I work here remodeling trailers and doing mantince and I have to say it is a rather quiet community full of colorful characters.
Never been here in my life
Visited someone in the 55 & older park. Nice layout. Not trashy. Was surprised to see how close the mobile homes are to each other. Packed in like a can of sardines! Some of the homes look like theyve seen better days & need to be moved out or torn down. Its a tight knit community & everyone looks out for one another.
I would not recommend it to anyone based on the current management and state it is in. Not sure if it is due to the owners lack of knowledge or the staffs lack of caring. Most of the mobile homes are in a state of disrepair and the grounds are not kept up either..broken fence at entrance...leaves piled up and lawns not maintained well. All sorts of characters coming and going in this place. Not a quality place to live in Hendersonville.
DO NOT LET YOUR LOVED ONES RENT HERE!!!Update- It has been over a year since my original review. The park is under new ownership and management but my friends trailer still has not been completely fixed. He was told by new management that his trailer would be fixed AFTER the unoccupied trailers were repaired. I guess not much has changed.Original review- I have a friend that lives here. The condition of the trailer he lives in is DEPLORABLE!!! He had to move from one trailer in the park to another and the trailer he was put in needs to be demolished. The maintenance man/ park manager does nothing but put Band-Aids on the repairs that need to be done. Nothing is ever fixed properly, its fixed cheaply. The maintenance man also speaks to my friend in a very rude and condescending manner even when he knows my friend is special needs. This trailer park needs new management. I wouldnt recommend this place to ANYONE!!!
Love to rebuild the old trailers
Great place to live. We loved it there. Manager and maintenance man Very personable and helpful.
I help care for a resident that lives here, so Im in and out of here 5 days a week. Most residents are nice. But, just as about any community has, there seems to be some different residents that live here. But, overall it seems quiet and safe!! When I first started going there, I was trying to establish a routine to help my patient get to the car at her door, so that she didnt have to walk far. Apparently it took us too long to get her to the car and other residents complained I was blocking the road. I COMPLETELY understand, although I think if it was their elderly mother, wouldnt they appreciate and understand that Im only trying to make if easier for the elderly lady?!? The husband of the resident manager stood in the middle of the road, as I was leaving with my patient, one morning. He handed me a note from his wife, telling me theres ample parking and for me to not park in the road. Since the husband had taken a bully attitude towards me, and blocking the road so that I couldnt leave, I chose not to try and explain I wasnt long term parking in the road, only trying to get my little 80 year old patient in the car. The whole situation had a redneck/hillbilly feel to it. I would NOT choose to live around those type of people! Overall, most residents are nice! But, you have to expect some trailer park people live there too!
Very well-kept and clean the people that live there were very warm and friendly a great place to live inter-communal retirement society
I loved it ️ we had a wonderful time
Its quiet and has no students! Pluss u have to be 55yrs old or older to live at summer path!!! And beautiful country side 5min drive from home! Waterfalls u cannot not be at AW with the views! Southeastern Ohio is not even close to the beautiful countryside here!!!
