My step daughter loves this park, it has everything from playground to basketball court, baseball field and skate park but not sure if theres a bathroom there. It has plenty of trees around which makes it awesome especially during the hot summer days.

This is such huge park-- we love it for all the kiddos and the toddler section is fenced in!

I love Sunset Woods Park and so does me family. It is unfortunate that The Firehouse and The Highland Park Theater is no longer standing. However, you can always make lovely memories at Sunset Park with friends and family.

The rocket structure is old. The park is vast and beautiful.

Beautiful Park close to the downtown section of HP. It is well maintained with plenty of swings and such for the kids, skateboard area, baseball diamonds, tennis courts, ice rink in the winter, pinic table pavilions, and great walking trails.

Clean quiet surrounded by majestic oaks. A rocket ship with attached slides has defined this park since I played there in the 80s.

This place was well kept and spacious. Had different playgrounds suitable for kids at different ages. Bathrooms were clean too. You can relax or have a little bonding with your kids.

Large clean park, many things to do for all ages. Plenty of parking and bathrooms also. Lots of green space and areas to just run around. One of the nicest parks in the area. This park has wide open spaces plenty of nice mature trees with plenty of shaded areas. There are also baseball fields and an enclosed skate park, areas to walk the dogs along the large walking path, garbage cans as well and this park has plenty of benches and tables scattered throughout the whole park.

Beautiful park, they have done a wonderful job with the upkeep. I remember going to camp there as a child, brought back great memories.

I give this park 5 stars! Great place to take kids ( so much room to run and play and many jungle gym equipments). But for me, and many others, its a wonderful place to just walk. Right smack in the middle of nature, hills to climb up ( feel the incline burn) and a serene walking trail. Also- Pokemon Go fans pay attention: there are So many poke stops, gyms and nests! Its one of my go-to places to walk and play pokemon Go!

This is my favorite park on the planet. Go there while you still can because it is about to drastically change. They are about to build tall condominiums on the edge of the park which will completely ruin the park. The city of Highland Park doesnt care what their residents want. They havent cared for years! They have continued to build tall and ugly buildings despite what are residents say. They need a new group of people running this town

Huge park with many different playground areas. Theres a sand area, several play structures, a park district building with facilities and water fountains, and plenty of open space. Its a great place to spend a few hours on a nice day. There is also ample parking if youre driving there. The grounds can get quite muddy when its been raining, so dress appropriately in the spring.

If Im up north Ill make a pitstop by this park just because its awesome. Its huge and has three distinct park areas. I like that the little kids area is fenced off from the rest. More parks would be amazing if they were modeled after this particular one!
