Lake Las Vegas Water Sports is insane! Probably my new favorite place to go in Las Vegas and its perfect for the hot weather. Had a blast going through the inflatable obstacle course, felt like a kid again. Beautiful scenery for kayaking or paddling boarding. So much to see and do, definitely worth spending the day at!
Beautiful outdoor scenery, an Italian style village, and lakefront resorts are not typically what one thinks of when picturing Las Vegas. I guess you can rent this boat in my photo. They call it a yet, so I guess theyre probably right. Anyways, Lake Las Vegas Water Sports is dope. Theres a lot to do. The water smell a little bit, but its fairly priced for the activities.
I love Lake Las Vegas! I participated in a paddleboard Yoga class and it was fantastic! The instructor, I believe her name was Sierra, was so encouraging and positive. (But please someone get her a lapel mic!) It was the perfect way to start my day and got me invigorated! Highly recommend this class and I hope they offer more in the future.
The boat ride made our picnic lunch day something fun and more than just being out for lunch. Staff was excellent and courteous. SEASONS Market made great sandwiches and had every snack we could want. There too, Staff was welcoming. All around a nice day for a lunch outdoors!
It was so much fun!!! A hard workout for adults!! Be prepared to work your arms and legs pulling your body weight up on the rafts. Also we went later in the day so it wasn’t too hot. And not that many people for social distance purposes. Oh lastly, there’s not a place to change just bathrooms in the grocery store. And it’s best you text the contact number to get quicker replies to any questions you have.
Weve been paddling on this lake since we moved to Las Vegas a couple years ago and its the one place besides church that we never tire of. Gorgeous atmosphere and super nice people. A little pricey but its all worth the experience. We hang out at Lake Las Vegas when we need a good vibe.
Peaceful, relaxing and fun. You make your environment. Pandemic times still can be a get away to a place thats beautiful and staying social distant. Funny thing was I sneezed and all eyes were in me lol. Bad allergies folks. Stay safe. We can all be and still enjoy life healthy, mindful, and cautiously. God bless.
We did the inflatable course the other day, we had a pretty good time, I’d say it’s better for kids. We were worn out after the allotted time and didn’t feel the need to stay longer. The life guards will threaten to kick you out easily so be cautious. We will be back but just to visit the area, it’s very pretty with a few good looking restaurants.
Best time I have had in a long long time! So much fun. We had a huge crew of about 200 people and the hospitality was great. Felt like a kid again running around on the aqua park! Dj at night on the water.
Went in to rent paddle boards and filled out the waivers online as we were told to do. After waiting in the heat for 30 minutes I’m line we got to the front. Once the women could not find the other waiver she told us we need to go to the back of the line and make sure it was filled out.Seriously, it would have taken two minutes tops. And I even showed her in my phone where it said it was completed. Extremely rude she didn’t even say SORRY you’ll have to go head to the back of the line. Or can you PLEASE. Maybe learn some manners. And be a little bit more accommodating. Especially when it would have been very easy to do so. It was only one waiver!
Came here on 07/22/20 man what a time TO BE ALIVE . Bro I had a blast no lie man lol me & my friends was lit the whole entire time . Made me enjoy my whole Las Vegas experience. I welcome anyone to stop by here & enjoy themselves. Rather you with a friend, family, partner whoever lol you will have fun man . I guarantee, plus they have good deals . Not expensive what so ever very reasonable. Awesome customer service guys
This was a great experience. We loved the electric boat and had so much fun. Everybody was nice and well prepared.
This is a great place to paddle board. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only downside is parking, especially if you bring your own boards. You have to park in the garage and walk back down. I would give this place higher make if they could score a parking lot down by the water. $15 fee if you bring your own is reasonable if I can park closer.
Paddle boarding is a blast! I had so much fun. Even on a hot Vegas day it was relaxing and you could dip your legs in to cool off. Highly recommended this. The staff was super friendly and helpful checking in and everything!!! Thank you!$
We decided to change from a 2 hr to 1hr rental. I was told that it didnt matter, it is a flat fee even if we decide to change the amount of time which is bs and bad business ethics. I shouldve been charged 50 instead of 70. Also they shouldnt be allowed to keep your card while you are out on the water.I definitely dont recommend.
Will never go again we drove 45 min out there to be highly disappointed. Website quoted 1 price and in person it was literally double when we arrived. Also they didnt post all the restrictions for inflatable course. Also they didnt post on website or inform over phone that because of wind which there really wasnt any that you were limited on distance you could use kayak to half of normal. Took family out there 2 carloads of us to turn around and leave to go to cowabunga bay it was labor day so they should of stayed on website or over phone the changes in price and restrictions such as no glasses or goggles or any piercings and double price with half the distance to use things it was ridiculous.
Have been out to Lake Las Vegas before yet this has to be the best time. They have added so much that you can make a day out of it. Lake Las Vegas water sports is the best addition and turned out to be a great time. They offer so many options to being in the water from paddle boarding, paddle bikes to a water obstacle course. Definitely something for either the family or just you and special someone as prices are very reasonable. Not overly overcrowded either plus staff at Waters sports tremendous. Very friendly, very professional and very personable.
I can not imagine all the positive reviews of this place, its simply horrible. They charge $30 per person for 45 min of basically swimming in dirty filthy green nasty water, a few blow up short water slides and then try to get you to tip life gourds due to the fact their to cheap to pay them enough, or just trying to further GIG the consumer. I a one to tip for services, eateries, delivery and much more, and usually a considerable amount if the service is good, but to ask patrons to tip their life guards, after charging these exurbanite admission fees for a totally sub par water experience, simply infuriated me... I would not pay $10 a person to go back to this nasty place... Just me, we are all entitled to our opinions...
Great place to check out, if you’re looking for new activities at an affordable price!Coming from Chicago and spending my summer and fall breaks in Wisconsin, after only being here a year...I really started to miss the water and a lake that made me feel like I was back in the Midwest. After seeing what Lake Mead charged for certain rentals, I was starting to wonder if I could ever afford to try an activity like kayaking or paddle boarding...without it costing more than the experience is actually worth in dollars for a day.Lake Las Vegas is in a beautiful spot, where you’ve got little resort places that have restaurants, an ice cream parlor, and supermarket, all surrounding the lake and where you’d first come to check in.Doesn’t cost an arm and a leg to sign up for an activity and you can really included more of the family (as opposed to me, doing it solo). Felt more comfortable than Lake Mead...seclusion and peace when on the water. Really all that I needed.
The course was amazing and I love the variety. There were fun slides and things to climb on. The water was almost too warm but still so nice on a 100+. My only complaint was the time we had to play was too short.
My family and I went paddle boarding on a Sunday and we had so much fun. If you want to avoid crowds, go first thing in the morning. Also wear sunscreen and a hat. Even though you’re on a lake, it was still scorching hot! We will definitely come back and try kayaking.
Booked everything online while we drove to lake las vegas. Once we got there we were able to check in and get started right away. My son loved it. Great way to get out while still socially distancing.
Had a blast here i would advise everybody to rent the boat....very relaxing and with good company you will love to return
If you are looking for a few hours to kill and you like water this place is a calming setting with multiple activities you and your family to enjoy. There is several places to eat but this trip I did not get a chance to try any of them but they sure did smell good. Go ahead and give this place a try.
The family had a blast on the water bounce house! However, it was more suited to the younger members. We originally thought 45 minutes wouldnt be enough time but it is so physically demanding, 15 minutes was enough for me!
We reserved a kayak online thinking it was going to be easier but still had to wait in the heat twice. It was uncomfortably clear that no one was enforcing masks or social distancing seriously, & nothing was being disinfected like our oars or smelly life vests. We ended up having a nice experience, however this place felt so unsafe & disorganized, I probably wouldve left if I hadnt already prepaid. Also I realized this place texts customers to only leave a five star yelp review, while making all their over 300 negative reviews not recommended!
Honestly, Ive rented from here before and had good experiences. But it only takes one to end up disliking it. They pushed you to book online. You assume they would be responsible with there booking times. I was waiting in like for 35 min. Still wasnt anywhere close to being up. My appointment was for 11. They over booked. Missed my appointment. And to top it off they had no social distancing in place. Everyone was standing in line right next to each other. So after I realized I wasnt going to get in the water until about an hour to hour and a half past my appointment and told them I couldnt be that late due to work and asked for them to refund the money because of their failure and lack of organization and safety they just said no. They is no responsibility on them to make a good safe experience. So it is what it is. Its only 32$ but the lack of caring, safety, and planning was a terrible experience. I wouldnt ever book online like they tell you to. Go there first. See if its busy or something you want to do. Then book. But if you just trust them to be responsible and take care of you and your money, they wont. And then its just tough luck
Great family time. Where else can you have a great time with family while exercising and loosing 10 lbs in 45 minutes.
Nice place to visit. We rented some paddle boards and went around on the lake, It was a blast. Staff was friendly and very helpful. No outside food or drinks, to include any alcoholic beverages.
My GF and I made reservations for Friday night and wound up needing to reschedule. LLV Water Sports was incredibly accommodating with our reschedule and the younger guy at the counter literally said they just wanted to make sure we were happy and taken care of. We were and it was a great experience! We took a double glass bottom kayak out and really enjoyed the lake. WOuld 100% recommend. Check out some of our pics!
Water jetpack shoes whatever you call it was amazing. Zander was an excellent instructor and will do every time I am in the area.
So much fun! Took my 11 year old daughter to the aqua sports and had a blast. A little annoying there was no phone number to call but the text app they have worked and they communicated well.
Rented a kayak a few weeks ago online. Everything went smoothly. The dock hands are young but were extremely helpful. This crew knew what was expected and they delivered. Today, a group of us (21) were given the opportunity to try paddleboarding and again, everything was smooth. As long as you follow the rules, fill out your waiver online and take it upon yourself to follow the social distancing and mask wearing guidelines, everything will be fine. You will have a great time. Thank you to the worker who recognized me later and gave me my hat back, after I lost it.If youre trying to get out of the Vegas heat, this is the place to be. Totally worth everything penny.
Awesome way to spend an afternoon. Very easy to access and very fun!
Absolutely amazing from the beginning to the end.I want to thank you lake Las Vegas water sports for making my sons bday party the best of the best. We celebrate it at the aqua park at the Westin hotel and it was a the the best time ever. Thank you Trevor for such an amazing day!!!!This is a perfect day for kids and adults to have fun and especially in the Vegas heat.
It was a good time. We rented a couple paddleboards for the first time. Didnt require a whole lot of balance or skill. Nice being out on the lake in the sun.
Went to the Water Park and the lifeguard Alex was amazing. My daughter had a callous on her foot that tore off and we thought we were done. Alex was very kind and professional. He wrapped her foot with gauze so we could continue
We went on a Friday afternoon and it was perfect. Not heavily populated and staff was quick and friendly
What a great day on Lake Las Vegas, Our day started out with a text asking us to arrive 10 minutes later than our scheduled reservation, as they were running a little behind due to having to sanitize each boat as it returned due to covid 19 regulations, not only was I impressed with the communications from the company, but also with the sanitizing process, we felt totally safe !!! The outstanding staff went above and beyond from the beginning of our trip till the end.Now for the day on the lake, we packed a cooler with sandwiches & drinks and set out for a leisurely ride on the lake. We enjoyed the scenery and loved the beautiful homes, had lunch and cruised the lake, it was just a perfect day !!!Unfortunately the winds really picked up, and we had to return to the dock earlier than expected.Upon our return the staff went out of their way to make up for our abbreviated trip. These guys are professionals and are dedicated to customer service.Well definitely be back
Me and my wife had a great time paddleboarding. Would do it again.
Tried paddleboard yoga and had so much fun. Definitely something to try
Excellent water park! This place is safe fun for the whole family. We had a great time!
Okay, so.... Didnt know this place existed until we were doing a time share meeting and the time share rep let us know where it was. So, I go online to look for the place to spend some time there with the family since we were in Vegas. The online booking process was pretty straight forward and not difficult to book. TIMING is key. So, the information is kind of convoluted after the online booking process and there is also apparently a texting process involved also that is not mentioned on the website which I will mention later. First, I looked for a promo code to save some money (who wouldnt, unless your rich and you dont care to waste money). Oh and make sure you change before hand, bring towels, sunscreen. There is a bathroom but we had to ask where it was and was more of a 1 person bathroom. I found a promo code online at travelincoupons, then I asked about a military discount through the text service I found trying to call them. The military discount was only 5% (only 5%? Not that great of a discount for veterans who have put their life on the line and families that support their veterans), (company FAIL). Moving on...so I just used the more valuable 10% from travelincoupon website. We get to the lake and I get to the counter to sign us in and I was thinking I was going to sign some PAPER liability forms for my family but apparently, you have to do it online. Apparently, there is also a text option, so I try the text option waiver forms and got locked out and after sending the wrong text message (company FAIL). So, here I am signing the forms on my smart phone because the iPads they had were slow to respond to my inputs (company FAIL). Frustrated at this point and copious amounts of people hanging around waiting for their turn. I had four people, my wife, myself and two kids. Apparently, one adult and two addition persons can be signed on one online liability waiver. So now I go back to my online app to sign my own liability waiver form but the watersport website stated that I can sign up to five people on one liability waiver form (company FAIL). Oh, did I mention the additional question you have to answer on the liability waiver, yes you have to refill out the name, name address, how you found about us…yada, yada…wasted time. I get through the process and I was ready to receive our dang wrist bands, and wouldnt you know it, we got one wrist band each, apparently I was supposed to get two wrist bands each for the two hours I paid for but the staff at the lake told us it was okay since the ticket counter jacked up the process and assured us that it was not our fault. Got to playing on the lake equipment and once you fall in the water the lifeguards harp on people to get back on the equipment, apparently you have a time limit (a few seconds) to hang around swimming in the lake (company FAIL fun). Having just small swimming goggles would be great for eye protection but those are not allowed either. Two hours is more than enough time, after 1 hour your tired. Had a bit of fun. The equipment is hard so be ready to feel sore if you bounce off them when you fall. Two stars for the inconvenience of signing waivers and the ticket counter slowing the process down with not finding your name and giving us the wrong amount of wristbands and the life guards telling you to get back on the equipment and not really having a place to wash off and change clothes.
We all had a great time at Lake Las Vegas Water Sports. We did paddle boarding with the kids. They provided life jackets . The kids had a great time. Very easy to have a child on a paddleboard with you. The employees were very pleasant and easy to work with as well.
Always fun way to spend the day. Known water issues, dont be surprised...
Amazing expierience on the lake with our family! Aqua park was not only fun for our kids but also for us. What a blast! Staff is very friendly and helpfull. We will be back for sure.
Dont worry guys! You guys are great and as the staying goes, you cant please everyone. And as for the few displeased? Perhaps an additional year in quarentine, might do you some good?!
Wow.. Figure out what you are doing. When you can do it. And know the $ you are paying to do it. The water is busy, but not 100% clean close to land.
It was a great experience and will be looking forward to going again very soon. Staff was extremely helpful and polite.
It’s not size friendly my sister she fit in a lifeguard but when she got to the water she couldn’t go after inflatable‘s because they were too high for her and also her way and everything was not able to climb up when it says right there in the website that you guys are able to go up any no matter what if your lifeguard fit Also to go up to your lockers it’s not size friendly even neither because on the say they have a little stairs and you couldn’t climb up the stairs because do you does it have one more stars in the bottom and my sister was about 20 minutes in the water without going up because it gonna pick her up or help her also to go up to your lockers it’s not size friendly even neither because on the side they have a little stairs and you couldn’t climb up the stairs because do you doesn’t have one more stars in the bottom and my sister was about 20 minutes in the water without going up because it going to pick her up or help her but although friendly people and stuff
This place is super fun for adults and kids! You have to use your arm muscles a lot to pull yourself up which can quickly show you how out of shape you are! Haha. I only gave it 4 stars because the water at Lake Las Vegas isn’t the best.
I would so rate this 5 stars, but I felt like the price was a bit high. (I hate to be THAT GUY) because I knew the price before I booked.. but everywhere I’ve rented a paddleboards was almost half the price. That being said, the staff was friendly and helpful and everything ran very smoothly. Would definitely recommend anyone rent here. (Just feel they could be a bit more reasonable on SUP’s)
Lake Las Vegas is one of my favorites. The Waterpark is an extra experience! Definitely a go to!
We go down regularly to lake Las Vegas to support our local businesses. We’ve seen them get hit hard over the pandemic and decided as restrictions are lifting to celebrate some graduations and milestones on the lake for a little excursion. Came out last Monday to make plans and reservations and was told the price and to book online. Sounded good. Cancelation policy not so great so I waited until the day of to make reservation knowing they had been slow and being wary of spending money with them yet as I’m an ER nurse during a pandemic and anything can happen (and from other reviews you can see the return policy is horrible). Woke up early this morning to make reservations and the price has doubled. Called and asked why and all I got was that it was a holiday weekend. I told them that they knew that on monday but failed to let me know that price would double? So now my plans for this evening are kinda ruined and they have broken my kids heart. Going from $129 to $349 because of a holiday (when it’s 3 days from the holiday yet) when there are tons of open slots just seems ridiculous especially when we are repeat customers and inquired about all this earlier. I hope in the future they will change their policies and make it easier for customers to plan or honor their cancellation policy.
Very disappointed and do not recommend. I live in the village and been walking around many times and saw their sign outside with membership pricing list. Came over there with my friend, ready for a fun day in the water, our swimwear on, to purchase one of the monthly memberships and enjoying ourselves, but the girl in the office said that they’re no longer offer this membership deal but only the yearly one, even tho they still have the sign on.Very unprofessional and I wouldn’t recommend this place.
Very relaxing peaceful
We had a blast renting a kayak! Customer service was awesome! The views were gorgeous! It was worth the experience! we definitely will be back!
The Instructor guy stole my phone yesterday..i put my phone down to change by the time I was done my iPhone 11 pro was gone..i asked him about it n he deny it ..we were the only ppl there..My friends n I arrived late so people were gone by than..smh never going back.. this is not the first time they stole ..
Had a blast! Friendly staff. Everything you need for a day of fun on the water!
So fun and good pricing on kayaking!
We had the most fun here for my birthday.
Id go again without freaking out.
Lots of fun. Little disorganized due to holiday weekend- Memorial Day 2020. Safe fun water was a blast. Rented kayaks for my teens! We will do it again!!!
Had a great time with doing the kayak and paddle board would love to do it again.
Is so beautiful, really nice
(Review for obstacle course)Super fun water obstacle structure! Good for everyone, especially in groups of friends. I think there could be weekday specials for groups or something to make it a little cheaper, but otherwise something fun to do to beat the heat
We signed up for Paddle Boarding on a packed Saturday morning with Vegas locals looking to get away. Lake Las Vegas Water Sports knocked it out...Interwebs registration: We paid online and filled out the waiver form online the morning of our scheduled visit. This made it extremely quick to check in to get our wristbands. The staff was efficient and friendly. They gave us our wristbands and we headed off to the dock.Docks and Paddle Boarding: We stashed our stuff in the lockers on the dock and headed over to the paddle boarding area. The lead attendant measured us for your paddles and gave a quick but effective lesson on paddle boarding. Other attendants by the paddle boards get you ankle strapped in and keeps the board steady until you paddle away. The boards and paddles were in good condition and appeared relatively new.You can cruise around the lake and its pretty wide open so you dont have to worry about hitting other paddle boarders, kayaks, boats, submarines, aircraft carriers, etc. The million dollar houses on the shore is pretty much youre only scenery but thats just fine.Overall, the staff we very friendly, upbeat and they were covid-19 compliant. Dont forget to tip out on the workers who are getting their summer hustle on. Ill probably check out water park or the Flybaord Water jetpack sometime later this summer. The hassle free online reservations and staff makes the visits very drama free and fun. Enjoy!
Very friendly and helpful people. Great time for the adults and the kids.
Now that was hecka funnnnnnI Paddleboarded my first time. And I aced it, because of the these guys. Such good instructions and equipmentIt was a flipping blast...I will be back yayyyyy
Super fun and tiring. Be ready for a fantastic time
Great day on the water. If you havent been to lake las Vegas waterworks, you gotta go.
I enjoyed spending time with my sister. I wish we could swim however I am afraid of that water.
Awesome place to spend the afternoon. Great staff and lots of fun.
Took my family out for a little fun in the sun. I forgot water was this close to the desert. Had the best time and Im going back.
Really fun time and during the week its kinda empty, water temp was perfect
If you have an reservation expect to stand in line for at least 30 minutes and have your waivers lost. Good luck on getting your kayak/Paddleboards very Unemloyment organized. Give yourself extra 2 hours from all the delays!! Managers won’t even speak to you about experience!!
Great day at theAqua park & stand up paddling the lake. Definitely will come back again!
The staff here is awesome and we had a great time. I highly recommend this company to anybody who wants to try this sport.
Amazing and fun experience coming from a first time paddle boarder. The wind got bad which made it near impossible to paddle back to shore on time, so they sent a boat out to retrieve us. Will go back.
Fun, friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Best place to be when its 100°+ in Vegas.
We had a great time on the lake this weekend. Great quality paddle boards, a pleasant day and helpful staff.
I had fun the kayaks were nice however the staff.... not so pleased. They were quite rude and basically informed me i didn’t know how read.
Highly recommended Lake Las Vegas Aqua Park. Bring the family & get ready for a work out
Havent received my refund. We arrived to our boat reservation that I paid $249.00 for. The line was very long so everyone who needed to fill out a waver was told to move to the right...we all filled out the waver and waited for further assistance. The young lady continued to keep taking many guest. I waved her down and let her kn ki w we are late for our reservation. She said oh you have to go down towards the water she pointed I said Im sorry but we are late someone should have told us it was down there she said sorry its window our sign keeps falling down. I then walk down and am told the boat is ready but still has to be back at the same time....after we went through 3 employees to talk to a manager Ashley said my refund would be returned. I am still waiting a week and a half later....very disappointed because we frequent this place alot ..we bring all of our friends here as well....
Nice place to dock out. You can rent their kayak or bring your own.
They will leave you stranded! I rented an electric boat, the battery died in the middle of my rental. I called and texted them for help but no one responded. They were supposed to give me a free voucher for a new boat ride but they never did. Horrible!
Great time with friends ir family!
Living in Las Vegas for so many years we finally discovered the water sports at Lake Las Vegas which we now continue to go kayaking almost every other weekend. The staff the restaurants surrounding it are just so super it feels like you’re in a different state I highly suggest going kayaking if you can find the time.
Awesome!!!! Love it!!!!Make sure to rent the party boat and make sure to reserve your time for your group.
COVID did put a damper on things as far as the hours of availability, and activities availability, but other than that we had an Amazing time. Looking forward to going back.
Fun experience at the water sports park. Good for kids and adults.
Renting the boat and hanging out on the lake with my wife and puppy was so much fun. The customer service was awesome. Operating the boat and cruising the lake was so relaxing with the wind blowin. The only thing that ruined my day was returning to the dock full of inexperienced paddle boarders and kayakers. They were expecting me to turn on a dime inorder to not collide with them. This was stressful and had me leaving with a bad mood after all was said and done. There needs to be a larger or designated area off to the side for the boats to dock. This would alleviate any accidental collisions.
They had live Jamaican music and bbq and a lot of fun storts activity
Better than going to the gym, this is 45 continuous minutes of calisthenics.
The ease of checking in was nice, staff was friendly, & the paddle boards were awesome!
