Its a well hidden beach nook from the worlds eyes. After you exit the forest you reach the lake. Despite the fact that is for residents only, I took my chance and visited the park. I dont know if it was luck or not that I didnt get a ticket for parking my car on the street (Raven st & Sheridan st, if Im not mistaken; due to Covid-19 the parks parking was closed ). For those who like more isolated beaches, this one would fit. I would say it looks like a beach of a depopulated island :)

Great secluded woodsy, shaded Park with the sound of the waves in the background. From the parking lot by the beach, look for the path with steps off to the left that leads up to the park area. There is beachfront, but no lifeguards so this is not a swimming beach.

Small beach with clear views across the lake. theres a good chance you will have it to yourself or share it with a few people. Because theres no swimming it tends to be visited mostly by adults enjoying a quiet moment watching the waves.

My favorite park in HP. The Garden on the bluff is gorgeous along with the view! You can walk on the beach or climb the steps to the bluff. It’s a hidden gem -

I love this hidden gem, but sad to see that most of the beach is gone. Its been a rough on the lake, with the higher level and large waves this spring and summer. The north end of the beach is completely gone and its difficult to reach the stairs. I like to park on Forest Ave (free parking) and walk down Ravine Dr and make the loop, walking down the beach and up the stairs and steep trail, towards the upper gardens. There is a gazebo at the top and a large open field with benches, that have plaques of loved ones on them. Many of the trees have a plaque two. You follow the pathway around to another set of stairs leading down to the parking lot. You have to have a village sticker or a Lakefront parking pass, otherwise you face a $75 fine. The lakefront parking pass is expensive. I wonder if the village will ever restore the beaches.

Really nice park with beachfront (think for hanging out at the shore and less for swimming) and some nice, easy trails through a lovely wooded area.Small parking area at the base of Ravine Drive, but remote enough to where its never very busy.In my opinion, a great place for a beach or park (up above) picnic.

Good place but requires a permit and very limited parking. You can park in the parking outside the park.
