangout and have family time or time with friends. Bring water bottles on hot days.

A fun park for kids. Turf makes it nice and clean. Lots of paths around all the sports parks to walk or let kids ride bikes.

It is a good place to go with your family and there are also soccer fields where you can sign up and play on a team there is also base ball fields and tracks and lots of other things to do their

I hate the fake turf. In the hot sun, the fumes can take your breath away. And the rubber granules get in everything. But I love to watch our Grandson, play soccer, so we put up with it.

Great Park, has everything

There are baseball diamonds, there is a playground. Its all a bit lacking an atmosphere of fun or peacefulness. Nothing really connects things together. There is no obvious place to walk a dog. Unless my child were in little league, I dont think Id be visiting here again.

Nice complex convenient to highway

One of the best parks in holly springs with a large play area and walking paths for exercise. There are good picnic areas for families and open spaces for activities. It can get very crowded during weekends and vacation times.

Wonderful kid play area! Well lit walking path for evening walks. Soccer field. Plenty of picnic tables & clean bathrooms.

Linked up to the local greenway so you can make your way over to Bass Lake as well. Lots of parking, baseball fields, soccer/lacrosse fields, volleyball court, playground, etc. Great place to go for a walk or bring the family. Shelter and picnic area also.

Turf fields are well-maintained. Water-fountain and bathrooms available. Concession stand did not have any substantial food like hot dogs Saturday morning when I was there for youth soccer tournament.
