Positive: Location Negative: The tv lagged needs update
I felt very safe there. Its a great place to bring your family. There are various restaurants at the resort, places to shop and eat within walking distance. I love the fact the resort and casino are connected. There are various safety measures in place, staff wiping machines, hand sanitizing stations, mask being inforced, etc.
Friendly staff, rooms were in really good shape. Clearly a AAA 4 Diamond level resort.Food wasnt great in the cafe and seafood restaurant, but service was great.Table games dealers were about 90% great as were the table games supervisors.Slot floor was well populated with popular games nice environment.Little bit confusing on the hotel layout and signage, but overall great place.
Green Valley Ranch casino is awesome. We love it there. They are taking all precautions to keep it safe for everyone. We feel comfortable there.
I had a very important dinner planned for my family. I took a tour about a month and a half in advance and was led to believe that the room I viewed was what I was reserving. I paid for early check in and didn’t end up checking in early. I ended up checking in ridiculously late. I had no time to get prepared for my dinner and was told they gave someone else the room that was promised to me and they chose late check out when I had already paid for early check in a month before my dinner. I took the room that was given because I had no time to switch to any other type of room with my guests coming in the next hour or so. Started setting up and it wasn’t the room that I chose. I chose a room with a balcony because me and my fiancé’s parents where coming to dinner, they are older so they needed fresh air flowing in and out the room. Room had no balcony and no windows to open. This unacceptable mishap should not have happened. That day was special and it was a mess trying to get everything together with the time given. And for all the trouble they put me through I was only offered my early check in money back ($20) after ruining my whole experience in our Geneva Suite. At the end after I made a fuss at customer service they called me and offered me $100 in compensation. Seriously? $100 for a $600 a night suite? What a disappointment. Might I add we spent almost $400 at the cabana the next morning. I feel as though I was treated like my stay meant nothing to them. It was my birthday as well. What a shame.
My favorite hotel outside of the strip! Always so fun to bring local friends to the pool during the week days and catch rays. Their food and drinks are out of this world good for a pool side bar! Great portions and large drinks!Sometimes the service sucks and that is the only reason I’m rating it 4 stars. Feels like it always takes forever to get a waitress to come over, when you’re sitting by the pool.
I am a huge fan on cleanliness! I love clean and it is why both Green Valley and Red Rock Resort and Casino are my favorite casinos. It does not smell like cigarettes, eww! And I will not play at a dirty station. Especially, these days. I love their Grand Cafe and I miss the buffet! Green Valley, in my opinion, had the best breakfast and dinner buffets!! It was our go to buffet in LAS. We also loved Tides. Especially the sashimi!! The Drop, weve been to a couple of times. Modern quaintness to the design of the bar. Very nice. Gambling? Not much luck there, LOL!
Didnt stay at the hotel but they let us hang out at the pool to have drinks. Servers were really nice. Drinks nice and strong. Pool looked nice but kinda small. I did like that they had a sandy beach type area with graduated walk into the pool at the far end. Great for kids.
Security wouldnt let me wear my clear mask covering nose and mouth. Went to South Point with no complaints. No more Green Valley Ranch for my family.
I was looking for a quiet time to read, relax, and enjoy a few days off. I picked GVR because it wasnt on the Strip and looked nice online. Overall, its an upscale property and they are trying to adjust to COVID. I got a good rate . However, it didnt include the resort fee if almost $50. It basically gets you access to the pool and isnt optional. Since I didnt use the pool, it wasnt a goid dealThe property was easy enough to access via car once you have it figured out. I ate at 3 places in the Casino which offered average, „corporate“ tasting food.I guess I was looking for a more intimate and curated experience, which I didnt find here. Maybe Vegas is not my kind of town.
Gvr is a great place to have a good time. Employees are so nice. Gvr is trying very hard to keep us safe from COVID and I really appreciate them for doing that.
Great place to hangout for the locals during the week nights. The casino is pretty large and has most machines and tables you need. The atmosphere is good just not for a weekend night out if you know what I mean. Otherwise, I enjoy going to this place once in a while.
One of the better casinos designed for Las Vegas locals. I know its technically in Henderson, but this is my review so I can call it a Las Vegas hotel. Its nice. The facilities are clean and designed well. The movie theater is good and sometimes Ill come here to go to the movies and then take a quick stop at REI or the the shops in the district near the casino and resort.
Our shower dripped couldnt stop it, after 3 of our 5 day stay wanted to take a bath. The hot water tap was seized up, said they would have to turn water off to whole floor to fix so no bath, just small stuff but beautiful resort overall
Terrific experience. Handled the covid acclimations smoothly. Valets polite and helpful. Food in restaurants was well prepared and priced. Hotel was very clean. Pool area is huge and well-maintained. Definitely an upscale resort. Some areas - carpet, paint - need a little tlc, but the rest of the experience is so good, it didnt matter. Great clientele at the resort.
Very nice casino. Great environment. Wish they still had a poker room.
Great casino. Pi was a great dealer. He made loosing $200 very enjoyable
We had a great time. There were lots of people, very crowded casino. So much so it was hard to find clean seats to play on, glad I brought my own wipes. Other than that the atmosphere was one of fun it seemed for all who were happy to get out and about.
A great alternative to the strip as a local who sometimes wants something quieter or easy. The place is classy while not being overly expensive, while offering the expensive option if so desired. Rooms are great, casino is massive and full of options, and the restaurants from The Grand Cafe to Tide to Hanks Steak House are all worth trying and wont leave you disappointed.
Really love this place, it was fantastic before I became a plant based eater and is fantastic after. The tomato caprese is A+ as is their seasonal fruit bowl.
I was here just briefly for a conference, but since I didnt receive decent instructions on where in this place that was, I ended up getting see most of this place. Its gorgeous! Everything oozes luxurious feeling. Much of it was still closed (covid), but I was still impressed with how nice it all looks. The casino was open. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back when more of it reopens. If I was hosting an event/conference, I would certainly use this place.
Wonderful Hotel Overall I will say we had a great time and My Anniversary say was the Best, only 2 problems Not very attentive upon arrival didnt appear they had adequate staff in valet and check out VIP was closed so I had to wait in line for regular check out. Other than that Wonderful I will be back again. Quiet, Clean, Friendly. Luggage Service Guys were Awesome
The atmosphere was great. There werent many people. I like the steak dinner at the cafe. No floor waitresses really out and the atmosphere seemed meh. Had better energy on similar floors in casinos in Seattle so even though the food great the vibe sucked.
This is my go-to off the strip casino. It is always very clean and well-maintained. It is located in a great part of Henderson and contains multiple awesome restaurants (my favorite being Pizza Rock).
Good place to visit and hang out at the pool. Inside was immaculate and the cabanas were nice. I give it four stars because my cabana had already been paid for by someone else when we arrived but they still charged me for it when I went to settle my bill. They have some administrative issues. The cost for alcohol was also very expensive.
Wow what a great place to stay! The rooms were so clean and comfortable. The pool was simply amazing, and the service by the pool was so quick and excellent. The casino had tons of fun games and the great lady behind the keno counter was very patient and fun and taught me how to play. It is a beautiful casino, that is clean and fun to stay at. I highly recommend for it people and families of all ages. I really appreciated them taking the temperature of everyone that came in to help protect us from the Covid. I also appreciated the constant cleaning going on by the staff to keep everyone safe.
My girlfriend recently married and had a room with a balcony that you could step out on and enjoy some of the city lights depending on the direction you were facing. A place I would tell anyone looking for a little get away to somewhere beautiful, quiet this would be the spot.
I went to the casino part to play the slots I stayed for like 3hrs it was clean I was asked if I wanted a drink everything was great I won a lil money n left. I would definitely go again n I am
My kids and I stayed here for my daughters birthday. The pool is so fun and they have beach sand in it!!!! My kids played for hours in it. The hotel rooms were very nice and clean. The beds were so comfortable and clean feeling. Staff was very pleasant. When you get to the hotel they take your temperature when you come through the doors. You just wear a mask at all times while in the hotel. They do walk around and give a friendly reminder if someone has it off. We wish the buffet was open but hopefully sometime soon it will be.
Great place to stay. I love Las Vegas but also had bad experience of less desirable crowd a few times. This is a much classier place to enjoy . They have great customer service, reasonable gambling pricing, great food, outstanding outdoor patio and pool . Walkable to strip of shops and more eateries. Very well decorated and exceptionally clean . I felt safe even during Covid pandemic. I was able to get room service for breakfast and I had many options for outdoor dining
I love green valley ranch its so close to my moms house and I love the service there. Good people, good food, very ritzy place for a casino off the strip. Great shows come there, movie theater, all around great place to go, period.
I have stayed here before but this was my 1st time staying in an Executive Suite. The room was great and the view of the pool was also great. The room has 2 closets, a vanity table, couch, and a nice sitting chair apart from the desk chair. My check in went very smooth. I needed items from housekeeping and while the order wasnt correct when delivered, the guy was more than happy to come back with the missing items. The service at GVR is impeccable. My kids enjoyed their time at Kids Quest. I found the food at the Grand Cafe was better than the Red Rocks Grand Cafe. The valet and Bell staff were excellent. The slot machine play was up and down but overall its gambling so it is what it is. I like this property but the slot floor is missing several games that other properties have.
Beautiful place.. Loved the pool and rooms.. slot Machines were good too I was a few hundred ahead during my stay
Very nice casino, great selection of games. I cant say anything about the hotel because I have never stayed here. Overall it was an enjoyable experience.
Staff is very good. Friendly and easy. Virus precautions were top notch. Pool area, beautiful. My only beef is no micro wave and coffe maker in room
If you have kids and want to gamble, this is the place. They have a Kids Quest with many activities for kids. Children can stay there for up to 5 hours a day. The staff is wonderful at the Kids Quest. Pool is great for family fun with deepest part of pool being 4 feet. The staff is very attentive to your eating and drinking needs. Cabanas for up to 9 people are available to rent for $100.00 a day which includes two poolside chairs, a TV, a fridge with water, and a fruit platter. With the cabana you also get access to a pool that is only for those that rent the cabanas. There is currently no buffet available due to COVID-19, but there are plenty of dining options available from fast food to dine-in restaurants.
Went there Aug 21 to spend the weekend with my daughter. The place is amazing and friendly staff. Our room is very nice. And pool area is amazing.
I was somewhat disappointed when I stayed here. The rooms were well appointed and clean; but the layout for me was really confusing. The complex meandered everywhere. The TV went out on the second night and totally stopped working. The fourth floor is hot; no matter what temp it is set. The casino itself is a take - take proposition - didnt really let us play. Extremely tight slots. The one saving grace is how wonderful their chefs are ; along with their cocktail servers and food waitresses. Excellent on that end - Room Service, as well. I will not stay there again though. Not bad ; Not great
Fantastic resort!! Beyond friendly staff, clean and safe feeling environment down in the casino along with a wide variety of cuisine (cant wait for the buffet to reopen!). Rooms were very well kept and we felt right at home when staying. Cant wait to come back.
Very disappointing visit, I saw at least 15 gamers wearing mask hanging on their ears and out of the 15 four were not wearing mask at all. To busy smoking or drinking, one next me no social distancing with no mask. I did not feel comfortable and left. I will not return until GVR gets it under control. Yes I did report this toOHSA.
If I were to compare this hotel to a Las Vegas strip hotel, I would say that it reminds me a little of the Bellagio. But its more spaceous, and more comfortable. The place is VERY clean. People sanitizing things everywhere. They also have hand sanitizer and sanitizing wipes widely available to clean the buttons of the machines. We play video poker so that made me feel much more comfortable. The room is cleaned very thoroughly, then the supervisor inspects and spray sanitizes it. The room gets a sanitized seal on the door when done. We are plant-based eaters and ate from the vegan menu at Hanks to celebrate our birthdays. The food was AMAZING! The Inniskillin ice wine was fabulous with the desert! The next day we had lunch at the fancy Italian Restaurant. Vegan eggplant Parm, mushroom calamari (it even felt like calamari in the mouth) and rich chocolate pudding for dessert. Total gluttony! Next time Ill stay more than 2 days.
Casino pays high attention to cleaning machines and customer areas. Restrooms are shining. You can feel safe here.
Positive: I liked the Jacuzzi tub
Waitresses were awesome. It was an extremely nice atmosphere and they had plenty of games to choose from
Great place. Comfortable rooms. Service is fantastic! Signs to hotel rooms west could be better. Overall top notch!!!! Bathrooms are beautiful! Comfortable tub!!!
Well lit, good selection of slots and table games. Reasonable table limits. Friendly staff, enjoy playing there.
Great locals place with class. Variety of places to eat, rooms are 1 of a kind. Pool area so nice. There is plenty of shopping next to GV Ranch
Super nice resort and shopping complex away from the strip and the crowds. The nicest Station property.
Casino overall look is nice but the slot machines are super tight. Not even a bonus and I played there for hours!!! Not coming back I think there are looser slots in southern California and central California casinos. Vegas is over rated!
Typical greedy Stations casino. I dislike Stations as every time I have brought out of town friends and family here, they complain about never winning and after being harassed at another property by a regular I swore them off for good. This time was worse, as they have tightened the machines to a criminal level, no way they are complying with the regulations. I dropped my aunt and uncle off there with a $2,000 bankroll. I arrived back in less than two hours and they had less than $400 left. They played multiple machines at 2 or 3 times the bet and never hit anything above the couple of dollars they were betting, they managed to hit a couple of bonuses, but didnt win more than $20 combined. My uncle was disgruntled at the lack of perks the players card had, which were none. My aunt said no one else was winning either, most people left looking sad and the casino was dead, so maybe people are starting to wise up.For comparison, I took them to the Cosmopolitan with their last $400. My aunt and uncle both hit big wins with my uncle getting a hand pay shortly before we left. They doubled their original bankroll with the $400 they didnt give to Stations.Moral of the story, the Fertittas are insanely cheap and greedy, they do not care about their guests or employees, only about squeezing every last dollar out of as many suckers as they can.
One of my favorite places to stay in Vegas...very family friendly, awesome pool/beach area, wonderful food options and the staff was over the top friendly and accommodating! Rooms were spacious and ours had a gorgeous view! We will be back!
DO NOT STAY HERE. The rooms here are horrid. They feel like they are from the 70s. The walls are paper thin. The plumbing can only handle 1 visit before overflowing everywhere. And trying to get the staff to do anything is a joke. They dont seem to care. The beds are so uncomfortable. Like really bad. We asked for an extra blanket and they brought us what looked like one of those blankets you give an inmate. It gets worse. We were woken up at 3am to some lunatic pounding on the walls. Even after calling the front desk, it continued. Oh and guess what... This is only our first night! We still have 3 more nights here. Ugh. My wife doesnt want me to say anything to the staff but when you want to relax and stay somewhere nice youd expect a resort to be much much nicer. Trust me. Dont stay in the hotel here. This was a huge mistake. 2nd day, we asked to move rooms. They werent very accommodating but moved us anyway. We go to the pool, for November its really nice right now. Come back and try our keys in the new room... THEY WONT WORK. Luckily an employee was walking by and let us in our room. But cmon, why is this so hard for them? I just hope the next 2 days are better than this.3RD and 4th days were better but still not great. When we checked out and explained to the manager how our experience was his only response was Ill make sure the lock gets fixed. That was his take away. Thanks for nothing pal!
Truly complete casino (with some table gaming) resort...in suburban Henderson, it is the antidote to the VEGAS STRIP casino experience. The hotel, conference center, massive pool area ( its gardens with cyprus, palms, rose bushes, and even grape vines) were clearly designed to recall an Italian renaissance estate..casino itself was slightly dated but NOT the hotel or guest rooms. My room (a king) was large, elegant and in superior condition. Property condition was very good. Staff very COVID-conscious. Pool, gardens, and fitness center were simply outstanding.. Not simply a hotel, but a relaxing, self-contained-resort experience with many dining options (from elegant to on-prmise food court) to suit.any budget. Too many room amenities to mention. Well-trained staff from housekeeping, to front desk, to pool staff were exceptionally attentive.. a great value .. definitely plan to return.
The machines pay off better and they have plenty of very nice cocktail waitresses and personnel and more upscale than the other Station Casinos
Just a nice casino outside the strip. Little village shopping street was so beautiful at night. A much rather stay in this area than LV.
My husband left his wallet on the Airplane. We did not know and at check in they turned us away even with me having the same last name and the exact same credit card except for the first name on our 28th anniversary!! I have always loved this place and stay here every time I fly in from Colorado. I’m seriously upset! We left without a room and had to call and speak to someone else who patched us through to the same exact girl who said- oh I spoke with my manager and you don’t have to cancel your reservation we can go ahead and add your name!! Seriously?! Wow!
Green Valley Ranch is the top of the line local casino. It is very safe . It is very clean. Pools are great. Great selections of restaurants
We had a wonderful brunch in a suite over looking the pool that was amazing best place to get together with family. We ordered from the cafe and took back to our sweet.
My second time here. Resort is nice. Amenities are plenty. We booked a queen executive suite. Room was very spacious and clean. Shower head had a constant drip and shower could use some new caulking, but other than that, no complaints. Casino itself was fun, even though I hardly won anything. Casino staff is very friendly. The Feast buffet was decent. Standard buffet with a comparable price. My only complaint was with the Grand Cafe. Went in for breakfast on a Monday morning. Took twenty minutes to be seated. The restaurant was not full. Service was ridiculously slow and our food was cold upon arrival at our table. In all, for a party of three adults and two children, it took one hour to get our meals. I would not recommend or return to this cafe. This is the only reason why the resort received four stars from me instead of five.
Rented a pool cabana for the day and could not be happier. The service was outstanding and price, on par with other pools. We are glad the Flamingo could not accommodate their guests and that Green Valley Ranch Resort could!
Good casino with a layout I seem to prefer. Bingo here is fun and the other amenities are very complementary to the hotel.
Phenomenal staff, friendly service, and very very very clean rooms. I felt extremely safe throughout my visit. It’s the perfect place to stay if the strip is not your thing.
Beautiful comfortable rooms but the parking layout is just stupid. The Architect needs fired. The parking is a long walk from your room. Which is a big deal for older people.
I really enjoyed my stay here! I was only there for one night, as I was in town for work, but I genuinely wished I could have stayed longer. The room was beautiful, comfortable and very clean. I walked the grounds and casino, and was so impressed by the gorgeous pool/beach club. Unfortunately, it was already closed by the time I checked in so I didnt get to enjoy the pool up close, but it looked wonderful. Great selection of restaurants in the casino-- we really enjoyed our meal at the Bottiglia Cucina & Enoteca. Thanks for a great stay ♡
I really enjoyed my stay at this Mediterranean style resort. The cleanliness of the entire resort is superb. Its a resort of luxury and oppulianc. While it was too cold during my stay to enjoy the pool, it is a thing of beauty with a sand beach. The rooms are very spacious, well furnished, and comfortable. The bed was comfortable compared to may other resorts, and extra supply of towels and bath robe were thoughtful and appreciated. The casino is nice, but nothing special. I did enjoy the ability to walk out of the resort to an outside shopping village with higher end stores, and comfortable spaces to sit and relax. The workout facility requires a bit of a walk to the spa located in a separate building near the pool on the resort campus. All of the equipment was modern, working, and well maintained in the gym. There are thick clean towels, and a supply of complementary cold bottle water.
If you want to get away from the strip, this is a good place to do it! Nice sportsbook.
Very nice cosy and relaxing- wonderful shopping street with few restaurants and live mucis in a walking distance from the resort
Great resort if youre looking to get away from the strip.
Hanks is a must go! Crystal was amazing the food was delicious! Thanks for the extra luxardo cherries!
Had a good time gambling. There were plenty of cocktail waitresses. Plenty of social distance and everyone wearing masks
Staff very friendly. Hotel was clean. Pool was great!
Awesome staff. Clean environment. Variety of games and food. Gave a great rate on a suite upgrade. Didnt know this gem exists. Will return.
Very nice amazing to see what was carved out of desert 20 or so years later
Hanks Steakhouse was delicious. The seafood appetizer was beautiful. I recommend staying here for some low key, off strip pampering.
Off of the strip and always a great place to stay. Great food both inside and outside the casino.
Loved it. We stayed in a double queen room. Great view. Comfortable beds, plenty of pillows. We went to the buffet feast for breakfast, fair prices, food food great services. Not to far from the strip, about 10 minutes. I recommend giving this place a shot.
Great hotel. Exceptional service. Lucy is the best. I love Lucy!! She made our stay complete!
Positive: The grounds. Negative: Covid Vegas is a horrible experience. Horrible. Not completely GV Ranchs fault, though they were not prepared for the 4th of July weekend.
I love all the station casinos. I live in Las Vegas and prefer to stay away from the strip. The station casinos treat locals better and Green Valley is the closest to where I live. I still like to visit them all.
Went here for a party. It was very nice, but not a place Id typically find myself. The decor is quite classy and modern. The floor plan is maze-like and it was difficult to locate where I was supposed to be. The suite was nice.
Fat burger service best in vegas all of them should b so fresh and service great
On my way out of Vegas its always a great place to eat and play a few hands of blackjack. I definitely recommend this place.
I stayed here with my family and loved it.the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because we got a view of the parking lot
We there for bingo, didnt do good but the customer service is awesome
This casino is beautiful! Very Clean and has very nice employees! Mr. D in valet was a very nice man and even helped me get in my car after helping my friend with directions to find me..lol My room was beautiful and very clean! Room service was speedy and the pancakes were yummy.
The Mexican food in there over rated restaurant was horrible. Not one person in our group of 8 thought it was good.
Went thru 14,000 in 2 months here.. what happened today is the straw that broke the camels back, will never spend another dime in this place again.. I like to play mostly for entertainment, and yes I do like win so I can keep playing, but today I was playing buffalo revolution, started off with 14 gold heads ( very rare)before even 1 bonus spin.. betting 1.50 I not only did not get the 15th gold head, total bonus 93.00.. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve bet the max here and it’s done the same thing..Not the first time it’s done this... but it will be the last at least to me.. never again will I step foot in a stations casino..
The staff that works are awesome from the front desk, valet and security. Keep up the great work .
The cafe review . Staff is very nice . Food not worth the prices. Servers dont wear gloves when serving our meals. Flavors are bland. No Pamesan fries like the other station casinos have and prices are a bit more also. Gave the another chance and wont be back.
Always a fan favorite. Very clean. Very aesthetically pleasing. Shower leaked a little, but a minor annoyance. Overall wonderful experience
Really nice place to stay in Vegas and the rates are great! There is great shopping a dining with in walking distance and the pool is amazing.
Pool was fun and family friendly. Hotel room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was very polite. I will definitely come and stay here again.
