The theatre is nice, screens are big, chairs are reasonably comfortable. The big downside to this theatre is they don’t get too many films. Nearly half of the best picture nominees for 2020 didn’t make it to Epic. Not fun having to drive to another town if I want to see anything that isn’t a big budget block buster.

Great movie place and clean area!

Fast Service at ticket booth & ordering food/drinks. Friendly employees. If I were to rate this theater for its Cleanliness - they would not pass! Bathrooms & individual theater rooms were very Nasty. Unlike, other movie theaters I have been to... their employees are always CLEANING in between movie showings.

My primary reason for liking this theater is that there is no reserved seating. No lines of people trying to make up their minds on which seat to select. they do need better staffing during peak times as the ticket lines are sometimes too long to put up with. Also need more people behind the counter before the movies. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Sadly, the restrooms are equipped with air dryers not paper towels. Not good at all.They always have first run movies.

Clean love it keep it open

Clean interior and exterior. Well staffed with courteous personel who knew what they were doing. Well maintained and comfortable surroundings. Made a Sunday afternoon at the movies a pleasure instead of a dreaded task.

The people working here on Christmas Eve were great. We came to see a mystery, and the movie was awesome. The real mystery is why they charged $20- for two small bottles of water and two frozen pretzels that were stuck in a microwave for thirty seconds!

A nice and convenient venue for viewing first-run movies, with ample parking and a complete concession stand. Very clean and well-maintained facility that is in need of some maintenance and upgrades in its restroom facilities.

Even during trailers, it was so dark we ran into rails and steps.. I couldnt see my 5 year old in front of me. Should leave on running lights at least while still seating..Clean, comfortable, high back seats, each row higher than last. Staff friendly and efficient.

Consider epic theaters an average movie theater nothing great nothing horrible my only suggestion is if you go in the winter you may want to arrive and a full ski suit due to the lack of supplied heat or better yet bring your own heater i understand it cost alot to heat that movie theater i really do but when youre sitting there will the under armour sweatshirt and a jacket in the end of your nose is getting cold there might be a problemthis is not the first time i experienced this at that movie theater in the winter months id rather pay an extra five bucks a ticket and actually be warm i always go to first showings usually that might be the mistake maybe by the end of the day it is heated up to an acceptable level i really dont know

Epic was epic this summer with $1 movies each week I was able to take my grandson to several which he enjoyed. That also took up time in what could have an otherwise boring day so woohoo I love them!!! And the movies where current so therefore attention was maintained so I love them. All in all good experience

Went to see 1917. The theater staff was professional and courteous. Will definitely return for other showings.

Nice theaters, good seating. Understaffed but the (very?) young people working there do an excellent job.

The reason for the bad review is we were in #9 for the 7:20 Fast and Furious Movie..and it had not even been cleaned!! There was a nacho tray sitting on 1 arm rest and a coke on a different one. The 2 ticket people were nice but the theater was NOT cleaned!! And to make matters worse I had to go and ask them 2 turn the lights off..clearly 1 shouldnt watch a movie during the week!!

So the strawberry blonde manager was very rude to me when I said something about the signs not working, pointing out that it was because of corporate not a responsibility of management. So my question is are the filthy bathrooms and broken latches hanging off the non closing stall doors also because of corporate or bad management?

Nice place for a movie night out. Building needs work, but nothing seems to get fixed.

Enjoyed the theater with my sister...We went to see Jumanji The Next Level. Worth the price of admission...7.50 for the matinee and friendly employees.

Its the only theatre in Hendersonville and theyve done some updates but only so much you can do for this location without starting over. Some theatre rooms have odd smells but Ive noticed that less and less. There was one I went to that smelled like pee and just generally unkempt despite the floor being cleaned. I havent experienced that since I made a complaint to management so thats an improvement. I like that the seats arent the electric ones but they do have the arm rest that retracts up between the seats if you want so you have room. The theatre is sports stadium style, escalated seated rows, which I like because Im short and can see over peoples heads and not be too inconvenienced if someone gets up to leave. Big screens and good quality. Its a mix between a modern and the classic feel.

With a conveniently located ABC, drinking at the movies has never been easier. Courteous staff keen to facilitate a good time dont check bags. Strongly recommend.

Nice little movie theater complex. We go here regularly because of its ease of access compared to the big Regal at Biltmore Square. Friendly, helpful staff that still cares, ample parking right out front. Areas and theaters are overall clean, plenty of spacious, clean restrooms, good service at concessions. (It would be nice, if they offered some non-sugar based snacks other than popcorn.)They are very current in their movie offerings, but they dont as yet have online seat reservation capability or big recliner seating.

Whenever Im in the mood for a movie and dont want to spend a lot, this is my favorite. Epic is a regular theater with no frills but offers the lowest ticket/concession prices for newly released films in the area. That paired with its convenient location to Henderson County make it a good choice.

This is a good theater to go to. It is older but very clean and well kept. The prices are like all theaters, insane!!! For concessions but great for the movies. They play all the new stuff with plenty of room for seating. They even have special old time movie nights!!! They have rooms for parties and a small arcade. They are in a great location also.

Only local theater, that is the ONLY reason we go. Terrible service, even worse seats, and it usually smells. If Im going to pay 5.25 for a small drink I expect it not to be flat!

Id give it a Five, but we were actually having to fan ourselves in the theater. Need to fix the AC... the area outside the theater was cool, but not in the theater. We told an employee, so hopefully it gets fixed. Staff are friendly.

Comfortable and well maintained. Prices are a little high, especially food, but that seems to be the norm these days. Good variety of movies considering what there is to choose from these days.

Was clean and not crowded. Took my two girls too watch Frozen 2, had enough showings that it wasnt crowded.

While visiting the mountains. Dont let a rainy day get you down. Just 20 minutes from lake lure or chimney Rock is Epic Theater in Hendersonville. Like many theaters there are lots of movies, overpriced popcorn and a bit worn but comfortable interior. But its better than being stuck in a hotel during the rain.

Great local theater. Always have good movies playing. Flashback movies play on Wednesdays and Sundays. Popcorn is delicious and the theatres are clean. Chairs are pretty comfy too.

This movie theatre is ok. I go here regularly for convenience purposes, but honestly youre better off going to regal theatre in the Biltmore plaza. This movie theaters snacks are so expensive most people, me included, just go to the big lots next store and buy snacks to sneak in. It seems like most of the workers know that people sneak in snacks but just dont care honestly. The seats in the theatre cant be that old, but theyre fabric and I cant imagine theyre all that clean. Most theaters these days seem to have some sort of faux leather seats, this theatre has seats that feel like an old Toyota. No 3d movies are actually shown here either, which seems odd to me, but apparently they dont have the technology for it. Overall this theatre isnt terrible, if youre just trying to see a movie Youre excited about and plan on going alone, I suggest it. But if you plan on going to see a movie with family or friends to have a fun night out, its a little out of the way, but just go to regal, the seats are better, the popcorn taste better and the employees are more polite and it feels like they care more about the service theyre providing.

My only complaint is not the theater but the rude people in the theater. They need to turn off their phones.

Went to see Malficent today. Right at the climax a red line came through the screen and they couldnt fix it. we all demanded our money back. This also happened when we watched Lion King there, but it was only brief during that movie. They obviously need new equipment. Also they didnt have hot dogs.

I would enjoy a beer or glass of wine while watching a movie. Not available here. But nice to be near by.

Tuesday is cheapTuesday. Tickets are $6.00 for everyone except for Sony films. The theatre was not crowded and the popcorn fresh. The staff was friendly and helpful. Good selection of movies. We need to support the local movie theatre so they continue to show movies on the big screen.

Prices are fair, staff is friendly. This place needs a good cleaning. Its quite dirty. Better yet; total renovation.

Theater is okay... Needs some updating. Food and popcorn is expensive and you get less then you would at other theaters for the same price.

Grateful they offered the Grateful Dead 1991 Movie-Show. However the sound quality at the theater sucked. You could not hear the concert. Feel the music as you might with any other movie there. Poor sound quality at this theater. WE asked them twice to turn it up as suggested on the golden road. If they did you still were listening to a sound that was a tad above a whisper. WE went outside the doors to make sure it wasns heard in the hallway and you could hear sounds from the surrounding theater halls just not where the Grateful Dead show was playing. Would not go back to see/hear a show there again unless they stated they would solve the problem.

Projector was super dim and blurry, couldnt see any of the darker scenes, probably havent maintenances them since the place was built. The side lights kept flickering.

This is a very decent little theater. The rooms are relatively small and intimate. The chairs are comfortable, and the staff is polite. I dont really like being checked when I walk in to the lobby, but I cant really blame them for doing so in this day and age.This is a very decent little theater. Id recommend it to anyone in the area that is looking to catch a flick.

I absolutely love this theater. I live in Chimney Rock, so it is a little bit of a hike for me to get to any theater, but I have always been greeted with kindness at this theater. The food is good and the popcorn is fresh. It is very clean and the bathrooms are spotless. Comfortable seats too! Love this theater!

I dont understand why I would order my tickets online, get a barcode showing I purchased tickets to stand back in the line with everyone else that is purchasing tickets to show the person I had already bought a ticket and only then be allowed inside.

Love that they have 12 Theaters so you have a wide variety of choices for the movies usually two people can get into the movies for somewhere around $15 we usually go about 4 p.m. or 2 p.m. for the early show when we dont like to stay out very late and then we usually go out to eat afterwards cuz its not like we can afford the concession food thats for sure $15 for a popcorn $6 for a slushie not counting the rest of their prices I dont think so not in this lifetime I would rather wait and go out to eat after the movies

Fairly nice theater. The best thing about it is if you go in the afternoon there is almost no one there. I have been the only person in a movie more than once.

Its OK. No drinks for kids like juiceboxes or milk, just slushes. It could be a better experience if they tightened up. Employees less than enthusiastic and theres almost always some avoidable error happening with us or some other family when we go there.

Great food and drinks, food selection of movies, and comfortable seating.

The concession prices are out the roof way too expensive. $ 21.00 for two small sodas and two small ( cold ) popcorn. People on fixed income cannot afford these prices. Hendersonville is filled with senior citizens cut us a break . The theatre experience was very nice.
