Very cool tour. Tour guide is very knowledgeable & thorough. The cost of the tour goes towards maintaining the home ... well worth it!

Great place to learn some history on Victorian living.

If you are into visiting old houses, this is one place to go. Me and my brother and our wives toured the house with Stacy as our guide. The first floor stairs and floors are all wood. Lots to see and learn the history. Several surprise rooms. When you sign up, for the house tour, look around the house, that was moved to the current location and visit the display regarding the history of infantile paralysis in Hickory.

Very educational, i loved the old timey looks and feels. History is the best!

Good place to stay while waiting on a patient

I love the history of this house and the stories they tell. We have been to the Halloween tour and the regular tour.

Excellent tour guide! House was breathtaking! Would definitely go back and highly recommend a visit!

They need to update the recording on the answering service. They are CLOSED until March 2020. The online information also needs updating as it too indicates they are open. Not so. Maybe we will try again later but our attempt at a visit yesterday was a waste of time.

I took my 92 year old mother and we had a blast!! The tour guide was awesome. Three floors of beautiful history. A must see!!!!! (-:
